Description

Christopherson Travel, a globally recognized leader in corporate travel management, is looking for a Senior Art Director to join our Design team. This position will collaborate closely with product, development, and marketing teams in agile delivery cycles to maximize the consistency, usability and overall quality of our mobile and desktop apps. This position will also be integral in developing and launching new brand assets and will support the sales and marketing groups in ongoing efforts to keep existing customers and win new business. The scope of this position could include long whiteboard sessions with the product and UX teams, designing new screens for desktop and mobile apps, concepting and designing tradeshow booths, or a new website design. Our team is nimble and entrepreneurial, right in the middle of developing refreshed and all-new apps for our corporate travel clients and redesigning our core brand.

Responsibilities

  • Flexibly concept and design for both digital and traditional print deliverables, e.g., desktop and mobile apps, email, social, and websites, sales and marketing collateral, print ads, outdoor ads, tradeshow booths
  • Help to define and design for an evolving corporate brand
  • Contribute to and curate a UI design system for online and mobile products to ensure consistent interactions and a shared visual language
  • Work closely with UX, Product, Development and other groups to find solutions for complex interaction and visual design problems
  • Play an influential role in designing mobile and desktop versions of new products, including designing mobile-only features
  • Build rapid prototypes for user testing
  • Collaborate with, inspire and mentor other teams on best design practices while working with them to create new deliverables
  • Work with customers and product owners directly to understand and improve customer experiences

Requirements

  • A degree in a design-related field
  • 7+ years of demonstrable experience in print and digital design
  • Rapid prototyping experience (Sketch, InVision, Figma)
  • Strong understanding of UI and UX design principles and best practicesStrong verbal and written communication skills
  • Fearless, innovative self-starter who will get their hands dirty
  • Ability to work in a fluid team where projects can change quickly, and iteration is constant
  • Ability to work a full time in office schedule

Salary Range: $100,000+ annually based on experience

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by several factors that may include but are not limited to interdepartmental equity, candidate experience, skills, education and training, location, licenses, and certifications or needs of the organization. Full time roles will also qualify for our total benefits package offered by Christopherson Business Travel.
