Five things you did not know about The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead has a ton of secrets. You may follow all of the casting calls, news updates, and spoiler alerts for The Walking Dead but, there are a ton of things you don’t know about the hit TV series.

Here are five secrets you did not know about The Walking Dead.

1. Fifteen year old Carl stunt double is actually a 31 year old stunt actress.

In a show like The Walking Dead, there are a ton of stunts and dramatic scenes. But while many actors do a lot of the acting, there is a team of highly skilled stunt doubles on deck to handle the dangerous scenes.

While a lot of stunt-doubles look a lot like their actors, Chandler Riggs’ (Carl Grimes) photo double is surprisingly different. 15 year-old Chandler, revealed he has at least three different female stunt doubles. He is currently doubled by a 31-year-old stunt actress named Ashley.

2. Walker meat tastes like…ham

Despite looking like real human flesh, the walkers on the show who are actually lucky enough to eat human meat are actually eating hams soaked in vinegar. In fact, the props department on The Walking Dead, revealed that the rat that Lizzie fed to a walker in Season 4, was a gelatin mold filled with grape jelly.

3. The post-apocalytic world is getting darker

Just like the survivors on the show, the zombies on the show have aged over the five seasons. From the time when the outbreak began to know, Greg Nicotero and his special effects makeup team have been slowly aging the walkers that we see on screen!

Back in Season 1 the walkers had slight decay, but they were not as moldy. Now in Season 5, we are seeing some walkers with much darker skin, looking diseased.

4. A ton of effort is made to make sure we don’t see the zombies breathe.

You may have never noticed this, but because walkers are dead they shouldn’t be visibly breathing. normally this is not much of an issue, until you see a ton of zombie extras walking outside in the cold air.

During shooting for the episode “Pretty Much Dead Already” in Season 2, it was a really cold night which meant that the zombies produced vapor when they breathed out. In post production, the editors had to digitally remove the vapors from the mouths of the walkers to ensure that zombies don’t look like they breathe.

5. All the zombies go through zombie school

If you though it was easy to get a role on The Walking Dead, you are wrong. Actors who play walkers on The Walking Dead have to go through a type of “walker school” to learn to how to walk and move like the walkers in The Walking Dead universe.

You’ll notice how walkers don’t walk around the same each actor has to develop their own their particular type zombie walk.

Why Jennifer Lawrence Was Scared to Play Katniss in Hunger Games

Jennifer Lawrence has history of being extremely friendly and candid on the red carpet or during interviews. But, at the same time she is extremely honest.

During the Producer’s Guild Awards, Jennifer Lawrence presented an award to the CEO of Lionsgate, the studio behind “The Hunger Games” franchise. As she presented the award she was extremely frank.

“Jonn was charged to insure that Suzanne Collins’ “Hunger Games” incredible trilogy of books was respectfully brought to life in four films and it was a … large f—-ing failure!” she reportedly joked.

Earlier in her speech, Jennifer joked about how scared she was to do the presentation.

“I normally say no to this kind of thing on the account of my crippling anxiety and the unbreakable bond between woman and couch,” Lawrence claimed. “But I when I heard it was for Feltheimer, I had to say yes because I just assumed that I was contractually obligated but then when I found out that I wasn’t, I had already picked out this dress.”

Her anxiety was the reason why she chose the role of Katniss Everdeen in Hunger Games

“I was so afraid of signing on to these movies a few years ago because something that size can make or break a career,” Lawrence told the audience. “I put my trust in Lionsgate and they put their trust in me and now I think we have a strong and amazing relationship that I hope lasts until my career dies at 35.”

After three Oscar nominations and one win at the same age most people are graduating college, Jennifer Lawrence’s career is only skyrocketing.

Hacker, Veri is now claiming he has hundreds of private messages and nude photos of pop singer, Taylor Swift.

Earlier this week, Taylor Swift’s official Twitter and Instagram accounts were hacked and taken over by someone who is not Taylor Swift. According to reports she is back in control of her social media, but the hacker tells Gawker that he has obtained private DMs and nude photographs and he is trying to sell them to TMZ.

Yesterday afternoon, Veri (I don’t know his real name, but you can follow him on Twitter) spoke to me via Kik, the instant messaging smartphone app, starting with link to a tweet and a question: “How exciting is this?”

By the time I clicked, the tweet was gone. Veri—whose previous online accomplishments include pretending to be an agent of the Islamic State—claims it was a naked selfie by Taylor Swift censored only with a black bar.

Veri claims to be in possession of “around six” of Taylor’s naked selfies, stripped from a full backup of her iPhone that he downloaded from her iCloud.

Yesterday, Taylor Swift immediately denied that any such pictures exist:

PS any hackers saying they have ‘nudes’? Psssh you’d love that wouldn’t you! Have fun photoshopping cause you got NOTHING.

It seems very hard to believe that Taylor Swift would leave her self open to any scandal. However, hacker Veri has backed up everyone of his claims including previewing private DMs.

The hacker admitted that he had tried contacting Taylor Swift several times in the past to alert her of possible security flaws.

Veri claimed he was able to infiltrate this email account through an “AOL 0day”—a hacker term for a software vulnerability completely unknown to the target. From there, he was easily able to reset Swift’s Twitter, Instagram, and iCloud accounts—if you have someone’s email account, you’ve basically handed yourself a blank check. Veri said he wanted to help Swift before he hijacked her: “I tried contacting Taylor several times regarding her security and she didn’t listen. I wish [she] cooperated with me, I could’ve helped her a lot.”

I highly doubt that TMZ will pay this hacker for the nude photos nor any other private information. TMZ has shied away from obtaining or publishing nude photos and sex tapes…But, you never know.

An upset father killed himself after seing his daughter naked in an issue of Playboy.

Playboy model Loredana Chivu lost her father after he reportedly killed himself after she posed for nude photos in a Playboy magazine.

This was seven years ago, when Chivu was 18 years old and she had a close relationship with her dad.

Then the pictures appeared.

“He stopped speaking to me, he was pretty upset. I thought he would get over it and I never expected he would do something like kill himself,” she said. “When he found out what I had done, he cut himself off from the world and tried to isolate me as well from the rest of the family.”

She has now revealed that when she went to reconcile with him a few months later, after deciding that the dispute had gone on long enough, she was horrified to find he had killed himself.

“I found him hanging from a beam in the attic. I never recovered from the shock of finding him,” she said. “He had not left a suicide note and everybody said that up to the end he seemed cheerful, and it was a complete mystery as to why he would do something like this.” (Via)

Chivu, now 25, fears “that his motivation for killing himself was the fight that they had.” She said, “Even after all this time I find it hard to come up with words to talk about it, it is still too painful.”

Moral of the story? Talk to your family before you start stripping naked in front of a camera.
