About The Mule:

According to reports, Clint Eastwood’s next movie The Mule is  based on the life of 90-year old drug courier Leo Sharp. Sharp was an award-winning horticulturist and decorated WWII veteran known for his prized day lilies when he was busted for running drugs for Mexico’s Sinaloa Cartel, and sent to prison at the age of 90. He was transporting $3 million worth of cocaine through Michigan in his beat-up old pickup truck when he was arrested by the DEA. Sharp was sentenced to just three years after his lawyer argued that his client’s dementia sent him down the wrong path.

‘Dora The Explorer’ Acting Auditions Leak Online (VIDEO)

Auditions for Michael Bay‘s Dora The Explorer have leaked online.

The upcoming Michael Bay live-action production, Dora The Explorer, is ramping up production and holding auditions for lead roles in the new movie.

According to reports, filming is expected to begin next month in Australia with several audition tapes leaking online. Omega Underground has reportedly uncovered a new audition tape for the role of Sammy read by an unknown actress named Mila Mary. The audition seems to allude that Sammy joins Dora along with her cousin Diego on their adventures in the wild. It seems to suggest the film will be a teen version of Tomb Raider and Mean Girls, according to the news outlet.

Off-Screen Dora – “Give those back”

Off-Screen Diego – “Come on man….”

Sammy – “Stop. Learn what no means. Be a better feminist”

Off-Screen Diego – “…I didn’t…I just”

Sammy – “No excuses. Just scram. [Looks around] There is a pep rally going on. I don’t know know why you all aren’t in the gym. Especially you. [Looks at Dora] Little girl talk. Sammy – “I wanna go home”

Off-Screen Diego – “I don’t think that is exactly possible considering people trying to shoot at us are back that way. Also! There’s no rope bridge.”

Sammy – “I’m done here. I wanna go home! I wanna be staring at my phone in  a ice cold room drinking a frozen coffee beverage. I know that sounds basic but that’s what I want right now. She’s a badass. She can come for the both of us! Why do all women have to represent everything for all women. Why can’t I just say I hate this and it sucks. And not feel bad about it? And by the way that Boots song was a lie. It was totally dangerous! Arrows was raining down on me! What the heck was that?  Hmm?”

Disney’s Jungle Cruise starring Dwayne Johnson is now casting warriors in Atlanta, Georgia.

Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming on Friday, July 6th with fittings taking place in early June in Atlanta, Georgia.

About Jungle Cruise:

According to reports, Disney’s Jungle Cruise is filming under the working title Elixer. The Rock will star and produce the adventure production. The actor closed the deal on the Disney movie last April, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The Disney live-action adaptation of the popular theme park ride will be released in spring 2018.

Jungle Cruise is one of Disneyland’s original rides and takes park-goers on a journey through Africa’s Nile and Congo rivers as well as South America’s Amazon. This news comes after Dwayne Johnson filmed nearly all of his big-budget movies in Atlanta including Jumanji, Rampage, Fast 8, and Baywatch.

Background Actor Upgraded to A Speaking Role on ‘Mr. Mercedes’ Season 2

Another background extra was upgraded to a speaking role on the set of Stephen King’s Mr. Mercedes.

Tona B. Dahlquist Casting, the extras casting company behind AT&T’s Mr. Mercedes Season 2, revealed on Facebook that a background actor was upgraded to a speaking role this week.

“Mr. Mercedes -Congratulations to Victor on his upgrade from Extra to Speaking Role on Wednesday! We are proud of you!,” Tona B. Dahlquist Casting said on Facebook.

Mr. Mercedes season 2 is now filming in Charleston, South Carolina. Mr. Mercedes, based on Stephen King’s 2014 book of the same name, follows a demented killer who taunts a retired police detective with a series of lurid letters and emails, forcing the ex-cop to undertake a private, and potentially felonious, crusade to bring the killer to justice before he is able to strike again.

This is not the first time a background actor as upgraded to a speaking role. Recently, on the set of Kevin Hart’s new movie Night School, a background actor was also upgraded to a principal speaking role. Tyler Perry also has a history of upgrading background extras to speaking roles.
