Groundglass Casting is on the hunt for authentic and captivating stories from Canadians about their experiences with Tim Hortons. For six decades, Tim Hortons has been more than just a coffee shop—it’s been a backdrop to countless memories and moments across Canada. From chance meetings that led to lifelong relationships, to heartwarming acts of kindness shared over coffee and Timbits, Tim Hortons has played a significant role in the lives of many Canadians.
We are looking for genuine stories that highlight the impact of Tim Hortons on your life or community. Whether it’s a story about finding love, building a community, a remarkable act of kindness, or a pivotal life moment shared in the warmth of a Tim Hortons location, we want to hear it!
Responsibilities

Participate in a pre-filming interview to share your story and discuss how Tim Hortons has played a meaningful role in your life.

Work with our production team during the filming day to authentically recount and possibly re-enact parts of your story.

Be available for one full day of filming, with the possibility of travel within Canada (all travel expenses covered).
Requirements

Must be a resident of Canada, aged 18 or older.

Have a true, personal story involving Tim Hortons that is heartfelt, interesting, or meaningful.

Comfortable being on camera and sharing your story with a wide audience.

Able to convey emotions and recount experiences in a compelling way.

Available for one day of filming and potentially able to travel within Canada (if required).
Compensation
Selected participants will receive compensation ranging from $825 to $2,325+, depending on the role and significance of the story to the project. All travel expenses for filming will be covered if travel is required.

This campaign will highlight inclusivity, representation, and real stories while spreading awareness. Filming will take place in Vancouver, with casting in both Vancouver and Toronto. Travel and accommodations will be provided for Toronto-based talent.
