Executive Producer – Technical and Creative Services
The Special Event Company is seeking an experienced Executive Producer of Technical & Creative Services to join our growing dynamic team. The Executive Producer will be responsible for leadership and oversight of client communication projects for live, virtual and studio productions. From the project’s inception to implementation, they will review and consult with stakeholders to offer advice, assign tasks, and ensure project cohesion and delivery for technical and creative services. The position requires experience supporting client communications (conferences, meetings, webinars, webcasts and video production) and proficiency in the industry landscape, aware of current trends, vendors and best practices for delivering outstanding and effective communications.
Executive Producer
● Help plan and execute the events: brainstorm ideas, develop event plan, and project timeline for projects
● Successful client communication across all event types
● Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders such as clients, presenters, technical crew, designers and external vendors
● Define objectives, outcomes and deliverables for communication projects
● Manage, organize and communicate project logistics and details to team members and staff
● Work with Producers and Coordinators to implement timeline with regular meetings/communications
● Recommend and institute operational changes to increase efficiency and quality and/or decrease costs
● Experience with live event production and how to create engaging experiences and show design
● Manage and direct internal & external teams to support the delivery of event or communication including:
● Production Partners and Technical Service Providers
● Venue & Studio Team
● Content Creators/Designers/Video Production
● All External Vendors
● Audit all client communications/touch points to ensure alignment with scope and goals
Technical and Creative Services
● Manage and execute events, including ownership of event production (both in-studio and in-person)
● Oversee production needs across entire book of business: Including Live, Studio, Virtual, Video Production and Post-production
● Recommend vendors, contractors and technology for the type of work that is needed
● Maintain lists of resources to fulfill scope of work for production
● Update scope of work in real-time with changes
● Develops RFP/RFQ for technical and creative services vendors
● Direct & Show Call live and in-studio events including video productions
● Technical scripting development for show calling and in-studio projects
● Oversee deliverables such as content, CAD, renderings, scripting, production schedule
● Review content created to ensure alignment with client communication goals and brand
● Manage and direct onsite team during live events
● Manage and direct studio team for client facing events/filming
● Creative/Art Direction
● Lead overall direction and design for live events, content development and creative assets
● Manage all external designers, editors, graphic artists on the direction and delivery of creative
● Communicate to client and stakeholders high level concepts and vision
● Develop project timelines and lead times needed for creative service development
● Manage budgets for projects and keep alignment with scope throughout
● Maintain communication with key stakeholders and feedback to creative team
● Work with sales and business development to ideate on solutions for projects and proposals
Account Management
● Support proposal development and education to deliver the right solutions for customers
● Meet with clients to evaluate needs and clearly communicate our value proposition
● Manage/create assets for ideations including strategy development, copywriting, event design, ideation
● Develop presentations (renderings, mood boards, etc.)
● Present with the team to communicate ideas to clients and prospects

Preferred additional software experience:
● Adobe Creative Suite (basic Graphic Design proficiency)

● Technical Drafting: 2D CAD designs used for production design (basic weight and point calculations for safe rigging design)

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Videographer/Editor position requires skills in a high-volume production environment specializing in the final storytelling of a project. This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the filming and editing process for company video projects. This position requires a diverse knowledge of industry standard types of cameras and production equipment along with basic Avid editing skills. They will work closely with the Producers, Videographers and Editors on staff to ensure projects are completed on time and with the highest technical and aesthetic standards. They are responsible for maintaining the company’s production assets and working with the department production calendar so that equipment is ready for each project.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Support production staff with variety of projects using production gear including various models of cameras, lenses, tripods, and other gear related to shooting.
- Work with Production team to build sets for production needs.
- Assist with general duties.
- Maintaining production equipment before and after projects.
- Coordinate the tracking of all production assets.
- Assist with research and ordering of equipment.
- Support with reporting and tracking maintenance and repairs of production equipment.
- Ingest media into company’s archiving system and prepare media for Editors.
- Log footage and edit basic to intermediate level projects.
- Operate additional cameras as needed for production needs including live events.
- ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Degree Required: Minimum college or trade school experience in production or similar field..
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of practical field experience working in multiple aspects of film and video production.
- Color grading at intermediate level.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
- Thorough understanding of fishing, hunting, and other outdoor skills as required to best work with production team in outdoor recreation company.
- Strong work ethic. Outgoing personality with ability to interact within group of creative individuals in a dynamic and constantly changing environment. Willingness to react with short notice to changes in daily routine.
- Willing to travel as required – often locations require extensive driving and multiple night stays with early and late hours.
- Strong communication skills – able to understand direction and make themselves understood when communicating objectives for accomplishing story lines or goals of a production.
- Thorough knowledge of Avid non-linear editing systems, specifically the Avid Media Composer or similar.
- Strong working knowledge of various codecs, containers and file types used in today’s media environment.
- Able to work within a team environment including in the field or studio and in the post process, editing and finishing.
- Able to lift and carry heavy equipment in variety of terrain and conditions from very hot to very cold.
- Good driving record, able to secure Missouri Operator’s License Class E.
- Good organizational skills: able to keep multiple projects balanced at any one time
- Strong video resume required. This resume should demonstrate samples from all of the areas mentioned above.
