A stuntman working on the new TV show Shooter says actor Tom Sizemore was drunk when he hit him with a vehicle on set, according to a lawsuit filed Friday in Los Angeles County Superior Court and reported by The Hollywood Reporter.Â
Stuntman, Steve De Castro, says he was working on location at the Agua Dulce Airport on July 6 when Sizemore became intoxicated knowing that he would be driving a car. Attorney Lawrence Grassini asserts Sizemore’s actions were done in conscious disregard for safety.
De Castro says he does not know the extent of his injuries but he is suing the actor, Viacom, Paramount and others for a long list of claims including negligence, battery, assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
The stuntman claims producers supported Sizemore’s actions by not firing him.
Sizemore joined Shooter in May and two months later was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, which occurred only two weeks after the crash that put Steve De Castro in the hospital.
When you book an acting job, you’re thinking that you are guaranteed to see it through the end, and get rewarded for all of the hard work you put into the project.
However in Hollywood, that is not always the case. While you can get cast in a movie it is not always promised that you will stick around for the entire production. Whether if it is due to disagreements, poor acting, or just simply not right for the part, actors can find themselves working today and looking for a job tomorrow.
The very thought about losing a job over a freckle or your height is pretty scary, which probably contributes to why only so many actors stick around in the film industry.

It is one thing to fire a supporting an actor who is playing a character that won’t be missed. But it is compltely different when you fire the A-list lead in the feature film.
Moral of the story? Show up on time, don’t change your body dramatically, and be respectful to your fellow cast and crew.

Netflix’s new Marlon Wayans movie NAKED is now casting background actors to play wedding guests. Filming will take place over the course of multiple days in Charleston, South Carolina starting November 1st through the 18th. Background actors need to be local to Charleston, SC, or can work as a local (meaning you have local friends/family that you can stay with) as production will not pay for travel. Pay rate $64.00 for up to 8 hours; time and a half after 8. An average day of filming is 10-12 hours.

According to Deadline, Netflix has signed a deal to produce and distribute Marlon Wayans’ next project Naked. The romantic comedy reunites Wayans with helmer Michael Tiddes, who directed him in A Haunted House and most recentlyFifty Shades Of Black. The movie is based on the 2000 Swedish film Naken and centers around a charming man-child who wakes up on his wedding day, naked in an elevator.
