With a focus on 360-degree brand building, including TTL advertising, PR, ambassadors, sponsorship and customer activation, we cover all bases. Purpose of the role:
To drive the awareness and understanding of Betway Sports and its associated products in the global market to the media and consumers in order to build stronger engagement with the brand.
You will be responsible for:
- The development and implementation of the PR strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media and fulfilling paid for media opportunities on behalf of the Marketing team.
- Developing the global strategic approach to Consumer PR to generate global brand awareness
- Supporting in the adaptation and localisation of the global strategy for local markets
- Working closely with other channels in the Brand Marketing team to create and deliver accurate, on brand sports information and communications
- Working with the multi-channel teams and key media partners to ensure media opportunities are maximised
- Regular interaction with the media, including serving as spokesperson for interviews surrounding key sporting events
- Leveraging existing media relationships and cultivate new relationships with key business journalists and industry media
- Identifying potential strategic partner relationships
- The identification of globally relevant media outlets to deliver coverage across target media channels, in accordance with the global marketing objectives
- Achieving highest visibility for in print, broadcast, TV, and online media outlets
- Responding to media requests for information related to events such as statistical records or historical information
- Attending and supporting relevant fixtures and events out of hours and to manage media opportunities and presence on the day
- Coordinating global public relations activities
- Managing agency output and relationships as well as supporting local requirements
- Creating content for press releases, by-line articles and keynote presentations
- Monitoring, analysing and communicating PR and program results against business goals on a regular basis
- Chairing multiple stakeholder meetings

You will have (Essential skills):
- Experience in strategic communication within the UK media industry
- Management experience in a media, sporting, commercial or public relations environment
- Record of managing campaigns for a customer driven business
- Project management skills
- Consumer awareness
- Ability to strategically lead and influence stakeholders
- All behavioural competencies are also essential

- Educated to degree level with a qualification in Marketing
- Knowledge and passion for sports
- Knowledge and passion for betting industry
- Additional language skills would be advantageous
- Management experience in a media, sporting, commercial or public relations environment
