Daniel Webber, who you may remember from The Punisher is in talks to play Vince Neil.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson: “Depression Never Discriminates”

The Rock is pretty open about his history with depression.

The 45-year-old actor recently opened up about his past struggles and shared a very special message bout mental health on social media.

Johnson explains that he had went through a dark time when he was a teenager after watching his mother attempt suicide. Johnson thanked his fans for their supportive feedback.

“Struggle and pain is real. I was devastated and depressed,” he said according to The Express. “I reached a point where I didn’t want to do a thing or go anywhere. I was crying constantly.”

“Got tons of responses to this. Thank you,” he tweeted on Monday, while sharing to the story. “We all go thru the sludge/s– and depression never discriminates. Took me a long time to realize it but the key is to not be afraid to open up. Especially us dudes have a tendency to keep it in. You’re not alone,” he wrote.

Johnson revealed in February that his mother attempted suicide, while shooting a scene from his HBO series Ballers that had a scene dealing with that topic. He explained,  “My mom tried to check out when I was 15. She got outta the car on Interstate 65 in Nashville and walked into oncoming traffic. Big rigs and cars swerving outta the way not to hit her. I grabbed her and pulled her back of the gravel shoulder of the road.”

He added “what’s crazy about that suicide attempt is to this day, she has no recollection of it whatsoever,” adding that’s probably for the best.

However, Extras Casting Atlanta recently posted a casting call looking for a photo double for kid actor Jeremy Ray Tyler and according to his IMDB page he is currently working on Goosebumps 2. That said, we cannot confirm at this time that this is the movie Extras Casting Atlanta is looking for. But, Goosebumps 2 is now filming in Atlanta, Georgia.

Netflix is Now Hiring Someone to Binge Watch Their Shows

Netflix has a job opening for someone to binge watch their shows.

Are you looking for a new job? Can you binge watch shows with ease? Then you may have what it takes to become an editorial analyst for Netflix, a position that requires the person to “categorize television series, specials, and movies” on the streaming website.

But Netflix is looking for more than a TV watcher. According to the job listing posted by the company, Netflix is looking for someone with five years of experience working in the entertainment industry along with a deep knowledge of movies and TV. You’ll also have to move to Los Angeles to work at the company’s offices in Hollywood.

Editorial analysts will be required to “watch, research, rate, tag, annotate and write analysis” on deadline for the streaming service, and must be able to “distill the essence of a movie/show and share findings in a concise manner.”

Can you speak Japanese? If so, then your chances might be better as Netflix has also opened a second search for an editorial analyst for their Japanese streamers.
