Production Title: Phiphen Studios

Role/Position: Online Editor (Full-Time)

Job Location: Englewood Cliff, New Jersey

Job Description: Works with clients, producers, and engineers to execute workflows for various long- and short-term projects.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Ingest client’s media for dailies transcode and archival.
  • Conform and occasionally color long and short projects from the camera negative and various sources.
  • Work closely with operations to make sure all schedules and scope are accurate
  • Review and ensure that all elements meet technical requirements
  • Work unsupervised and supervised with clients
  • Able to handle basic VFX work: shadow removal, masking split screens
  • Execute deliverables
  • Communicate on progress and completion of each project.
  • Train on equipment upgrades and new procedures.

Experience/Skills Required

  • At least five years of experience is needed in a post-production finish environment.
  • Understanding of production and post-production techniques and terms such as file formats, codecs, workflows, transcoding, and deliverables.
  • Experience with LTO Archiving
  • Experience with HDR
  • Experience in confirming color correction and finishing deliverables for long and short-form projects.
  • Working knowledge of OSX, Windows, Resolve, Colorfront, Premier, Avid, Final Cut, and After Effects.
  • Knowledge of Dolby Atmos is a plus

Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work: 

  • This position is standard business hours. At times may require long hours or weekend work.

A new production is assembling a skilled and reliable film crew across multiple cities for upcoming shoots. Roles are open for Production Assistants, Camera Operators with drone experience, and Audio Technicians. Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the production team to execute shoot-day operations

  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of gear, locations, and production zones

  • Operate cameras or drones to capture high-quality footage (Cam Ops)

  • Record clean, crisp audio on set using professional equipment (Audio Techs)

  • Maintain a professional, on-time presence throughout production days

Requirements

  • Previous on-set experience in your applied role

  • Ability to travel to one of the listed production cities

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude

  • For Cam Ops: drone experience and access to drone kit

  • For Audio Techs: own audio kit

Compensation

  • Production Assistant: $220/12

  • Camera Operator/Drone: $650/12 + $150 drone kit fee

  • Audio Technician: $650/12 + $300 kit fee
