  • Five: Woman, 40s–50s. Titan of industry, desperate, willing to pay any price.

  • Scientist: 30s–50s. Urgent, interviewed on TV, warning the world.

  • Interviewer: 30s–50s. Dismissive, skeptical, uninterested in alarming the public.
