Krysten Ritter revealed how she prepared for her role in the hit Netflix series Jessica Jones for Marvel. “That’s on me to do my homework as an actor – to layer in that subtext,” Ritter said.
Krysten Ritter is well-known for her critically acclaimed turn as “Jane Margolis” on AMC’s hit series, Breaking Bad, and as the titular character, “Chloe”, in Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23 (2012), for ABC. But, her biggest role came when she was cast as Jessica Jones in the Marvel/Netflix series. In the show, Ritter plays a former superhero who decides to reboot her life by becoming a private investigator.

It’s yet another reminder that Christina Grimmie was an amazing singer and talent but, her life was cut short after a man decided to bring several guns and a hunting knife to a fans meet and great.
At least three people who knew Omar Mateen, have all called him a violent and has a history of homophobic tendencies. The FBI continues to investigate as the media digs deeper into Mateen’s past.
Details of what happened inside the nightclub are being revealed. Some eyewitnesses also revealed what went on inside the club. According to one account, Joshua McGill revealed how he saved a man named Rodney, who had been shot. McGill used his shirt to stop the victim’s bleeding, and he doesn’t know whether Rodney is recovering well from his wounds. So, McGill is getting the word out and hopes one of Rodney’s friends will respond.
McGill also spoke with CBS News about his efforts to save Rodney. As McGill relates, the massacre began just after the club’s last call for drinks. The horror lasted until around 5:00 am when a SWAT team exchanged fire with Mateen. This interview reveals more about how McGill stayed alongside Rodney after the two left the building. At police officers’ instructions, McGill helped keep someone alive and even gave him a “bear hug” to help keep the man from bleeding out before an ambulance arrived. McGill admits he’s still in shock from the event.
Another clubgoer, Luis Burbano, appeared on The Kelly File to explain what he saw and heard during the massacre. Burbano says he witnessed a “domino effect” of several people falling to the ground. He also reveals the chaos and he still can’t believe what happened.
This audio recording, which was captured from across the street of the club, reveals the minutes the SWAT team entered the nightclub. Hundreds of shots are heard throughout the clip, many of these noises involve the SWAT team exchanging fire with Mateen. A lot of the noises were also flash bangs as well, but the overall video is gut-wrenching. You can listen to the audio footage below.

Vin Diesel has found a unique way to share how much he lives his daughter and late best-friend Paul Walker.
Vin Diesel posted a picture of himself and his daughter to Instagram on Friday. The photo shows Vin Diesel holding his one-year-old, who is named after Diesel’s late Fast & Furious co-star, and Paul Walker, who is photoshopped into the sky. You can check out the image below. The caption, which reads “Always,” reveals Diesel’s love and compassion of Paul Walker that lives through his daughter.
Vin Diesel has been quite open about his relationship with Paul Walker, who died in a tragic car crash in 2013, and the impact it has had on him.
Diesel is currently filming his new Fast & Furious movie in Atlanta, Georgia, Fast 8. Fast 8 (alternatively known as Fast & Furious 8 or Furious 8) is an upcoming action film directed by F. Gary Gray and written by Chris Morgan. It is the eighth installment in The Fast and the Furious franchise. The cast currently consists of Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris Bridges, Lucas Black, Kurt Russell and Jason Statham.
Plans for an eighth installment were first announced in March 2015 when Diesel appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and announced that the film would be set in New York.

At least 42 people have been transported for medical treatment, Orlando Police Chief John Mina said in a Sunday morning press conference. In addition, according to CNN, Police have shot and killed the gunman, Mina told reporters.

Both of Mateen’s parents are originally from Afghanistan, according to CBS News. He was married in 2009, public records show. It is not clear if he was still married at the time of the attack. Mateen is a registered Democrat who has also lived in Fort Pierce, Florida, according to online records.

