‘BILLIONS’ Season 3 is Now Casting Models in NYC

Showtime’s BILLIONS season 3 is now casting models and wealthy types for a boxing match scene in New York City.

Grant Wilfley Casting is looking for actors to play model types and upscale wealthy types for a boxing match scene. Filming will shoot on Tuesday, January 15th and 16th in Manhattan, New York City. Talents will be compensated $165/day for their work on the show. Talents must be local to New York, over 18, and have a legal and valid ID.

About Billions:

 Wealth, influence, and corruption collide in this drama set in New York. Shrewd U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhoades is embroiled in a high-stakes game of predator vs. prey with Bobby Axelrod, an ambitious hedge-fund king. To date, Rhoades has never lost an insider trading case — he’s 81-0 — but when criminal evidence turns up against Axelrod, he proceeds cautiously in building the case against Axelrod, who employs Rhoades’ wife, psychiatrist Wendy, as a performance coach for his company. Wendy, who has been in her position longer than Chuck has been in his, refuses to give up her career for her husband’s legal crusade against Axelrod. Both men use their intelligence, power, and influence to outmaneuver the other in this battle over billions. The high-profile cast is led by Emmy winners Paul Giamatti (“John Adams”) and Damian Lewis (“Homeland”) as Chuck Rhoades and Bobby Axelrod, respectively.

This unscripted BuzzFeed video aims to showcase couples engaging in close quarters for a freestyle Rap Battle. Previous rap experience is not required; they just need to have a basic sense of rhythm. They will be freestyle rapping about each other (obviously not expecting Tupac quality). Looking for a warm on-screen dynamic interaction between 2 people, they must feel very comfortable improvising rhythms and lyrics on the spot and be a little silly or sassy.

Casting directors are now casting athletes for upcoming commercial filming in the Austin, Texas.

Casting directors are looking for amputee athletes, long distance female runners, female weightlifters, female tennis players, male basketball players, dancers and yoga students, and fitness instructors. Talents will be compensated $2,000 and $500 per shoot day.

FEMALE WEIGHT LIFTERS: Female, 20’s/30’s, We are NOT looking for a bodybuilder but someone with a muscular strong build or maybe even a thicker muscular body type. Someone with true weightlifting experience preferred. Must be able to leg press a significant amount of weight for multiple takes.

TENNIS FEMALE: Female, 20’s, fit and active. Must be a good tennis player and able to hit a hard serve and rush the net.

MALE BASKETBALL PLAYERS: Male, Asian, Teens / early 20’s, Real type or maybe even heavy set. Must be able to shoot a basket ball accurately.

MALE AND FEMALE MODERN DANCERS/YOGA STUDENTS: Males and Females, Yoga Students or Modern Dancers, 20’s/40’s, Real people, ranging from heavy to slim. Need to be able to handle some basic yoga skills (Yoga experience a MUST). If anyone has dance experience (modern/ballet) they may be features in an additional solo dance scene.

MALE AND FEMALE SWIMMERS: Male and Female, 20’s – 40’s, Must be fit and active. Must be a real swimmer with a good freestyle or backstroke. Must be able to do a flip turn. FEMALE AEROBIC DANCE INSTRUCTOR/FITNESS MARTIAL ARTS CLASS INSTRUCTOR: Females, Aerobic Dancers and Fitness Martial Arts Class – 30’s / 40’s. Real people, ranging from heavy to slim. A real aerobic dance instructor will be necessary. Previous experience a necessity. Also if any of them have karate or martial arts experience that will be important to note as these talent will also be doing martial arts class type set up.

It’s official. Margot Robbie to star in an upcoming live-action Barbie movie.

According to E! News, Warner Bros., and Mattel have reached a deal to bring the franchise to theaters in their first ever live-action feature film.

“This project is a great start to our partnership with [Ynon Kreiz] and Mattel Films,” said Toby Emmerich, chairman of Warner Bros. Pictures Group. “And Margot is the ideal producer and actress to bring Barbie to life on screen in a fresh and relevant way for today’s audiences.”

Margot Robbie is co-producing the movie under her LuckyChap Entertainment production company.

The Barbie movie was originally produced by Sony Pictures, but the movie studio passed on the project and Mattel took back the rights. Margot Robbie signed a deal with Warner Bros. in 2016.

The feature film is now in development and no casting calls have been released yet. Nor has the release date and the director been announced yet.

Amy Schumer was originally cast to play Barbie, with a release date set for June 29, 2018. However, she dropped out of the project in 2017. In a statement, Schumer said, “Sadly, I’m no longer able to commit to Barbie due to scheduling conflicts. The film has so much promise, and Sony and Mattel have been great partners. I’m bummed, but look forward to seeing Barbie on the big screen.” A Sony spokesperson said, “We respect and support Amy’s decision. We look forward to bringing Barbie to the world and sharing updates on casting and filmmakers soon.”

Here’s What the ‘Bird Box’ Monsters Were Supposed to Look Like

Netflix’s original movie Bird Box has dominated the internet since its release last month. From memes to the viral Bird Box challenge, another question everyone has been asking is what exactly do those “invisible” monsters look like?

Thanks to special effects makeup designer Andy Bergholtz, who worked on the movie, shared several pictures of what the creatures were supposed to look like. Of course, this is just one version of the monster, considering each victim saw something different. The film’s choice in never revealing the monster created more suspense, considering viewers had to use their own imaginations to create their own monsters.

Check out the creation below shared by Bergholtz, which was sadly cut from the final film. “Keep in mind, the fatal ‘vision’ that each character saw would most likely be different for each person,” he explained in the caption. “You’ll understand if you’ve seen the film. […] Considering her pregnant state and emotional arc thru the movie, the producers felt Sandra’s nightmare would have something to do with a twisted, demonic baby creature attacking her.”

Jimmy Fallon’s version of the Bird Box monster

The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon parodied the hit Netflix movie Bird Box on Monday with a little help from special guest Lindsay Lohan, The Roots, and Steve Higgins.

In the parody, Fallon delivered Sandra Bullock’s serious opening monologue and told The Roots and his “sidekick” to cover their eyes before they go outside. Instead of being faced with invisible creatures, they were confronted with Lindsay Lohan.
