Leaked ‘Star Wars: Episode 8’ Photos Go Viral

Leaked Star Wars: Episode 8 photos reveal new mysterious characters.

With all of the recent hype surrounding the Star Wars franchise these photos are expected to go viral overnight.

Episode 8 is shooting right now and there has been many leaked photos from the set. Most of the photos so far have contained a hallway on a planet which looks like Tatooine and a landspeeder blowing nup.

All of the pictures previously were pretty boring and there has been nothing worth talking about until these photos surfaced on Twitter. Have a look:

So who’s that mysterious alien?

There are two different aliens we see in the leaked photos and many people seem to argue that it’s the general of the First Order. But nobody really knows. Another rumor is that the leaked pictures all seem to reference Han Solo’s funeral.

Either way, we will never know until the movie hits theaters a few years from now. Until then, if you are interested in working on the next Star Wars movie, check out the casting calls here.

Watch Which Stunts Were Actually Real in ‘Deadpool’ [Video]

Here’s a breakdown of the stunts from Deadpool

The special FX in Deadpool movie are pretty damn amazing. To accomplish some of those stunts you would actually have to be super human. So how did Hollywood accomplish those spectacular fight scenes?

Well, during the highway fight scene, digital stunt doubles were absolutely necessary. With insane weapons and car chases, it would be dangerous for any actor, stunt double or background extra to complete. Therefore computer generated cars and stunts were the best way to accomplish those amazing scenes.

While many people hated digital effects and enhancing, I think Deadpool did a pretty good job making it work.

Check out the special FX scenes below:

Batman’s Butler Alfred May Be Getting His Own TV Series

0

A new TV series about Batman’s butler maybe coming soon.

Irregardless who plays Alfred in Batman movies, fans seem to love the supportive and mysterious butler.

Batman loves him for raising him and staying loyal throughout years of superhero action. Robin, meanwhile, has traditionally seen him as a father. Even, The Joker has always loved using him as a way to cause Batman pain.

And for us fans? Well, accomplished actors are always cast to play the Butler which allows for their acting talent to creep into our hearts. That popularity for the character has never translated into anything more than just a small supporting role, until now.

According to reports, the folks over at DC have recently trademarked the name “Pennyworth” for what appears to be a new TV series.

With Pennyworth being Alfred’s actual last name, it sure does seem to suggest that we are about to see an Alfred-themed on-screen TV series coming soon.

But, detials beyond that have been scarce. It’s rumored that it might be a Gotham spinoff, a Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice sequel, or a simply a “young-Alfred” prequel story.

It’s worth remembering that studios trademark a lot of names, ideas, and storylines so, this piece of news is not groundbreaking or earth shattering. However, it’s quite possible that this is the early rumblings of a new TV series surrounding the loyal and humble butler.

What do you think, though? What do you think will happen with Pennyworth?

‘Indiana Jones 5’: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

0

Disney is ramping up production on Indiana Jones 5 with Harrison Ford and Steven Spielberg.

For months we’ve heard rumors of a fifth Indiana Jones movie coming soon with a younger lead, rumored to be Chris Pratt, taking over the franchise and replacing Harrison Ford. But today, we learned that we might be getting the best of both worlds.

According to an official Walt Disney Studios press release, Steven Spielberg will once again be working with Harrison Ford following the critical and commercial success of Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens – to create a new Indiana Jones movie.

Indiana Jones

Indiana Jones’ Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall are also signed on to produce the upcoming sequel. According to Walt Disney Studios Chairman Alan Horn, it’s hard to turn down the possibility of a new Indiana Jones movie.

“Indiana Jones is one of the greatest heroes in cinematic history, and we can’t wait to bring him back to the screen in 2019. It’s rare to have such a perfect combination of director, producers, actor, and role, and we couldn’t be more excited to embark on this adventure with Harrison and Steven.”

The fifth film follows a successful franchise including Raiders Of The Lost Ark(1981), its prequel Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom (1984) and the sequel Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade (1989), and most recently Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull (2008). Altogether, the franchise has earned nearly $2 billion worldwide.

Harrison is going to take us on another amazing and wild ride through anthropology, history, action and adventure. The new movie’s release is expected to hit theaters in 2019.

Are you excited to see Harrison Ford return for another Indiana Jones movie?

Sally Field Hated Her Role in ‘The Amazing Spider-man’

Actress Sally Field apparently hated her role in The Amazing Spider-Man

In the beginning The Amazing Spider-Man reboot had many people loving the reimagining of everyone’s favorite superhero but, as time passed everyone seemed to turn their back on the comic book character. And it turns out Spider-Man fans were not the only ones. Although the movie does a good job trying to create a background story for Peter Parker as a more human character, there’s one actress who desperately hated the movie.

