The show sheds light on the challenges that people with disabilities face in an ableist society. Presented by Canada’s top disabled writers and performers, TSW offers a unique blend of irreverent humor and social commentary that both entertains and prompts reflection. The show aims to leave audiences of all backgrounds laughing uproariously while also stirring thought-provoking conversations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform scripted roles in accordance with the show’s satirical and humorous style.
- Collaborate with the production team, including the director, writers, and fellow cast members, to bring the show’s vision to life.
- Attend rehearsals and read-throughs as scheduled.
- Contribute creative input and ideas to enhance character portrayal and comedic delivery.
- Adapt performances based on directorial feedback and evolving scripts.
