Marketing and Proposal Manager

Clark Contractors is a full-service general contractor/construction management company and is a recognized leader in the construction of education, healthcare, hospitality, and industrial spaces.

 

We are seeking an experienced Marketing and Proposal Manager to join our team. Under the direction of the Chief Development Officer, the Marketing and Proposal Manager will develop and manage marketing programs in specific channels, assist with business development, advance brand building, and provide creative support for company needs. A large component of this position is managing the RFQ/RFP process from start to finish, including developing strategy, content, layout, graphics, coordinating with technical staff, and production.

This position is based in our Little Rock headquarters.

Responsibilities:

RFQ/RFP Process

  • Manage the RFP/RFQ process from start to finish, ensuring that all submissions are timely, accurate, and compelling.
  • Develop and produce proposal responses including writing, editing, formatting, and printing.
  • Coordinate with technical staff to gather RFP/RFQ-specific details and information.

Presentations

  • Assist in preparation for project interviews, including team coordination and creation/development of presentation materials.

Promotional Materials

  • Develop and maintain Clark brochures, tradeshow banners, job site signage, advertisements, and other items as needed.
  • Develop infographics and other graphic/visual content/video.
  • Create/maintain asset library.

External Communications

  • Manage external communications such as website content, social media, local publications, etc.
  • Assist with communication projects including press releases, award submissions, and industry surveys.

CRM Database

  • Maintain a CRM database working with Business Development (including development and project data entry).

Strategy

  • Assist in developing and executing a multi-disciplined marketing plan with the Chief Development Officer.
  • Support business development efforts by researching leads, developing strategies for client needs, recognizing significant stakeholders, and identifying emerging trends.

 

Skill Set:

  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong writing, communication, organizational, and graphic skills. 
  • Detail oriented.
  • Able to provide input on marketing strategy, content, layout, schedule and production of marketing materials.
  • Ability to work across multi-disciplined teams.
  • Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity.

 

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of relevant marketing/proposal experience.
  • Experience in the AEC industry is highly desired.
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (lnDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator).
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Working knowledge of website design and content management (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Cosential CRM database a plus.

Compensation Details:

  • Ultra-low-budget rates in accordance with ULB guidelines. Specific rates will be provided upon offer.