The mass shooting only took place a few miles away from Orlando’s Plaza Live theater where 22-year-old singer Christina Grimmie, who had appeared on NBC’s The Voice was shot and killed on Friday night.
Pulse nightclub shooting is now considered an act of domestic terrorism.
Orlando is having one of the bloodiest weekends of recent history as two shootings have put the home of Disney World in the headlines.
According to reports, approximately 20 people were killed inside Pulse, a gay night club. At least 42 people have been transported for medical treatment, Orlando Police Chief John Mina said in a Sunday morning press conference. In addition, according to CNN, Police have shot and killed the gunman, Mina told reporters.
“It’s appears he was organized and well-prepared,” the chief said, adding that the shooter had an assault-type weapon, a handgun and “some type of (other) device on him.”
At least nine officers responded to the shooting were engaged in a shootout with the shooter. In addition, one officer suffered an eye injury when a bullet struck his Kevlar helmet.
Orlando police authorities say they consider the violence an act of domestic terrorism. The FBI is currently involved and while investigators are still investigating, they “have suggestions the individual has leanings towards (Islamic terrorism), but right now we can’t say definitely,” said Ron Hopper, a special agent to the FBI’s Orlando bureau and source to CNN.
Pulse Nightclub Shooting:
The shooting first started at around 2 a.m, according to police reports. An officer, who was working at the night club, responded and after the officer engaged the shooter and started shooting outside the club, the gunman ran into the night club.
“That turned into a hostage situation,” Mina said.
More police were rushed to the scene and broke down a door with an armored vehicle, helping save 30 club-goers. At that point police shot and killed the gunman, Mina said.
“Everyone get out of Pulse and keep running,” the nightclub posted on its Facebook page shortly after the violence began.
What is Pulse Nightclub:
Pulse is located in the heart of Orlando and before the shooting, the nightclub was promoting its “Latin flavor” event. Crowds headed to the party in an event that turned to a complete nightmare.
Ricardo Negron Almodovar was at the night club and said he barely escaped. “People on the dance floor and bar got down on the floor and some of us who were near the bar and back exit managed to go out through the outdoor area and just ran,” he posted on the club’s Facebook page. “I am safely home and hoping everyone gets home safely as well.”
Anthony Torres, who was at the night club with friends, said he heard shots as he drove away.
“The shots did not sound like a regular handgun. It sounded like it was shooting repetitively and it wouldn’t stop,” he said. “So we knew what it was and we left there pretty quick. It was over 70 cop cars that were arriving there … It happened so quick that people got separated from each other.”
Hospitals are now on lockdown
The Orlando Regional Medical Center was placed on lockdown, the hospital said in a statement. Only essential workers are being allowed access into the building.

According to reports, a Cleveland man, Lamont Richmond, asked Justin Bieber for an autograph moments before the singer attacked him. Richmond, who is 6’9, says the 5’9 pop star called him a mother****, when he asked for an autograph outside The Westin hotel in Cleveland.

A fight ensued and Bieber threw several punches as the confrontation turned into a full out brawl. Richmond, who easily defeated the pop singer, says that he had left a bar with several friends when he saw Justin. “I was with the girls. We just asked the d***’ for an autograph.”
According to Richmond, the group were having a friendly chat with the singer but the atmosphere changed when he asked the singer for a photo and an autograph. ‘The fool ran up on me,’ Lamont says in the video.
Apparently, Richmond does not follow Justin Bieber on Instagram. Recently, Bieber said he will not take photos with fans anymore because he feels like a “zoo animal,” which may have caused the pop singer to attack Richmond and say “No autographs tonight, motherf*****.”

The 21-year-old man, whose name police did not release, travelled to The Plaza Live theater with two handguns on Friday night. He then walked up to Grimmie, who was signing autographs for fans after the show. Moments later he opened fire and shot and killed her at 10:30 p.m., according to police reports. Her brother immediately tackled the suspect and the man shot himself.
“There is no indication that they knew each other,” Mina said.

Many people are calling Grimmie’s brother a hero because the killer had two loaded magazines and a large hunting knife on him, the chief said.
Grimmie became extremely popular after appearing on NBC’s The Voice. She was in Orlando to open for Before You Exit, a local band.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, the man planned, targeted and had intentions of killing Grimmie. The man traveled from another city to Orlando to kill the former NBC The Voice contestant.
“[It is] unknown what his plans were for after killing Christina, but very heroic actions by Marcus Grimmie to jump in could have prevented loss of life there,” said Mina.
Nobody else was hurt or injured
About 120 people were in the theater when the shooting took place and no one else was hurt. It’s important to point out that the venue did not feature any metal detectors and only had unarmed security guards to check for weapons. However, it is not known how the man entered the venue with so many weapons.
“I think it’s important to note the type of crowd that attends this,” said Mina. “We’re talking about young kids. This isn’t a crowd that you would expect would be carrying a gun to a venue like this.”
Donations are currently being collected through a GoFundMe page, which started at the request of Grimmie’s management team.
“Christina Grimmie was such a gift to this world and loved by many,” reads the website. “Unparalleled [sic] was the love from her parents and brother who moved across the country to support their daughter in achieving her musical dreams. We would love for the family to be able to take the proper time to grieve.”
The GoFundMe’s page is currently looking to raise $4,0000 but, has received well over $10,000 in donations.

