Marvel’s Jessica Jones leading star Krysten Ritter shares some great acting tips for aspiring actors.
Krysten Ritter revealed how she prepared for her role in the hit Netflix series Jessica Jones for Marvel. “That’s on me to do my homework as an actor – to layer in that subtext,” Ritter said.
Krysten Ritter is well-known for her critically acclaimed turn as “Jane Margolis” on AMC’s hit series, Breaking Bad, and as the titular character, “Chloe”, in Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23 (2012), for ABC. But, her biggest role came when she was cast as Jessica Jones in the Marvel/Netflix series. In the show, Ritter plays a former superhero who decides to reboot her life by becoming a private investigator.
The Marvel’s Jessica Jones star revealed details into her acting process and discusses acting tips for auditions, stage fright and working with Hollywood’s biggest entertainers in an interview with the Screen Actors Guild Foundation in New York City.