In a recent interview with Howard Stern, Sally Field reported how one dimensional the character was and this made it hard to work with in front of the camera. You can listen to the full interview below:

Sally Field explained to Howard Stern that she had only did the movie as a favor to the movie’s producer Laura Ziskin. Sally then went on to explain what went wrong.

“It’s really hard to find a three dimensional character in it, and you work it as much as you can, but you can’t put ten pounds of shit in a five pound bag.”

Those are some pretty harsh words from the former Aunt May, but it does explain a lot of things. The character of Aunt May was there to be a support system for Peter in his most desperate moments. We can all agree on that, but of course when Aunt May is reduced to just a character used for comedic relief, then you have a problem. It can presumably be agreed upon in the comic book community that Aunt May’s character was not explored in that much detail in The Amazing Spider-Man as much as it should have been, which probably explains the recent reboot of the Spider-Man franchise.

marvel-releases-new-set-of-high-resolution-images-for-captain-america-civil-war-884597

Tom Holland will be playing the new Spider-Man and yes, we will have a new Aunt May. The latest actress expected to play Aunt May is Marisa Tomei and it’s rumored that she might also appear in Civil War as well.

Here’s to hoping that Aunt May’s character is explored a little bit more and has a major part in Peter’s story, rather than facing the same problems Sally Field did, and falling into a one dimensional character.

What did you think of Sally Field in The Amazing Spider-Man?

‘The Walking Dead’ Ratings Hit Season Low

0

The Walking Dead’s Sunday night cable ratings hit season low.

The Walking Dead is the most watched TV show in the country and with one of the biggest seasons in recent history, it’s a little surprising to see ratings for the zombie-drama hit a season low.

According to TVByTheNumbers, ratings for The Walking Dead have dropped.

“The Walking Dead” dipped a little bit on Sunday, hitting a season low in adults 18-49 with a 6.0 rating (which was still by far the biggest 18-49 rating of the day, cable or broadcast).

Despite the season low ratings, The Walking Dead is still the most watched TV show with over 12.5 million viewers and a 6.0 in the 18 to 49 demographic, which destroys the competition.

And all of that is good news for a TV show that’s about to reveal their biggest villain in an upcoming episode.

The Walking Dead has changed and evolved over the past six years. The apocalyptic horror drama TV series was developed by Frank Darabont and is based on the comic book series of the same name created by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard. The Walking Dead centers around Andrew Lincoln who plays sheriff deputy Rick Grimes who awakens from a coma to find a apocalyptic world dominated by flesh-eating zombies. He then sets out to find his family and encounters the survivors along the way.

Asian Oscar Winners Protest ‘Racist Stereotypes’ from The 2016 Academy Awards

0

Asian Oscar winners are not too happy with the 2016 Academy Awards.

In the long and laborious fight against racial inequalities in the entertainment industry, Asian groups often get left out of the conversation. A new report from Variety notes a letter penned by Ang Lee and a host of other Asian Oscar winners from the documentary, short-form and technical branches expressing frustration with the “racist stereotypes” on display in the Oscar telecast from two weeks ago and demand for the Academy to be more respectful moving forward.

The letter carefully asserted the signees’ disappointment with the organization:

“We are writing as Academy members of Asian descent to express our complete surprise and disappointment with the targeting of Asians at the 88th Oscars telecast and its perpetuation of racist stereotypes. In light of criticism over #OscarsSoWhite, we were hopeful that the telecast would provide the Academy a way forward and the chance to present a spectacular example of inclusion and diversity. Instead, the Oscars show was marred by a tone-deaf approach to its portrayal of Asians.

“We’d like to know how such tasteless and offensive skits could have happened and what process you have in place to preclude such unconscious or outright bias and racism toward any group in future Oscars telecasts. We look forward to hearing from you about this matter and about the concrete steps to ensure that all people are portrayed with dignity and respect.”

Though the letter does not make specific references, readers can assume the signees are referring to a bit from Chris Rock in which he introduced the Oscar accountants charged with adding up the votes, only for little kids to walk out, playing into stereotypes about Asian kids being super mathematicians.

It’s particularly surprising that the Academy would use such low level jokes during a ceremony centering around diversity and including, following all the embarrassment over the #OscarsSoWhite controversy.

