Kathleen Howell Casting is seeking non-union performers for an upcoming commercial campaign for the Automobile Insurance Rate Board (AIRB). The production is casting two lead roles for a comedic commercial centered around a casual lunch conversation between coworkers. Casting directors are looking for performers with strong improvisational abilities, natural comedic timing, and an authentic, effortless performance style.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray a lead character in a commercial production.
• Participate in auditions and self-tape submissions if selected.
• Perform scripted and improvised dialogue as directed.
• Collaborate with the production team to create a natural comedic tone.
• Attend filming and promotional activities as required.

Charlie

• Playing age: 25–35

Jude

• Playing age: 35–50
• Any gender
• Any ethnicity

Additional Requirements:

• Non-union talent only.
• Strong improvisation skills preferred.
• Quick-witted personality with natural comedic instincts.
• Comfortable performing in a comedy-focused commercial.

Compensation Details

• $500 session fee
• $2,000 buyout
• Usage: 1 year, Alberta only, all media
• Travel expenses covered by production for talent located outside the Calgary area.
