Robin Williams’ Daughter Speaks Out About Her Dad’s Suicide.

Following the death of Robin Williams, his daughter has been thrown into the spotlight. Many questioned how the death of her father impacted her and if she was able to see it coming.

In a recent interview, Robin Williams’ daughter, Zelda Williams spoke out about her father’s passing. “People should remember what they want to remember of him. Who am I to guide what their childhood memories are of watching his movies,” Zelda Williams said in an interview with NBC’s Today show. “That’s their memories, that’s what’s important. I have mine and they are mine and I love that.” And they are private and lovely and perhaps very different, but who knows what the difference is. They have their memories. They should enjoy them. They’re not going anywhere. The world, as I said, keeps spinning, but that doesn’t mean that he was never on it.”

Zelda has not asked her self why her father took his own life. “I don’t think there’s a point … It’s not important to ask because it’s [done].” “Diseases are — until we find out exactly how they work, we don’t have an explanation. So there’s no one I can offer,” she added. “A lot of people who have been through it and lost someone, the ones that have been through it and that I’ve found have gone on to lead very full lives have found that they just had to know that there’s no point questioning it. And there’s no point blaming anyone else for it, or there’s no point blaming yourself or the world or whatever the case may be because it happened and you have to continue to move and you have to continue to live and manage.”

Zelda revealed that she is taking it one day at a time. “For me, especially, It’s going to take a lot of work to allow myself to have the sort of fun, happy life that I had, but that’s important,” she said. “Anybody who has ever lost anyone works very hard to continue that memory in a positive way.”

MTV’s ‘Pimp My Ride’ Winners Reveal the Show Was Basically Fake

‘Pimp My Ride’ Winners reveal that the show was basically fake with producers creating fake back stories and adding stuff that didn’t work.

MTV’s ‘Pimp My Ride’ entertained millions of people every week. The showed featured X to the Z Xzibit knocking on people’s doors in an attempt to change a person’s life by “pimping” their ride.

But, according a recent Huffington Post report, the show was basically fake.

Here is a list of what the contestants basically encountered.

1. Additions were made to the cars just for filming then taken away before the car owners drove home.

2. A lot of additions didn’t work after MTV finished filming.

3. A lot of the cars suffered from mechanical malfunctions including one car bursting into flames, although it happened years later.

4. The contestants were forced into showing over the top reactions.

5. Producers made a guy break up with his girlfriend to say he was a pimp.

6. Producers threw candy into one contestant’s car to make fun of him for being overweight.

A lot of the contestants at the end of the day said they enjoyed the experience and they would likely do it again. They also liked hanging out with the host Xzibit. One particular contestant said he asked what Xzhibit doing that weekend and Xzibit said: “he’s going to go down to hell to kill the devil so he can make some Satan skin boots.”

HBOAccess Writing Fellowship: HBO is Looking for Diverse and Emerging Writers

HBO will soon be accepting applications for the HBO Access Writing Fellowship. According to Indiewire, HBOAccess Writing Fellowship is looking for emerging writers from diverse backgrounds to attend a week master class held at the HBO campus in Santa Monica, California. The program will focus on improving writing skills in “character and story development, pitching ideas and projects, securing an agent, and networking”

Each participant that is selected will then enter into an 9-month writing phase where he/she will be paired with an HBO development executive and guided through the script development process.

At the end of the program, HBO will hold a staged reading and reception for industry professionals where the writers will be introduced to the entertainment industry.

“With the success of our first year of the HBOAccess Directing fellowship, we wanted to expand our focus to other areas of the creative process,” said Kelly Edwards, Vice President, HBO Talent Development. “We are looking for emerging writers with a deep passion for storytelling and a unique voice who will want to bring that talent to HBO and Cinemax. In turn, they will be nurtured by some of the best creative executives and showrunners in the business. HBO has a long legacy of supporting writers and we are excited we can begin those relationships at this early stage.”

The HBOAccess Writing Fellowship is open to diverse and female writers 21 and older who must be able to work in the US. Prior to the application, the writer must NOT have been staffed on a network or cable series in excess of 13 episodes and/or had more than one feature film or more than two plays produced.

All submissions must be made through the online portal, Without A Box, and will require a resume, a writing sample, a completed release form and a personal essay in 500 words or less explaining how his/her background has influenced his/her storytelling. Green Ranger Hates the Viral ‘Power Rangers’ Fan Film

The green ranger hates the new fan film of the Power Rangers.

A new short film featuring the popular power rangers has gone viral across the internet featuring James Van Der Beek from Dawson’s Creek kicking butt and torturing the pink ranger. But, one Power Ranger in particular hates the new fan film. According to reports, Jason David Frank, the actor who played the Green Ranger in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series, posted a video to Facebook in which he criticizes the fan film.

