Netflix’s hit TV series Ozark is now hiring film jobs in Atlanta, Georgia.

According to Georgia.org, producers are now accepting resumes for all crew positions. As a result, producers are looking for production assistants, grips, gaffers, make-up artists, stylists, wardrobe artists, and other crew members to work on the new season of Ozark. 

Ozark is an American crime drama thriller web series created by Bill Dubuque and produced by Media Rights Capital. Jason Bateman stars in the series; he also directed the first two and last two episodes. The first season is composed of nine one-hour episodes and a final 80-minute episode; it was released on Netflix on July 21, 2017.

Bateman portrays financial planner Marty Byrde, and Laura Linney portrays a homemaker turned real estate agent Wendy Byrde. Marty suddenly relocates the family from a Chicago suburb to a summer resort community in the Missouri Ozarks after a money laundering scheme goes wrong, and he must pay off a debt to a Mexican drug lord. The series was renewed for a 10-episode second season on August 15, 2017.

Sony Pictures is now accepting resumes for Venom.

According to Georgia.org, producers are now accepting resumes for all crew positions. As a result, producers are looking for production assistants, grips, gaffers, make-up artists, stylists, wardrobe artists, and other crew members to work on the new feature film.

Venom is to launch a new series of movies from Sony’s Marvel and Spider-Man based universe of characters. In addition, Sony is rebooting its Marvel productions with the upcoming Atlanta filmed Spider-Man: Homecoming and Venom are the first movies in their lineup. The studio is also producing a Silver Sable/Black Cat project among other characters from the Spider-Man series.

The movie is reportedly listed as one of Sony’s top priorities and the studio is not wasting any time and plans to open the movie on October 5, 2018. Tom Hardy, who was nominated for an Oscar for his work in The Revenant, is in negotiations to star in the movie, while Ruben Fleisher, who is best known for directing Zombieland, is set to direct the production.

About Escape at Dannemora:

According to Variety, is based on the real-life 2015 prison break in upstate New York in the summer of 2015, which spawned a massive manhunt for two convicted murderers who were aided in their escape by a married female prison employee with whom they both became sexually entangled.

The show will star Paul Dano, Benicio del Toro and Patricia Arquette. Del Toro will play convicted murderer Richard Matt who masterminds the escape; Arquette will play Tilly Mitchell, a working class, married woman who works at the prison and becomes sexually involved with both convicts, inducing her to assist them with their escape; and Dano will play David Sweat, a convicted cop-killer who uses his good looks to seduce Tilly and becomes a reluctant partner in Richard Matt’s plot.

We are looking for a Standin for one of our leads on “Escape at Dannemora”! Would have to be completely available 10/23, 10/24, 11/1 and 11/2. Flexibility is important as dates may shift.

Standins are used in place of the actor for camera and lighting tests so they are CRUCIAL to the success of a working set. Standins must be quick learners who are extremely reliable, punctual and professional. MUST HAVE A CAR.

Shooting location the Northside area of Pittsburgh. Shoot days are typically 12-14 hours starting in the very early morning. Pay is $168 for the first 12 hours and time and a half after that. On set experience is a huge plus but not necessary.
