Actor Riz Ahmed has experience working on major motion pictures, TV shows, and productions. One of his most prominent roles includes playing Imperial cargo pilot Bodhi Rook in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. However, while appearing on The Jonathan Ross Show, Ahmed spoke about how much he wanted the part and how it made him a little bit crazy.
Ahmed admits that he wanted to be in the Star Wars spinoff so severely that he pushed the limits to convince the director he was right for the part. He says, “I went a bit overboard, a bit over the top, I got a bit obsessive about my work. They were like, ‘Could you read for this scene?’ And the director made the stupid mistake of giving me his email address so I recorded an audition and I sent it to him … I started thinking, ‘Hang on a minute, I can do it better’ so I sent him another audition. And I sent him another one.”

But Ahmed did stop there. Three takes were not enough. He reveals, “Over the next three days I sent him 14 different versions of this scene. And the thing is when I watch them back now, they are not even that different. I just changed my clothes!”
Ahmed ended up getting the role on Rogue One. But it begs the question – would this work for every aspiring actor?
Millie Bobby Brown’s iconic Stranger Things character Eleven was not supposed to make it past the first season of Netflix’s Stranger Things, which was originally pitched as a limited series.
However, “once we realized that the show was potentially going to go on longer than one season, we needed to leave it more up in the air, because deep down we knew the show just wouldn’t really work without Eleven,” co-creator Ross Duffer revealed in Stranger Things: Worlds Turned Upside Down: The Official Behind-The-Scenes Companion. “And at that point, we knew how special [Millie Bobby Brown] was. If there was going to be more Stranger Things, Eleven had to come back.”

Millie Bobby Brown’s character was not the only character who was going to die. Steve Harrington, played by Joe Keery, was also meant to die in season one. “This Steve character, he was just supposed to be this giant douchebag,” the book reveals, adding that Keery becoming a fan favorite convinced them to change his destiny.
Other interesting facts about the show revealed in the new book include plans to never reveal the upside down world, but after filming 5 episodes, they knew something had to change.
“We thought that’d be scarier. What we don’t see is often scarier than what we do. And that worked for a while. But once we got five hours in, we felt the show really needed to open up, expand. It just became increasingly obvious: we had to go into the Upside-Down.”

Producers are seeking the following types:
HOMELESS MAN: Male, any ethnicity, who looks in the 40’s to 60’s age range, must have a downscale homeless look and good charactery homeless wardrobe.
LEG INJURY PATIENT: Male, who looks Caucasian and looks in the 20’s age range. No visible tattoos. You will have a fake open wound injury added to your leg, with fake maggots added (I think they use rice). You must be comfortable with fake blood and make-up and maggots, and be a brand new face to the show.
DRUG DEALER with BLACK SUV: Male, any ethnicity, who looks like a inner city bad neighborhood drug dealer type, with a black or charcoal grey SUV. You must have the look AND the vehicle in order to submit.
About The Resident:
According to Deadline, The Resident centers around Devon Pravesh (Manish Dayal) a young doctor who begins his first day working with senior resident Conrad Hawkins who pulls the curtain back on all of the good and evil in modern-day medicine. Lives may be saved or lost, but expectations will always be shattered.