The group, Before You Exit, posted a formal statement on their Twitter account after police confirmed Grimmie’s death.
“Christina was such a loving, caring, beautiful person with the biggest heart,” reads the statement. “She was an absolutely incredible musician and an even better friend. We are so saddened by her passing and are completely heartbroken.”
Before You Exit describes Grimmie as a “constant beam of light and energy into the hearts of everyone around her.”

The Plaza Live canceled the expected Kidz Bop concert that was scheduled to take place on Saturday afternoon, and ticket holders can receive refunds at the point of purchase. “The board and staff at the Plaza Live Venue are deeply saddened by the tragic events of Friday evening,” reads the statement. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of those lost as well as those that witnessed and aided in the recovery after this senseless act.”

Tyler Perry is now casting for TLC’s Too Close to Home in Atlanta, Georgia.
Marinella Hume Casting is now casting actors, models, and talent to work on the new Tyler Perry scripted series for TLC called Too Close to Home. Filming is currently taking place in Atlanta, Georgia and casting directors are currently looking for a ton of background extras to work on the new TV show.
About Too Close To Home:
According to Variety, Tyler Perry is writing, directing and producing the first ever scripted series for TLC. “Too Close to Home” centers around “the story of a young woman who escaped her working class upbringing to discover unparalleled success in the fast-paced D.C. political circuit, only to find herself at the center of a scandal. After a steamy affair with a married senator makes national headlines, she is forced to return to her trailer park beginnings, where her past and everyone in it resurfaces to complicate everything,” according to Variety.
Tyler Perry’s new project is a major move for TLC, which has been known lately for scandalous reality shows. TLC has also given the green light to several new TV shows including an unscripted reality show about interior designing.
“At TLC, we want to give our viewers more of what they love, and more of what we do best — we tell stories of big, fascinating characters and we tell them without judgment,” Nancy Daniels, president of TLC and Discovery Life, said Thursday in a statement prepped for the upfront. “This year we’re also making a big move into the scripted space with Tyler Perry and bringing back our beloved property programming with big names like Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent. We’re beyond excited to introduce our audience to new content and refresh a genre that TLC dominated for years.”
How to get cast:
Casting for Tyler Perry’s Too Close to Home has not been announced yet, and a premiere date will be released in the future. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t work on the new Tyler Perry series. Marinella Hume Casting is currently seeking extras to work episodes filming in Atlanta, Georgia.
During an interview with Uproxx, the 47 year old actor revealed that he would love to play Ghost Rider in a Marvel movie. “Hell yeah,” he said. “It would be a blast. Do I get a skull face that’s on fire and all that stuff? F**k yeah. I’m down.”
It’s been nearly four years since the last Ghost Rider movie, which featured Nicolas Cage playing the iconic role. The movie follows the story of stunt rider Johnny Blaze – a motorcycle stunt rider who makes a deal with the devil in order to save his father. But when the demon calls to collect his debt, Blaze becomes the Ghost Rider.
While the movies were met with mostly negative reviews, Ghost Rider did extremely well in the box office and managed to spawn a sequel. But, can Norman Reedus really play Ghost Rider? Reedus is known for playing Daryl Dixon in The Walking Dead, a man that has very few words and a character that has very few lines. But his love of motorcycles has led to Reedus starring in his new series with AMC, Ride with Norman Reedus.
And that’s probably why fans are interested in seeing him as Ghost Rider.
It’s important to note that there are rumors of a possible Netflix Ghost Rider TV series coming soon, following in the foot steps of Daredevil and Jessica Jones. Whether or not that happens remains to be seen…

It seems like nowadays Netflix is releasing a new show every other day and it’s been particularly hard to keep track of it all, but judging from the first trailer of Stranger Things, has something worth watching.
Created by the writing and directing team Matt and Ross Duffer, the show is set in 1983 that follows the disappearance of a 12-year-old boy and the dark secrets about the town it uncovers.
The TV series filmed all across Atlanta, Georgia with the extras casting director, Casting TaylorMade leading the production casting background actors for the show. You can look back at all of the interesting casting calls here.
All eight episodes of Stranger Things debut on July 15th. Until then, check out the trailer below.

Key & Peele may have stopped creating new episodes, but the popular Comedy Central will continue to live on via the Internet. The show, which features Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, featured more than 300 sketches, a large majority of which could not be found on the Internet. Now, all of them are available online for the first time.
“If they made it, it’s here,” the website states.
In addition to the sketches, fans go search through an entire dictionary section featuring quotes created by Key & Peele.
This is not a surprise as “Substitute Teacher” has nearly 100 million views on YouTube. The show was nominated for seven Emmy Awards last year, including Outstanding Variety Sketch Series and, for Key, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.
