Hockey Players, Coaching Staff, Officials, Trainers – you must be able to skate and play with high level hockey skills. Male, Any Ethnicity, 18 to 55yoa – Please note with the NCAA guidelines, we cannot see anyone who is currently pro or will go pro. Additionally, principal casting is looking for options as well, and we may forward your submission to them for consideration, but do not submit with 4 Star Casting UNLESS you are willing to work as an extra. If you are a hockey player ONLY, and are not Union, you will still be considered – if chosen, we will Taft-Hartley.

5) Confirm the shoot date(s) you are available to work.

6) Confirm that your registration with 4 Star Casting is current (within the last 12 months).

7) Confirm your mode of transportation to set.

8) If you are applying for Hockey Player, please give us a brief description of your skill level, and if you play on a league, etc.

“Racist” Netflix Series is Getting BASHED on YouTube

After announcing the release date of the new Netflix series Dear White People, many people called for a boycott of the streaming company. Since then, the trailer for the new show has over one million dislikes on YouTube in less than 24 hours.

Unsurprisingly, the comments were not that much better. One YouTube user wrote, “Dear Black People. Most modern day white people’s ancestors never owned slaves. Mine didn’t even arrive to this country until after slavery was abolished, and they never owned slaves. Also, none of us living today existed during the time of slavery. It’s racist to associate all white people with slavery and oppression.”

Another user commented, “BELIEVE ME, TRUMP’S PRESIDENCY JUST GOT 4 YEARS LONGER!”

“Dear Black People, Heres a list of acceptable things to do when a police officer pulls you over: Put both hands on the steering wheel, be polite, do as you’re told, inform the officer if you are going to make a sudden movement Heres what not to do: Refuse to listen because “he pulled me over cause im black” , and protest and destroy property like animals when a police officer was forced to shoot in order to protect his life,” another YouTuber commented.

However, not everyone is taking this backlash sitting down. The one of the show’s writers, Jack Moore, took to Twitter to voice his frustration by tweeting “**** white people”.

 

Ultimately, the release of the new Netflix series has sparked an international controversy. Earlier this week it was revealed Netflix subscribers are calling for the company to either cancel the show or they will cancel their subscription because the show promotes an “anti-white” agenda.

Museum Closes Shia LaBeouf’s Trump Protest

Shia LaBeouf’s Donald Trump was reportedly shut down by the Museum of the Moving Image, and will not continue for its planned four-year duration.

LaBeouf started the He Will Not Divide Us live stream on Inauguration Day. The project featured a camera attached to the outside of the museum, where anyone could come by and be filmed 24/7 saying “he will not divide us.”

LaBeouf planned for the protest to last throughout Trump’s first four years as president. But after several incidents, including one that led to LaBeouf getting arrested, the museum has decided to close up shop. In a statement released on Friday, the museum said:

“The Museum of the Moving Image has closed HEWILLNOTDIVIDE.US, a participatory Internet streaming performance by LaBeouf, Rönkkö & Turner. The installation created a serious and ongoing public safety hazard for the Museum, its visitors, staff, local residents, and businesses. The installation had become a flashpoint for violence and was disrupted from its original intent.

While the installation began constructively, it deteriorated markedly after one of the artists was arrested on the site of the installation and ultimately necessitated this action. Over the course of the installation, there have been dozens of threats of violence and numerous arrests, such that police felt compelled to be stationed outside the installation 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

We take our commitment to the safety of our 200,000 annual visitors and 50,000 school children attending programs at the Museum seriously, along with the safety and security of our staff and community.

We are proud to have launched this engaging and thought-provoking digital art installation which was experienced by millions of online viewers worldwide. Until public safety concerns overrode the intent of the installation, HEWILLNOTDIVIDE.US generated an important conversation allowing interaction among people from many backgrounds and with different viewpoints. However, ending our engagement with the installation is the most prudent path forward to restore public safety to the Museum, its visitors, staff, and the community.”

The live stream is no longer online. But, LaBeouf has taken to Twitter to address the closing of the He Will Not Divide Us exhibit, saying, “The museum has abandoned us.”

Gatorade commercial casting call for athletes in Chicago, Illinois.

PR Casting is now casting highly skilled basketball and hockey players for a Gatorade commercial. Producers are looking for men ages 18 to 35 who have played collegiate or semi-pro in either basketball or hockey.

Casting directors are also looking for professional referees who can play basketball or hockey.

Auditions are on Monday, February 13th, and Tuesday, February 14th. T

This is a SAG-AFTRA commercial, and if booked, pay is on scale rates with a minimum of $600. Open to ALL highly skilled players but very specifically looking for a Basketball player who is close to 6’9″ and 220lbs AND a Hockey player who is close to 5’10” and 177lbs.

Taylor Schilling’s “Fam-i-ly” movie is now casting kid actors in Atlanta, Georgia.

Casting TaylorMade is now casting featured roles in the new movie Fam-i-ly, which is now filming in Atlanta, Georgia. Casting directors are looking for kid actors ballet dancers, and other featured roles.

About Fam-i-ly:

Not too much has been revealed about the movie but we do know that it is a comedy and that the plot centers around Taylor Schilling and her 13-year-old niece who desperately wants to become a Juggalo. The movie stars Talyor Schilling (Orange is the New Black) and Jillian Bell (Workaholics).
