To qualify for this role, you have extensive experience building scalable and performant web applications and mobile apps with progressive experience as a leader. You need to have experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product with strong technical acumen in addition to user experience proficiency.Â
You understand web and mobile app technology well, and you have designed, built, and maintained high volume, mobile first, consumer facing web applications (mobile web and app). You have agile experience, participating in the Agile ceremonies and delivering User Stories. Ideally, you have been involved in re-architecture and multi-product integration initiatives as well as building new products and dashboards from scratch.Â

What you will do as a Senior Technical Product Manager:Â

As the Technical Product Manager, Senior for Snap OS, you will drive the product strategy and next stage of growth as we continue to evolve our SaaS solutionÂ

Own and be responsible for understanding customer needs and delivering some of our most strategic technical projects, and have a significant bottom-line impact on our business and competitive positionÂ

 Evaluate product/feature design & architecture, customer needs, and technical solutionsÂ

Gather requirements from a diverse set of internal customers owning different apps and technical teams with distinct needsÂ

You will focus on evaluating and documenting needs, scoping technical solutions, identifying risks, and clearly communicating goals and milestones to business and technical stakeholdersÂ

Dig into data and solve complex challenges in the user journey, remaining customer-centric in spirit and in execution in all aspects of your workÂ

Lead meetings with technology and design teams such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog estimating.Â

Articulate product requirements to developers and assist with the management of the software development processÂ

Develop and track success metrics, ensuring the team is clear on their objectivesÂ

Conduct and/or utilize market research, competitive analysis, work with clients and internal stakeholders to help define new opportunitiesÂ

 Required Experience and Skills:Â

5+ years in a technical product management role that includes building and launching technology-based products including evaluating product/feature design & architecture, customer needs, and technical solutionsÂ

Experience developing/launching products/technologies within one or more of the following: Cloud, SaaS, enterprise, internal tools, and/or complex, multi-app programsÂ

Experience in internet technologies (such as CSS, JavaScript, SQL)Â

You have a technical background that enables you to understand technical requirements, work with engineering leaders to plan and execute work, read and understand API documentationÂ

You are savvy at influencing without authority to get cross-functional buy-inÂ

Experience managing complex businesses, solving technical challenges, and influencing key partner teams to drive initiatives to completionÂ

Ability to roll up sleeves in a startup environmentÂ

Experience with subscriptions and/or digital services businessÂ
