Have you ever wonder what it would be like to make love with Brad pitt or Jason Statham? Laura Grady has done it, or at least she did it with their photo doubles, during her long career of having sex as a stand-in.

Laura Grady recently spoke with Vulture about her experiences as a stand-in. Grady revealed that Marisa Tomei was beautiful and Brad Pitt was very nice, but that the sex scene she did with Brad Pitt’s body double took over two weeks. I can not even imagine how awkward that must have been. Grady argues that David Fincher is a genius, but pretending to have sex for days got quite old.

“Fight Club was my favorite by far. It was just incredible. There was so much work on that set; it was literally two weeks of just these scenes in bed! You cannot be shy. There was also a body double for Brad Pitt, so we spent two weeks with David Fincher on a set and green-screen, just reenacting all of those sex scenes. I did see Brad Pitt and Helena Bonham Carter throughout the day, but they were never in my scenes — the body doubles did their thing, and then Brad and Helena did their thing. So I never got to interact with Brad, unfortunately. David Fincher is just a master genius. He took so much time with us. He really, really cared about how we looked. And all those scenes — it was the most intricate sex scene I’ve ever done in my life. And it was pretty hard-core. We were all over each other, me and the body double. He wanted us to choreograph it, like a dance. He would come up with these phrases to give you ideas of what he wanted, like, ‘You’re in molasses,’ or ‘You’re in water, it’s streaming.’ And then when you see the movie, it’s just exactly that.”

Grady also explains how comfortable Jason Statham made her feel.

“My most fun moment on set was Crank. Jason Statham made me feel so comfortable. I can’t remember exactly what he said, but I remember telling my husband later — something so charming, like, ‘Don’t worry about it, I got ya, love.’ He didn’t make me feel stupid or naked. And I had to be completely topless, and it was this crazy scene outside with all these background actors. But I was like, ‘This is not a bad day. I’m taking my clothes off for Jason Statham. I’ll be okay today.’ I remember getting the call for Crank 2; Amy Smart requested me and I thought that was really nice. But I was pregnant and couldn’t do it, and I was so upset. But you can’t be a pregnant body-double. It’s a liability.”

Beth’s shocking death on The Walking Dead has caused fans to start a petition to bring her back.

Without a doubt, Sunday night’s mid-season finale of The Walking Dead, was depressing. Beth’s death was intended to make audience member’s cry for hours in their living rooms. But, it looks as though some fans are not ready to accept Beth’s death and have even started a petition to bring Beth back!

According to reports, a user on the petition website change.org has submitted a petition to bring back Beth Greene to The Walking Dead with the hopes of reaching 10,000 signatures, and at the time of writing this article, they only need 374 more.

Here is what petition says:

Beth Greene (played by Emily Kinney) was killed off in the mid-season finale in season 5 of The Walking Dead. Her death was far too soon and the writers threw away the potential of a perfectly good character. Her story wasn’t over. Emily Kinney and her character don’t deserve this. There was so much more to be done with her character and they chose to kill her in a disgusting, unsatifying death that caused more anger and dissapointment than shock and mourning. Beth was a symbol of hope that a lot of women could relate to and see themselves in (especially self-harmers who saw her as someone who overcame their suicidal/depressive feelings). By sloppily killing her it just shows that she was used to further a man’s (Daryl’s) storyline. We realize that the circumstances she dies in are irreverisble, but this is television. Anything is possible. By signing this petition you can at least show your support for Beth. Let’s show Emily Kinney how much we love her and want her back.

Was it too soon for Beth to die?

Beth was definitely a unique character in the bunch, especially for those who have struggled with mental illness. In addition, Beth could have had many more storylines, and could possibly have been a love interest to Daryl. But, according to the executive producer from The Walking Dead, “Beth didn’t die because she was weak; Beth died because she was strong and that’s painful”. The petition also points out that “Beth was a symbol of hope that a lot of women could relate to.” The Walking Dead has a wide range of characters that many of the audience members can emphasize with. Now, that she’s gone will viewers stop watching?

“We realize that the circumstances she dies in are irreverisble, but this is television. Anything is possible.” There is a possibility that producers will bring back Beth Green, especially with a petition with over 10,000 signatures. However, the likelihood of that happening is slim to none. That being said, it is interesting to note that the creator and one of the producers for The Walking Dead, Robert Kirkman revealed that he was against killing Beth off in the TV series:

The Walking Dead Companion Series, reveals their version of Rick Grimes.

Cliff Curtis, from the cancelled TV series, “Gang Related” will lead the cast of the new Walking Dead Companion Series, Walking Dead: Cobalt.

According to reports, The Walking Dead companion series has found their version of Rick Grimes. Cliff Curtis was chosen as the starring role in the new pilot from Robert Kirkman and Dave Erickson.

Cliff Curtis  is a New Zealand actor whose screen roles include Whale Rider, Once Were Warriors, and Blow. His television work includes NBC series Trauma, and Body of Proof, and starring in ABC’s Missing. EthnicallyMāori, his many character roles include having portrayed a range of ethnicities, including Latin American and Arab characters.

The Walking Dead Companion Series, is currently a spin-off from The Walking Dead will feature the same apocalypse as AMC’s flagship show but takes place at a different location.

Curtis will topline the drama and portray Sean Cabrera, a teacher who shares a son with his ex-wife, Andrea. The character is described as a good man trying to do right by everyone in his life. [via]

The female lead in the TV series, the role of Nancy Tomkins, is still being tested in Hollywood. The Nancy Tomkins character is a guidance counselor who works at the school with Sean.

Already cast in the series include Frank Dillane is best known for his role as Tom Riddle in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Alycia Debnam Carey was also featured in Into the Storm earlier this year.

The Original pilot for The Walking Dead would have changed the entire series forever.

When the Walking Dead was in pre-production, it is interesting to note that Robert Kirkman, the creator of The Walking Dead was barely involved in the process. Currently, Kirkman has nearly full creative control over the show, but back in 2006, Robert Kirkman was only interested in bringing The Walking Dead to television. Frank Darabont wrote the original pilot, really pushed the series and even pitched the show to NBC – on a side note, NBC later rejected the series and said the following, “This is awesome. I really love this. Does it have to have zombies in it?”

In the original script for the pilot episode, there was information that was eventually removed from the show. Reddit user InsideMan513 pointed out this exchange when he was reading the original pilot script:

[He (Rick) looks out at the female lying eaten in the street, throws a questioning look to Morgan.

MORGAN: “If they don’t find fresh, they’ll eat one of their own. Take one of the weaker ones.”]

This may not seem like much but, it would have changed the entire concept of the TV series. It would no longer be a fight between survivors and walkers. But, a mission to control walkers and force them to fight themselves. Ultimately, it would allow for survivors to easily survive in the zombie apocalypse. This simple exchange could have also given way to “ultimate zombies” where the zombies that have survived the longest are the strongest zombies.

As Uproxx pointed out it would have never worked:

It certainly would’ve injected more possibilities into the equation, but it might have also taken away from the brilliance of the simple premise. The Walking Dead, after all, is not a show about zombies. It’s a show about people trying to get by in a world overrun by zombies. Walker-on-walker deaths potentially could’ve changed the entire conception.
