In short, you’re a social media GOAT—an idea generating, trend identifying, wordsmithing, conversational powerhouse who loves getting down in the trenches at the front line of audience interaction and content creation

What you will be doing:

Listening and Engagement
  • Listen and respond to relevant consumer comments and questions
  • Provide on-brand responses to influencer and consumer @mentions
  • Identify opportunities for the brand to surprise and delight its audience
  • Manage and nurture a network of brand advocates, identifying key engagement opportunities in organic planning and growing communities
Content
  • Monitor feeds for relevant opportunities to inject the brand into culture
  • Spot new influencers opportunities
  • Track trending topics and identify reactive content opportunities
  • Write copy for organic posts and paid/dark content
  • Collaborate with the Content Creators in content planning and creation (photoshoots for video and stills production)
  • Champion platform best practice across all content developed for your brand– ensuring content is platform native
  • Collaborate with local influencer agencies and brand teams for influencer-led content planning and creation

Planning and client partnership

  • Receive and interrogate briefs from clients and supporting in brief development to creative teams and other partner.
  • Drive social media performance of social channels against KPIs through data insights, social first strategy, platform best practice and content optimisation.
  • Help to craft Tone of Voice guidance for FAQ and copy for brand’s social channels
  • Support in development in social channel strategy workstreams
  • Plan and create social content calendars
  • Present content ideas and brand social strategy to clients

What you need to be great in this role:

  • This job is best suited to an individual with at least 3 years of experience working in an agency or client side on brand marketing through social media.
  • A well-rounded creative individual who is always innovating, initiating, and creating.
