Digital Content Producer- Full Time
WFMJ-TV has an immediate opening for a highly motivated digital content producer. We are looking for someone who will take charge, not wait to be told what to do. Serious candidates will demonstrate a superior knowledge of both local news and social media practices to keep users engaged in our content. This position will aid in transitioning the newsroom to a multi-platform operation. Responsibilities include: generating and writing original local news content, communicating with field crews to access and upload important video and stills, branding images on social sites with our logo, scouring the internet for non-local stories that will engage users, generating photo galleries, push alerts, live streams and more. We are looking for a passionate journalist who is a creative, self-starter who can produce content across multi-platforms and take our online initiatives to the next level.
