David Lynch is a creative genius. But his off the wall approach to filmmaking is what helps make him one of the greatest filmmakers in the world. But, according to reports, David Lynch’s casting process for Twin Peaks was so secretive, not even the actors knew what was happening.
Comedian/actor Brent Gelman shared with IndieWire what its as like to be cast in the Showtime reboot of Twin Peaks.
“I didn’t know what that meant,” said Gelman. “I don’t know what Mr. Lynch’s process was. I’d be too intimated to ask him.”
Apparently, Lynch went to great lengths were taken to keep details under the wraps. Part of the casting process included destroying all trace of what made it to the page.
A few days before the shoot, Gelman received a physical copy of the script that only contained pages with his scenes (so far, he has only appeared in two episodes). “It was so intense,” Gelman recalled. The script contained a note emphasizing the confidentiality of the material. “It said not to share anything about your scenes and not to tell anyone you’re involved,” he said. He was required to return the material to a producer after the shoot so they could be destroyed. “That was cool,” Gelman said with a laugh.
Twin Peaks continues is return season Sundays on Showtime.

About The Avengers:
Disney plans to release Marvel’s “Avengers: Infinity War” as one film with production expected to begin later this summer in Atlanta, Georgia. Avengers: Infinity War is the upcoming sequel to The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron. The movie is set to hit theaters on May 4, 2018. Details surrounding the new Avengers movie have not been released. However, the comic book character Thanos will serve as the main antagonist of the film, with the plot revolving around the Infinity Gauntlet and the six Infinity Stones. According to IMDB, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pratt, Samuel L. Jackson and Josh Brolin will star in the new Avengers: Infinity War movie.

Ryan Gosling’s new movie First Man to film in Georgia this summer.
According to Explore Georgia, the upcoming Universal production, First Man, is now filming in Georgia.
In the upcoming Georgia-filmed production Ryan Gosling will play Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon, in a new biopic directed by La La Land and Whiplash director Damien Chazelle.
Josh Singer, who earned an Oscar for his Spotlight screenplay, wrote First Man based on James Hansen’s biography, First Man: A Life of Neil A. Armstrong. Gosling has reportedly been tied to the project since late last year, but only inked a deal to star in the film earlier this year.
After serving as a Navy pilot in World War II, Neil Armstrong joined the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics, the precursor to NASA, as a test pilot and engineer. His first mission as an astronaut was Gemini 8 in 1962, during which he performed the first successful docking of two vehicles in space. On July 21st, 1969 he became the first person to walk on the moon as part of Apollo 11.
While the movie will center around Armstrong, it will also explore what it took to put the man on the moon including the cost and sacrifice required by both Armstrong and America to make it successful.

Tyler Perry is ramping up his releases with Lionsgate, following the release of October’s hit box-office movie, Boo! A Made Halloween. According to Deadline, Tyler Perry is releasing several new feature films with Lionsgate.
The first movie is She’s Living my Life and will feature three-time Emmy nominee star Taraji P. Henson, who previously starred in Tyler Perry’s The Family That Preys and I Can Do Bad All By Myself.  In She’s Living My Life, Henson plays a faithful wife who is tired of standing by her devious husband, and is enraged when it becomes clear she has been betrayed.

Major new TV series is now hiring stand-ins in Atlanta, Georgia.
Central Casting is looking for several photo doubles to work on the new production code-named “HEAVEN”. Producers are looking for people that match the following descriptions:
Photo Dbl #1 – We are in need of a male who appears Hispanic or has an olive skin tone. you should be 6’1″-6’3″, 30-32″ waist and a 40 coat.
Photo Dbl #2 – We are in need of a female who appears Asian or fair/medium complexion. You should be 5’5″-5’7″, and wear a size 0-2.
Photo Dbl #3 – We are in need of a male who appears Native American or has an olive skin tone. You should be 5’10”-6’0″, 30-32″ waist, and 40-42 coat.
Details surrounding the production have not been released. However, according to BleedingCoolFox’s new TV series The Gifted is filming under the code-name Heaven. In addition, according to Heroic Hollywood, the new TV series is reported to film in Atlanta this summer.
The series, titled The Gifted, is about “two ordinary parents who discover their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.”

Dwayne Johnson’s ‘Rampage’ is now casting upscale shoppers in Atlanta, Georgia.
Casting directors are looking for actors, models, and talent to play Chicago Business types and Upscale casual shoppers. Producers are looking for people that are in good physical shape and between the ages of 20 to 60 to work on the movie. Filming will shoot on Saturday, June 25th.
Deadline reports that Rampage will be directed by Brad Peyton and star Dwayne Johnson. Details surrounding the plot of Rampage have not been released. But, the movie is based on the hit 1980s video game Rampage. Rampage is a 1986 arcade game where players control one of three giant monsters trying to rack up points by destroying cities while avoiding being shot at by tanks and helicopters.

Empireseason 4 casting call for baby models in Chicago, Illinois.
