Why Michael Cera Doesn’t Get Many Movie Offers Any More (Video)

According to a new YouTube video by Looper, Michael Cera has fallen off the map. The once A-list actor rose to fame what is hit comedy series Arrested Development. He would later star hit movies such as Juno and Superbad.

Cera began his acting career as a child actor. Most notably, playing a young Chuck Barris in Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (2002). He is mostly known for his role as George Michael Bluth on the sitcom Arrested Development and for his leading roles in the comedy films Superbad (2007), Juno (2007), Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist (2008) and Youth in Revolt (2010). In 2010, he portrayed Scott Pilgrim in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and played an exaggerated comedic version of himself in This Is the End (2013).

However, the number of acting jobs has slowly waned following the actor’s mainstream success.

In a new video by Looper, Michael Sarah has fallen off for several reasons including being typecast, having several of his movies flopped at the box office, and mostly not being in pursuit fame.  While it is too early to tell whether or not Michael Cera can save his acting career,  it is clear now that the young actor’s  popularity has slowly dropped off the last few years.

4 Different ‘Game of Thrones’ Spinoffs Maybe Coming Soon

0

As production for HBO’s Game of Thrones draws to a close, executives are considering where to take the show next. According to reports, HBO has officially started developing four different spinoffs.

The Hollywood Reporter explains “Each of the four projects will explore different time periods of Martin’s sprawling world of Westeros. It’s unclear where any of the four fall in the show’s universe — meaning they could be prequels, sequels or spinoffs.”

Currently, the writers from Kingsman: The Secret Service, The Leftovers, Kong: Skull Island and A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master are all developing spinoffs for the Game of Thrones.

Meanwhile, the show’s current show runners are expected to only work as executive producers.

At this time there are no details of one potential spinoff will have its production, and the four spinoffs are only in the development stage at HBO.  That said, it is important to note that HBO insisted that the current show runners of the Game of Thrones stretch of the series as long as possible, which makes this the next best thing.

Game of Thrones returns HBO fruits last season on July 16.

Chris Pratt Reveals How He Nearly Died On Set of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’

During a recent interview on LIVE with Kelly and Ryan, Chris Pratt was asked if he used stuntmen while filming Guardians of the Galaxy 2 in Atlanta, Georgia. While the actor confirmed that he worked with a great stunt team, that didn’t keep him safe from an unexpected “mishap” that left the actor “knocked out.”

Like most dangerous stunts on movie sets, this one started with Pratt being suspended from a set of wires 15 feet in the air. Pratt had earlier said he was concerned with the stunt after seeing the stunt team perform what was a scary fast fall.

“I saw it and I thought, ‘That’s very fast. Should you slow that down?’ And they said, ‘It’s gonna be half that speed. That’s only half the speed.'”

Unfortunately, that was not the case. As he hovered, “planking in the air” above the mat he was to land on, the people in charge of dropping the wires let go too fast. Pratt suddenly found himself plummetting towards the floor.

“So when we did the stunt, I guess they accidentally did double the speed, so they essentially just dropped us in midair. And I flew down, and I was heading toward the ground.”

Pratt tried to protect both his head and his injured elbow, twisting around mid-air in order to take the brunt of the force with his shoulder. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite turn out as planned.

“So I turn this way and I just bounce my face off the mat. I saw a flash of yellow and kind of tasted, like, smoke in my mouth.”

I’m no doctor, but I’m pretty sure that he may have suffered a mild concussion. That said, the only reasonable thing he could think of was picking himself up off that mat and finishing the scene. Why? Because he knew that if he didn’t, he’d have to re-shoot the stunt all over again— despite the fact that “there was little birds flying around my head all day.”

Chris Pratt may be one of the biggest up and coming action stars in Hollywood, but his decision to do his own stunts has landed him in hot water in the past. He shared a photo of a gnarly bruise he sustained to his bicep on Instagram, a product of a stunt he performed while filming Passengers.

See #Passengers on Dec. 21st and see if you can spot the stunt that caused these bruises!

A post shared by chris pratt (@prattprattpratt) on

In addition, Pratt also told Shannon LaNier that he was thrown off his motorcycle while filming Jurassic World, landing 25 feet away and injuring his back. Oh, Pratt also told People magazine that he had to get shoulder surgery due to overtraining for Zero Dark Thirty.

Let’s hope Pratt doesn’t get injured while filming for ‘Avengers: Infinity War’.

Sly Fox Brewery’s Bock Fest Casting Call for Pennsylvania Models

Paradym Group is now hiring models for an upcoming Sly Fox Brewery’s Bock Fest and Goat Race. Models will be compensated $20/hour and the modeling job will take place on Sunday, May 7th in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.

To audition for a spot in the modeling job check out the casting call breakdown below.

Modeling job casting call

Hi Everyone,
Paradym Group needs 5 fun reliable female brand ambassadors for the below event. To submit email 3-5 images and a promo resume to Shannon@theparadymgroup.com ASAP.

WHAT: Sly Fox Brewery’s Bock Fest and Goat Race

WHERE: 331 Circle of Progress Dr, Pottstown, PA 19464

DATE: Sunday May 7,2017

HOURS: 11:00AM – 2-3:00PM

RATE: $20 Per hour- Pays Quick

DUTIES: The way purchasing works at Bock Fest is that people get cash from an ATM, wait in line to get their IDs checked/purchase physical drink tickets using their cash, and then get in line to redeem those tickets for drinks/food/merchandise. BeerMe has customized its software to enable users to purchase these tickets (and redeem them) using the BeerMe app (so no waiting in line!). Paradym is looking for 4-5 females between the ages of 21 and 35 who are willing to be on their feet for 4 hours in a BeerMe t-shirt letting festival attendees know that they don’t have to wait in line to buy tickets (but can instead buy tickets — to redeem for drinks/food/merchandise — through the app). They would guide festival attendees through the benefits of downloading the app (skip ATM and ticket lines, skip the ordering line for beers by using BeerMe’s Express ordering lane, sign up for a free raffle, don’t need to carry cash, in-app festival map, etc), potentially check an ID, and then direct them to a “BeerMe Express Lane”.
