In order to support our growth, we are currently looking for a Creative Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Director of the creative studio
  • Managing a team of Art Directors & Graphic Designers
  • Chief architect of the creative concept and lead facilitator of the ideation process
  • Setting the creative direction for all campaigns and programming
  • Day-to-day collaboration with strategists and account teams
  • Supervisor of the creative process
  • Ensuring that all projects are innovative, adhere to brand standards, and exceed client expectations
  • Presenting creative concepts to clients
  • Collaborating with printers, videographers, photographers and other partners to bring creative vision to life

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Minimum 6-10 years of experience leading creative teams in an agency environment
  • Expertise in experiential and digital marketing
  • Expert in crafting 360° immersive experiences
  • Natural storyteller
  • Ability to package creative concepts into presentations in a compelling manner
  • Graphic design & creative copywriting
  • Strong written and oral presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate the creative vision to art directors and graphic design team
  • Ability to lead projects from concept to production (from render to real)
  • Maintain a global vision and business operating standards
  • Ability to forge trusted relationships with clients and partners

Responsibilities vary by role and may include production planning, camera operation, audio recording, editing, visual effects creation, location support, lighting setup, music composition, and overall production coordination.

Requirements

  • Passion for independent filmmaking and collaborative storytelling.
  • Ability to work effectively within a creative team environment.
  • Relevant experience for the selected crew position is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to contribute to a zero-budget independent production.
  • Availability for production activities in the Greater Toronto Area.
  • Portfolio, reel, or previous experience is considered an asset where applicable.

Compensation Details

  • This is a voluntary, unpaid opportunity.
  • Contributors will receive on-screen credit.
  • Portfolio and reel footage access may be provided.
  • Festival submission credits where applicable.
  • Meals and snacks may be available on shoot days.
  • Opportunity to gain collaborative experience on a cinematic independent production.
