Civil CAD Drafter/Survey Coordinator

Location: Chesterfield, MO

Pay: $45,000 to $58,000 DOE

Job Summary:

As a Civil CAD Drafter/Survey Coordinator you will play a vital role in assisting our engineering and design teams by producing accurate and detailed technical drawings and plans. Collaborating closely with engineers, project managers, and fellow drafters, you will contribute to the creation of well-crafted design documents that adhere to industry standards and effectively communicate project requirements. Your proficiency in drafting software and strong attention to detail will be essential in supporting our mission to provide cutting-edge design solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with project engineers, designers, and surveyors to understand project specifications and requirements.
  • Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other drafting software to create detailed civil engineering drawings and plans, including site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadways.
  • Ensure that drawings adhere to company and industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to incorporate design changes and updates into drawings.
  • Review and cross-check drawings for accuracy and completeness before finalization.
  • Assist in the preparation of construction documents, technical reports, and other project-related documentation.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records of drawings and project files.
  • Communicate and coordinate with other team members to ensure consistent and effective drafting processes.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices related to drafting and design.
  • Participate in project meetings to provide input and contribute to design discussions.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience with survey maps, Boundary and Topographic maps
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
  • Solid understanding of civil engineering principles and drafting techniques.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on producing accurate and high-quality drawings.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with project stakeholders and team members.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Familiarity with GIS software is a plus.

Level: Jr.-Mid-Level Organizational Change Partner

Location: Renton, WA (preferred) or Portland, OR or Irvine, CA

Hybrid (mostly from home, but 1-2 days/month on site needed), M-F, 40 hrs/week

JOB OVERVIEW

An Internal Communications Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation of internal communications and organizational change strategies. Managing internal communication channels like SharePoint, company websites and emailing campaigns, writing copy for company newsletters or memos and adhering to a company’s brand and policies.

  • Review and record requests for change (RFCs)
  • Categorize change requests
  • Prioritize changes according to business objectives
  • Manage the transition of changes from the development team to operations
  • Coordinate the building, testing, and implementation of changes
  • Mediate conflicts related to the change where necessary
  • Draft corporate newsletters and speeches following organizational changes
  • Create and circulate the change schedule
  • Write letters, interdepartmental memos and other business correspondence
  • Conduct Post Implementation Reviews (PIRs) after the implementation of changes
  • Maintain all change documentation (policies, procedures, templates, etc.)
  • Produce management reports

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITITES

  • Internal Communications Management experience – minimum 3 years
  • Organizational Change Management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations or related program; or equivalent work experience
  • Relevant work experience in communications, public relations and/or advocacy strategy.
  • Ability to define Process Key Success Factors and KPIs
  • Strong presentation skills. Ability to create Change Management-related documentation and present information to various levels of organization.
  • Experience with SharePoint, and productivity tools.

PREFERRED

  • Change Management Certification (Prosci, CCMP)
  • Relevant experience in Healthcare or Non-Profit Sector strongly preferred

Kelly Engineering has an exciting opportunity for an Audio-Visual Project Manager for a leading entertainment company. As an Audio-Visual Project Manager for our theme park’s Audio, Video, Projection, and Lighting Systems, you will play a crucial role in managing the design and development processes for our theme park attractions and area development site/sound. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, technicians, and vendors, to ensure the successful implementation of cutting-edge audio, video, projection, and lighting systems. Your expertise in project management and technical integration will contribute to delivering awe-inspiring guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end management of audio, video, projection, and lighting system projects for large multi-faceted theme park attractions and area development site/sound, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with creative designers, architects, and technical experts to understand project requirements, technical specifications, and design intent, providing valuable input to optimize system integration.
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to audio, video, projection, and lighting systems for theme park attractions.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, resource allocations, and schedules, effectively communicating project progress to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and liaise with internal teams, external vendors, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of audio, video, projection, and lighting systems.
  • Manage the procurement and installation of equipment, ensuring timely delivery, proper installation, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Oversee testing, commissioning, and fine-tuning of technical systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal performance and guest experience.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting knowledge sharing.
  • Conduct regular inspections and evaluations to identify potential risks, maintenance needs, and opportunities for improvement, and implement appropriate measures.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, safety standards, and industry guidelines throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Audiovisual Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the entertainment industry, with a focus on audio, video, projection, and lighting systems.
  • Strong understanding of audio, video, projection, and lighting systems and their integration within large multi-faceted theme park attractions.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, safety protocols, and regulations related to audiovisual systems.
  • Familiarity with software and hardware systems used in audio, video, projection, and lighting system integration, such as control systems, automation, and digital signal processing.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders, ensuring on-time delivery and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors.
