“Ties That Bind” is MJ Studio’s new upcoming TV Series. It’s a psychological thriller about a young girl and her obsession with revenge.

Jane Marie Brookes (LEAD) (18-23yo)

Ethan Brookes (SUPPORTING) (30-40yo)

·        Hispanic/Anglo between 5’7”-6’1”, hardworking, selfless, smart, goofy, loveable and understanding. Biological father of Jane, step-father of Riley. Ethan is the embodiment of a storybook father.

Serena Monroe-Brookes (SUPPORTING) (30-40yo)

·        Hispanic/Anglo between 5’5”-5’7”, independent, strong-willed, selfless, compassionate, athletic and silly. Biological mother of Riley, step-mother of Jane. Serena is the fun, best friend type mother. Substantial dance background is preferred as this character will be involved in contemporary, ballet, jazz and hip-hop dance performances.

Peter Hart (SUPPORTING) (18-25yo)

·        Caucasian between 5’6”-6’0”, athletic, cocky, sarcastic, funny, outgoing and secretly romantic. Best friend to Riley and Kylie. Jane’s first crush, the one that got away. Substantial dance background is preferred as this character will be involved in contemporary, hip-hop and jazz dance performances.

Kylie Ray Morgan (SUPPORTING) (18-23yo)

·        Caucasian between 5’3’-5’6”, book smart, ditzy, sassy, athletic, fashionable with a loud personality. Best friend to Peter and Riley. Substantial dance background is preferred as this character will be involved in contemporary, hip-hop and jazz dance performances.

Xavier Tanek (SUPPORTING) (21-26yo)

·        Caucasian between 5’6”-6’3”, street smart, athletic, secretive, daring, charming and mysterious. Good-hearted yet willing to step out of line to survive. Experience with kickboxing/martial arts is a plus but not a requirement. Must be in excellent athletic shape as this role will be physically demanding. Must be able to speak in a British accent as this character is from England.

Hugh Alexander (SUPPORTING) (18-25yo)

·        Caucasian between 5’7”-6’0”, vibrant, charming, suave, smart, compassionate, passionate, athletic. Hugh comes from a wealthy family where he was given every advantage. Despite of this, Hugh openly opposes his father’s way of life and wealth. Must be able to speak in a British accent as this character is from England.

Jackson Alvey Fox (SUPPORTING) (18-23yo)

·        Caucasian between 5’7”-6’2”, suave, cunning, persuasive, scheming, manipulative, selfish. Best friends with Hugh, he is the “devil on his shoulder” constantly trying to manipulate him and his decisions. Must be able to speak in a British accent as this character is from England.

Faye Brookes (REOCCURRING) (Late 20s-35yo)

·        Hispanic/Anglo between 5’4”-5’6”, sweet, happy-go-lucky, funny, athletic, understanding and protective. Jane’s biological mother. She is a picture perfect mother, the perfect role model, everything Jane wants to be. Substantial dance background is preferred as this character will be involved in contemporary and ballet dance performances.

Jasper Alexander (REOCCURRING) (50-60yo)

·        Caucasian between 5’5”-6’2”, manipulative, greedy, intelligent, demanding and superficial. Jasper is Hugh’s wealthy businessman/politician father. He is corrupt and rose to the top of Parliament using manipulation and bullying tactics. Must be able to speak in a British accent as this character is from England.

Zara Ivory Fox (REOCCURRING) (18-23yo)

·        Caucasian between 5’4”-5’8”, persuasive, smart, even keeled, athletic and confident. Zara is Jackson’s sister, very go-with-the flow but it’s apparent she has her own ideas the way things should be. Must be able to speak in a British accent as this character is from England.

Lillianne Rose Alexander (REOCCURRING) (40-50yo)

·        Caucasian between 5’5”-5’7”, sweet, kind-hearted, intelligent, loyal and motherly. Lillianne is Hugh’s mother, Jasper’s wife. She is very loyal to her family and would do anything for her son. She appears oblivious to her husband’s business, all the while knowing more than she lets on. Must be able to speak in a British accent as this character is from England.

Victoria Ann Fox (REOCCURRING) (40-50yo)

·        Caucasian between 5’4”-5’8”, apathetic, materialistic, minimalistic parenting. Victoria is the widowed mother of Jackson and Zara. She knows the type of people her children are becoming, yet doesn’t care. Must be able to speak in a British accent as this character is from England.

Mary Castillo (RECCURRING) (35-50yo)

·        Hispanic/Anglo between 5’6”-5’9”, stern, strict, selective, intellectual and demanding. Mary is the high school principal. It is blatantly obvious that she is biased towards the straight ‘A’ students and very disrespectful to all the others.

Mark Brookes (RECCURRING) (25-35yo)

·        Hispanic/Anglo between 5’7”-6’3”, funny, outgoing, athletic, charismatic and crazy. Mark is Ethan’s younger brother and Jane’s “crazy uncle”. He is always the life of the party and center of attention. Mark is never serious and always cracking jokes. His role is to be comedic relief.

Rachel Garza (REOCCURRING) (25-35yo)

·        Hispanic/Anglo between 5’4”-5’7”, smart, athletic, caring, cheery and confident. Rachel is the high school dance instructor. She loves her students and wants what’s best for them. She expects nothing but the best from her students. Substantial dance background is preferred as this character will be involved in contemporary, ballet, jazz and hip-hop dance performances.
