Tyra Banks Accused of Physically Manipulating a Girl During an ‘America’s Got Talent’ Audition

According to reports, a contestant on America’s Got Talent filed a lawsuit this week claiming that the show’s host Tyra Banks humiliated her daughter during a recent taping of the show.

The contestant, who is identified as Jane Doe in the lawsuit, performed a song with her husband at the taping on March 19th. The song is about her bond with her daughter, who is identified as Mary and who was present during the taping. She says that she and her husband were “humiliated” by the judges and the audience, who criticized the song.

Also, according to the lawsuit, Banks added to the humiliation by making fun of the song in front of Mary. The contestant claims that Banks pulled her daughter’s hair bank, physically manipulated her, and insinuated that the girl was conceived by accident.

Afterward, the lawsuit says Mary was traumatized and became deeply depressed.

“Mary would become extremely nervous and anxious whenever, among other triggering events, she hears any mentions of [the] song and [the] song itself, whenever she ruminates about the events during or related to the performance, and whenever she thinks about the prospective televised airing or use online of Jane and her husband, their performance, as well as the airing and use online of any footages of Mary.”

It is important to note that contestants sign waivers that they may be subjected to humiliation. But, the suit claims that the production got Mary to sign a contract without her parents’ knowledge or consent. After the contestant had complained, the company communicated that they would not include Mary in the broadcast. However, the couple asked that the entire performance not is aired. That request was denied.

The suit accuses Banks of battery and assault and seeks damages for infliction of emotional distress.

According to TMZ, Danielle Bregoli is going on a national tour. What will the tour include for a teenager who went viral for saying “Cash Me Ousside”, apparently, she’s planning a 3-part act in two major cities.

“Danielle lip syncing and rapping to her fave songs, plus established acts making cameos,” TMZ reports, “Live Q&A with the audience and invite audience members onstage to joke around. Translation: Get ready to be roasted by a 14-year-old.”

Bregoli is set to make up to $50,000 per show if they sell out.

This news comes after Bregoli is reportedly working on a reality TV show, on track to make a million dollars this year, building a YouTube channel with viral videos, and making fun of David Spade. All of which begs the question – how did she ever get famous in the first place?

Marvel is now hiring new talent for Avengers: Infinity War movie in Atlanta.

Marvel is now hiring background extras to play NYC types including business workers, pedestrians, café patrons, street vendors, bike courier, and more in the new Avengers movie. Producers are seeking men and women, any ethnicity, over the age of 18 to work on the scene. Marvel is looking for people who are in physical shape as a moderate amount of running may be required. Filming will shoot throughout June and July in two locations including Fayetteville and Atlanta, Georgia.

About The Avengers:

Disney plans to release Marvel’s “Avengers: Infinity War” as one film with production expected to begin later this summer in Atlanta, Georgia.  Avengers: Infinity War is the upcoming sequel to The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron. The movie is set to hit theaters on May 4, 2018. Details surrounding the new Avengers movie have not been released. Georgia is Now the Number One Filming Location in the World for Movies

According to a new report by FilmL.A, 17 feature films shot in Georgia in 2016, beating California as the top location for feature film production and making it the number one filming location in the world.

FilmL.A.’s annual Feature Film study revealed the United Kingdom came in second for shooting with 16 feature films, with Canada taking third place with 13. Meanwhile, California was in fourth place with 12 feature productions and New York, and Louisiana tied for fifth place.

Researchers also changed the way they analyzed the data. In fact, data scientists calculated the top 5 filming locations by analyzing the 100 top-grossing movies at the domestic box office. Aforementioned is different in comparison to previous studies, which used only films released by major U.S. film companies. As a result, Georgia’s film industry not only shot the most movies but, had some of the highest grossing movies films in the state as well.

Overall, the California shot feature films spent nearly $99.5 million in filming and received $12.4 million in tax credits thanks to the California Film & Television Tax Credit program.

“California’s incentive has returned some feature projects to the state,” the study explains. “In fact, in Los Angeles, on-location feature film production reached an eight-year high in 2016 — but the state’s film incentive program seems optimized for use by a narrow band of feature film projects, with budgets from $40 million to $100 million.”

Meanwhile, big budget productions like Passengers, The 5th Wave, Allegiant, Captain America: Civil War all filmed in Atlanta. Consequently, $2.02 billion was spent on film and TV production was spent in Georgia; while Georgia spent $606 million to fund the tax credits.

Overall, it is important to note that the film industry in the United States is on the decline. While Georgia may host to some of the biggest movies in the world, the study revealed 57% of all movies filmed in the United States. That is the lowest percentage share in nearly five years, with an average of 63 to 67%.

Nancy Mosser Casting is now searching for background actors to work on the new movie Prepared for a Purpose. The open casting call will be held on:

Casting directors are looking for kids and adults of ethnically diverse background. Kids who are ages 6 to 14-year-olds are being sought after to play students. Adults ages 18 and older are being cast to play family members, police officers, swat team members and reporters.

About Prepared for a Purpose:

Prepared for a Purpose is based on the true story of Antoinette Tuff (Toni Braxton) and inspired by the teachers of TD Jakes, Ms. Tuff used her faith and courage to avert tragedy when an active gunman entered her Atlanta area school. Filming will take place in the Pittsburgh area from June 8th through the 30th.

Chicago’s Film Industry Just Lost a Major TV Show

NBC pulls the plug on Chicago Justice after only one season

According to Deadline, NBC has made a decision and has decided to cancel Chicago Justice. While the network’s Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med were renewed earlier this month, the network’s lowest-rated series in the franchise, Chicago Justice, was canceled.

The issue may revolve around syndications. Deadline reports that network drama series are not as lucrative as they used to be. Moreover, there have been no syndication sales for Chicago Fire or Chicago P.D, despite filming over 4 seasons.

As can be expected after 30 years in business, the financial relationship between Wolf and NBC is complex, and, with few exceptions, network drama series are not as lucrative as they used to be, with limited opportunities in the SVOD and cable off-network space. There have been no syndication sales yet for Chicago Fire, finishing Season 5, or Chicago P.D, wrapping Season 4.

It is important to point out that Chicago Fire is NBC’s second-highest rated and most watched drama series behind This is Us.