“I know there’s a lot of fans out there that love it and all that stuff, but I’m just a PG-13 guy,” Frank said. “The cuss words, the drugs, all this other stuff — it doesn’t fly with me.”

Frank said he was approached to appear in the short, but he declined, as he felt that the new take was too harsh for younger viewers. “The problem is that [Power Rangers is] still connected with adult and kids,” he said. “You can’t take a brand like this and reboot it so dark and gritty.”

Frank is scheduled to appear in the upcoming official Power Rangers feature film, which is scheduled for release in 2016.

Vimeo recently removed the short film after a complaint from Saban Brands, the owner of Power Rangers.

Disney’s ‘DuckTales’ Reboot is coming soon to a living room near you.

Disney is bringing back Scrooge McDuck and the rest of the gang in a new reboot for Disney XD. According to reports, “DuckTales” reboot is set to be launched in 2017.

The original Emmy-winning series aired from 1987-1990 as part of The Disney Afternoon daily cartoon block, and spawned an animated theatrical release in 1990 as well.

The reboot will, like the original, follow McDuck, his grandnephews Huey, Dewey and Louie and Donald Duck as they adventure around the world. Other characters from the original, including Duckworth, Gyro Gearloose, Launchpad McQuack, Flintheart Glomgold, Magica DeSpell and Poe, Ma Beagle and the Beagle Boys (Burger Beagle, Bouncer Beagle), Mrs. Beakley and Webbigail Vanderquack, are also set to return. DuckTales will be shown to a whole new generation. It will be interesting to see how Scrooge saves his money in the market crash of 2008 or the skyrocketing gas prices of 2015.

HBO is ramping up production on a new comedy series, Brothers in Atlanta about a group of struggling entertainers and best friends Langston (Diallo Riddle) and Moose (Bashir Salahuddin) who are trying to navigate relationships and life in the Peach State.

American Sniper: Jury Finds Chris Kyle’s Killer Guilty of Murder

The former Marine has been convicted in the murder of American Sniper author Chris Kyle and Kyle’s friend at a shooting range.

According to reports, a jury has found the former marine guilty of murder and is facing life in prison.

From The Hollywood Reporter:

Jurors returned the verdict Tuesday against Eddie Ray Routh, whose attorneys had mounted an insanity defense and said he suffered from psychosis. Since prosecutors didn’t seek the death penalty in the capital murder case, the 27-year-old receives an automatic life sentence without parole in the deaths of the famed Navy SEAL and Chad Littlefield.

The men had taken Routh out shooting in February 2013 after Routh’s mother asked Kyle to help him. Family members say Routh suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder after serving in Iraq and in Haiti.

Eddie Ray Routh’s murder conviction comes days after the American Sniper was snubbed for ‘Best Actor’ and ‘Best Picture’ at the Academy Awards.

The Diamond Agency is looking for models to work on a hair show in Orlando, Florida. The open casting call will take place on Saturday, February 28th in Orlando, Florida. Casting directors are looking for models ages 18 to 25 and are comfortable with changing their hair.

Once model is selected she would need to be available to stay till about 5pm so that we can prep her hair

Looking for all females. 18 – 25 years old. Models will need to be comfortable with changing their hair (i.e. cut and/or color). We wouldn’t do anything they are not comfortable with. Models under 6 ft. and between size 0-6 for wardrobe.

Rate: $200 for prep day and hair show

Event day: Sunday, 3/1 and we would need her there from 8am-4pm in Kissimmee.

Extras Casting Call

I am currently casting the UNTITLED DENIRO/ EFRON Project this week with Rose Locke Casting.

Looking for hot Spring Breakers 18-35.

These will be multi day recalls.

Before you submit, I need you to know:

  • 1) This shoots on Tybee Island. (Tybee Island is outside the city of Savannah. Savannah is in the state of Georgia… Seriously…) This is a beach scene. You will be in the sun. You might be in the water. You will be in a bathing suit.
  • 2) All day means all day. Calls will be early and go all day long. Make no plans.
  • 3) The rate is $64/8 with OT after 8. (This is NOT $64/ AN HOUR.) We don’t provide transportation or hotels. This is extras work. No studio travels extras. Please for the love of God and all that is holy, do NOT ASK ME THESE QUESTIONS.
  • 4) I WILL NOT KNOW final details until April 25th. I will keep you up to day with a “potential booking” starting next week.
  • 5) YOU MUST BE OVER 18 YEARS OLD.

There are three major scenes being shot:

First Set : April 27-28
Second Set: April 29-30, May 1
Third Set: May 4,5

PLEASE RESPOND: I am available all dates!! (If you are available all dates)

If you are only available certain dates, say “I am available (which set)” – BUT THEY MUST BE CONSECUTIVE. You can’t work just April 29 and Just May 1.

There is a possibility they may want to use you all 7 days (I doubt that, but if you are open, they may want that and recall you from set.
