He isn’t getting answers from his parents or Jorie, and the principal and teachers often give him conflicting stories. As he discovers the difficulties his sister endured, he learns a little more about himself and is able to see things in a much clearer light.

ABC is now searching for aspiring writers for the 2018 ABC talent showcase.

ABC has announced their opportunity for aspiring writers to submit to their 2017 talent showcase for original scenes.

The deadline is May 18, 2018, at 11:59 EST. 

ABC casting is seeking original scene submissions for their upcoming talent 2018 ABC showcase. This one-night event is produced by the ABC casting department to showcase new talent in the industry. The talent showcase offers an opportunity for aspiring writers to show off their skills to some of the industry’s biggest executives, producers, and agents.

It was launched in 2012 and since then 50 new writers and 46 original scenes have been selected. Writers that have worked on the show have later written in TV pilots for ABC and have gone on to join Late Night with Seth Meyers.

To apply applicants must send at most three scenes. Each scene must have a beginning middle and end and be limited to two characters. The page count for each scene should not exceed six pages.

Casting Requirements:
-Must submit photos of the top & palm of each hand:
We prefer two photos total (Both hands face up in the same picture & then another picture of both hands palm’s up in the same photo). This will require someone to take the photos for you. Please make sure ALL of your fingers are in the picture. We suggest moisturizing before taking them!
