Sweety High Media is seeking an experienced Director of Brand Partnerships to join our fast-growing Gen Z agency, Digital Futures. The right candidate will have significant experience leveraging culture-first strategies across platform, content, creator and experiential sales to source and grow high value accounts in key verticals.

This role requires a strong entrepreneurial spirit and the proven ability to hit personal revenue targets, educate clients and optimize tactics to produce results in a fast-paced environment. Digital Futures is a highly differentiated creative and growth agency powered by the leading Gen Z media platform, Sweety High. As a culture leading platform, we work with the top studios, brands and artists to deliver the authenticity this generation requires in a DTC economy.

ROLE

● Develop and implement thought-leading sales strategies and programs, working directly with our senior leadership team, to deliver MOM pipeline and revenue growth.

● Create opportunities through prospecting and responding to incoming interest for both client direct and agency led deals that capitalize on our award-winning creative team and one-of-a-kind growth engine.

● Activate your relationships and book of business to onboard new clients while creating a strong category-specific plans for expanding Digital Futures market reach.

● Identify and activate key strategic partners to increase deal flow by leveraging our Gen Z expertise, large audience and ability to deliver this coveted demo.

● Effectively evangelize the Digital Futures value proposition through proposals and presentations to clients that both inform and inspire.

● Demonstrate the ability to open relationships, gain trust, pitch and win multi-pronged, high value deals that provide clear client ROI with executives and C-suite buyers.

● Work closely with our Brand Marketing and Production teams to develop materials for sales proposals and customize offers with a clear understanding of COGS and market value.

● Consistently educate yourself about Gen Z, the DTC economy and culture trends to be one of the ‘smartest people’ in any room.

● Employ critical thinking and problem-solving skills to diagnose what the potential business opportunities are with any client and then deliver the appropriate solution.

● Develop and grow an ambitious market positioning for Digital Futures with the ability to both consistently break new business and grow the value of existing clients.

● Educate the market about our business on social media and through speaking engagements as it relates to this generation, the creator economy and what is required to succeed DTC.

● Utilize an integrated relationship with marketing, production and growth teams, from pitch to wrap, to manage clients’ relationships with a clear understanding of data, performance, timing and partners satisfaction.

● Solution focused, positive, team playing, practical problem-solving personality is a must.

● Excellent understanding of agency dynamics and the ability to track the full lifecycle of any

campaign or relationship.

REQUIREMENTS

● 6+ years’ experience selling six and seven figure deals in a media, entertainment and/or direct to consumer environment.

● Strong relationships with clients and agency buyers in verticals that could include Entertainment, CPG, Technology, Sports, Automotive and Lifestyle.

● Proven ability to create and develop long term client partnerships by influencing executives, senior management and key industry stakeholders.

● A passion for, and deep understanding of, best in class creative and the mechanics of earning market share. Will need to share examples of work that they have been involved in that represents this in practice.

● Willingness to learn, investigate and strategize with excellent research skills. Examples of studies and methodologies used in the past will be discussed as part of the interview process.

● Professional communication style with strong written and presentation skills. Examples of previous and recent presentations will be required.

● Understanding of the core metrics of the modern social and digital ecosystem.

● Priority Program Proficiencies: Excel, Keynote, Google Suite, social platforms.

● Knowledge of youth culture and Gen Z a plus.

● 4-year college degree, focus in Business and Communications preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Assistant Videographer/Editor position requires skills in a high-volume production environment specializing in the final storytelling of a project. This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the filming and editing process for company video projects.  This position requires a diverse knowledge of industry standard types of cameras and production equipment along with basic Avid editing skills.  They will work closely with the Producers, Videographers and Editors on staff to ensure projects are completed on time and with the highest technical and aesthetic standards. They are responsible for maintaining the company’s production assets and working with the department production calendar so that equipment is ready for each project.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Support production staff with variety of projects using production gear including various models of cameras, lenses, tripods, and other gear related to shooting.
  • Work with Production team to build sets for production needs.
  • Assist with general duties.
  • Maintaining production equipment before and after projects.
  • Coordinate the tracking of all production assets.
  • Assist with research and ordering of equipment.
  • Support with reporting and tracking maintenance and repairs of production equipment.
  • Ingest media into company’s archiving system and prepare media for Editors.
  • Log footage and edit basic to intermediate level projects.
  • Operate additional cameras as needed for production needs including live events.
  • ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

 

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Degree Required: Minimum college or trade school experience in production or similar field..
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of practical field experience working in multiple aspects of film and video production.
  • Color grading at intermediate level.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

  • Thorough understanding of fishing, hunting, and other outdoor skills as required to best work with production team in outdoor recreation company.
  • Strong work ethic. Outgoing personality with ability to interact within group of creative individuals in a dynamic and constantly changing environment. Willingness to react with short notice to changes in daily routine.
  • Willing to travel as required – often locations require extensive driving and multiple night stays with early and late hours.
  • Strong communication skills – able to understand direction and make themselves understood when communicating objectives for accomplishing story lines or goals of a production.
  • Thorough knowledge of Avid non-linear editing systems, specifically the Avid Media Composer or similar.
  • Strong working knowledge of various codecs, containers and file types used in today’s media environment.
  • Able to work within a team environment including in the field or studio and in the post process, editing and finishing.
  • Able to lift and carry heavy equipment in variety of terrain and conditions from very hot to very cold.
  • Good driving record, able to secure Missouri Operator’s License Class E.
  • Good organizational skills: able to keep multiple projects balanced at any one time
  • Strong video resume required.  This resume should demonstrate samples from all of the areas mentioned above.

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 25-30%