I guess it’s just another mistake in a long history for the organization that is frequently labeled as just another racist institution.

Hacker Pleads Guilty to Celebrity “Fappening” Hacks

0

Hacker pleads guilty to the celebrity “Fappening” hacks.

Ryan Collins of Pennsylvania will plead guilty to violating the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act as part of the celebrity iCloud hack known as “The Fappening” by the guys over at 4chan and Reddit. He now faces up to five years in prison.

But according to reports, Collins will serve far less than five years in prison. The feds say “parties have agreed to recommend a prison term of 18 months,” although “that recommendation will not be binding on the sentencing judge.”

So how did Ryan Collins hack into all of those celebrity accounts? It was completed through a hacking technique called “phishing”.

Phishing is the attempt to acquire sensitive information such as usernames, passwords, and credit card details (and sometimes, indirectly, money), often for malicious reasons, by masquerading as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication.

Once armed with a celebrity’s email and password, the feds say Collins downloaded complete backups of their iPhones.

It interesting to point out that the Depart of Justice does not say if Collins actually leaked the photos onto the Internet.

According to factual basis in the plea agreement, from November 2012 until the beginning of September 2014, Collins engaged in a phishing scheme to obtain usernames and passwords for his victims. He sent e-mails to victims that appeared to be from Apple or Google and asked victims to provider their usernames and passwords. When the victims responded, Collins then had access to the victims’ e-mail accounts.

After illegally accessing the e-mail accounts, Collins obtained personal information including nude photographs and videos, according to his plea agreement. In some instances, Collins would use a software program to download the entire contents of the victims’ Apple iCloud backups.

The charge against Collins stems from the investigation into the leaks of photographs of numerous female celebrities in September 2014 known as “Celebgate.” However, investigators have not uncovered any evidence linking Collins to the actual leaks or that Collins shared or uploaded the information he obtained.

Many of Collins’ victims were members of the entertainment industry in Los Angeles. By illegally accessing the e-mail accounts, Collins accessed at least 50 iCloud accounts and 72 Gmail accounts, most of which belonged to female celebrities.

Jennifer Lawrence, Gabrielle Union, Kate Upton and Ariana Grande were just a few of the women in Hollywood whose personal photos were put on the Internet for the masses to enjoy.

Jennifer Lawrence told Vanity Fair in a November 2014 article that the invasion of privacy was more than a scandal — it’s a sex crime.

“The law needs to be changed, and we need to change,” she said in the cover story. “Just the fact that somebody can be sexually exploited and violated, and the first thought that crosses somebody’s mind is to make a profit from it.”

0

A “human skull” was allegedly found on Mama June’s property.

It’s pretty surprising that Here Comes Honey Boo Boo keeps trying to make a return as a reality star but if it pays the bills, then why not.

TMZ reports that police were brought to June’s recently bought investment property in Griffin, GA to investigate a potential human skull that was found on the property.

The Griffin Police Dept tells us the workers found a long abandoned water well on the property … and after scoping it with a cell phone tied to a rope … believe they saw the remains of a human skull.

June was not on the property at the time … but was notified by the workers after they called police.

Cops say they scoped the well with their own video equipment … and believe the object is a rock, but say they’re going to return in the morning with a cadaver sniffing dog, just to be safe.

Fingers crossed it’s just a rock.

New Feature No Body Wants is Coming to Instagram

This new Instagram feature is changing everything.

In a press release released this afternoon, Instagram announced that it was going to start moving away from a chronological timeline. Instead, the photo sharing social network that users love for it’s simplicity will, in the next few months, move toward an algorithm-based approach that will reportedly share the posts that mathematically seem the most important to the top of your news feed sort of like Facebook, which nobody really likes.

Absolutely no one on Instagram was asking for this change. So why did they make this change? Well, Instagram thinks otherwise…

Instagram has grown, it’s become harder to keep up with all the photos and videos people share. This means you often don’t see the posts you might care about the most.

To improve your experience, your feed will soon be ordered to show the moments we believe you will care about the most.

The order of photos and videos in your feed will be based on the likelihood you’ll be interested in the content, your relationship with the person posting and the timeliness of the post. As we begin, we’re focusing on optimizing the order — all the posts will still be there, just in a different order.

If your favorite musician shares a video from last night’s concert, it will be waiting for you when you wake up, no matter how many accounts you follow or what time zone you live in. And when your best friend posts a photo of her new puppy, you won’t miss it.

The new feature will start rolling out in the next few months because all things sacred eventually get updated, rebooted, rehashed, re-released and remade.
