Job Details: We seek talented Hispanic women fluent in sign language for an upcoming internal video production. This project aims to celebrate diversity and promote inclusion within our organization. The video will feature a short segment requiring sign language interpretation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform sign language interpretation for a brief script consisting of only two lines.
- Convey emotions, tone, and context effectively through sign language to enhance the video’s message.
- Collaborate with the production team and director to ensure seamless integration of sign language into the video.
Requirements:
- Must be a Hispanic woman, aged 18-40, with proficiency in sign language.
- Demonstrated fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) or a recognized sign language system.
- Ability to express emotions and nuances through sign language effectively.
- Comfortable working on set and taking direction from the director.
- Prior experience interpreting sign language for video or performance is a plus.
Production Date: TBD, one-day commitment between August 28th and September 1st.
Compensation:
- Total compensation: $800.
- A 20% agency fee will be deducted, resulting in a net payment of $640.
- Meals and refreshments will be provided on set.
