Wendy Williams falls off stage in Houston during her comedy tour.

Wendy Williams was walking across the stage when she misstepped and fell down, but she recovered quickly. “Shut the f- up!” she said after grabbing the microphone. “There’s the fall that never happened. So, put that on YouTube.”

She continued,”Number one, this is like our seventh city on this 12-city comedy tour, for one. Number two, every stage is different. I didn’t see that sh-.”

She mocked her height, as fans recorded her. “I am 12 feet tall,” she said. “But you caught it, right? Did you catch my 51-year-old recovery?”

After the tour, Williams mocked herself on Twitter. “Forgot it’s the ‘Sit Down Tour’ not the fall down tour,” she said.

Steve-O was live-streaming his anti-SeaWorld protest on Facebook before getting arrested.

Steve-O was arrested for climbing a 100-foot crane at a Hollywood construction site on Sunday evening.

LAPD and firefighters were initially unsure whether a man needed to be rescued from the crane but, it was later revealed that it was a publicity stunt and part of his anti-SeaWorld protests.

Steve-O was live streaming the incident on Facebook and had earlier trailed his stunt on Instagram, saying that he was about to do something that would get him in trouble.

This is not the first time Steve-O was arrested. In 2002, Steve-O was arrested on obscenity and assault charges for stapling his scrotum to his leg, and for being a principal to a second-degree battery, during a performance at a nightclub in Houma, Louisiana. In 2003, Steve-O toured Europe with Bam Margera, a friend and co-star of Jackass. On May 22, 2003 Steve-O was arrested and jailed while in Sweden due to footage of himself swallowing a condom containing cannabis to get it past authorities while flying on a plane. He then regurgitated it live on stage, which he showed in his DVD Steve-O: Out on Bail. Two months later, Steve-O was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct for urinating on potato chips in public during a Lollapalooza tour concert.

Steve-O would later get arrested for possession of cocaine and was forced to go to rehab and a mental institution. He said, because “I’ve had horrible mood swings and severe depression. My brain is fucked up from using so much cocaine, ketamine, PCP, nitrous oxide, and all sorts of other drugs.”

Steve-O became famous after the TV series ‘Jackass’ and the spinoff movies.

Brazilian radio host DJ Gleydson Carvalho was shot and killed live on the air.

According to MSN, a Brazilian radio presenter died after being shot five times as he was hosting his lunchtime show on Thursday, August 6th.

A critic against local government corruption, Gleydson Carvalho was murdered after two men forced their way into the studio. The killers subdued a receptionist and ordered a sound engineer to take cover under a table before shooting Carvalho, who was shot three times in the head and twice in the chest.

“They came to the station’s facility and said that they had to make an announcement,” Police Chief Herbert Silva said. “Once they opened the door, they announced it was an assault and asked who was in the audio room. Immediately after, the subject entered [the radio booth] and shot Gleydson three times on the head and twice on the chest.”

The attack took place while music was playing on air and it is understood that Carvalho would frequently receive death threats during live broadcasting.

Police announced that they had arrested two suspects in connection with the killing Francisco Carneiro Portela, 18, and his girlfriend Gisele Sousa do Nascimiento, 23, were arrested at a house 50 miles from Camocim.

Police chief Herbert Ponte said: “The two killers had fled by the time we arrived but we don’t have any doubt that the couple we’ve taken into custody are linked to the crime and the property was used to plan the murder.”

The two men at large have been named as 22-year-old Tiago Lemos da Silva and Jefferson.

A friend of the victim, Autran Santos said that Carvalho never took the death threats seriously. “The most serious threats he received were to do with politics. He said he had enemies because of the accusations he made.”

According to Human Rights Watch, Mr Carvalho is the fourth Brazilian journalist to have been killed this year and says the investigation should take into account that Carvalho was killed for working as a journalist.

“Attacks against journalists for their work threaten freedom of expression and the very fabric of democracy,” said Maria Laura Canineu, Brazil director at Human Rights Watch. “It is crucial for the authorities to ensure full accountability for the killing of Carvalho and other journalists to guarantee that reporters in Brazil can work without fearing for their lives.”

In May, political blogger Evany Jose Metzger who was investigating a child prostitution ring was found hacked up in the state of Minas Gerais.
