An upcoming insurance commercial is now casting models in Toronto, Ontario.

Morgan Casting is now seeking talent for a print campaign for a major insurance company in Canada. Filming will shoot in Toronto, Ontario and talents will be copmensated between $1,200 to $1,500 for one full shoot day and usage. Auditions will be held the week of January 21st.

Morgan Casting is currently seeking 25 talent to shoot a print campaign for a major Insurance Company in Canada.
Seeking Ontario residents. Must be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant to Canada to apply.

Pays $1500 (+ 20% agency fee if represented) for adults & $1200 (+ 20% agency fee if represented) for kids.
Rates are to cover up to 1 full shoot day + usage.

Melissa McCarthy opens up about being called “sloppy” during a press conference.

Melissa McCarthy recalled an experience with a reporter, where he negatively commented on her appearance in a room full of other members of the press.

“I always feel like those characters become so real and personal. I really get protective. Years ago I was at a press conference for either The Heat or Tammy, and somebody from a very big organization kept asking me, ‘Why do you always feel the need to be so grotesque?’” she told InStyle.

“It was a huge interview with maybe 100 people in the room, and he was sneering. I said, ‘What are we talking about? I can’t answer your question because I don’t understand it.’”

“He goes, ‘You look sloppy, you’re not wearing any makeup, your hair is not done, you’re yelling at people.’ I was like, ‘OK, so have you ever asked this of a guy? I’m playing a character. You need to get out more if you don’t think there are real women like that.’”

“He goes, ‘Oh, fine, I’m aggressive, call it whatever you want. If you don’t want to answer the questions, you shouldn’t come to the panel.’ I was like, ‘I really want to answer your questions. I’m sorry I didn’t wear makeup in a part. I’m sorry I didn’t look pleasant for you. But I also don’t think you should be here writing about movies.’”

Melissa McCarthy went on to describe another interview where there was fat-shamed by a reporter who would later lose their job over another matter.

“I do remember another interview I did for Bridesmaids with somebody who later lost his job for a conversation he had on a bus with someone else. I won’t mention names but just think about it. ”

“He kept asking, ‘Are you shocked that you actually work in this business at your tremendous size?’ He was like, ‘Oh, your tremendous size, you can actually work?’ I just remember all the blood drained out of me.”

“I thought, ‘With my tremendous size, I could tackle you so quickly.’ There were two cameras on him, and one was on me, and he went back to that question three or four times, and I just kept talking about the script or how fun Paul Feig was. He was looking around like, ‘She’s crazy,’” Melissa continued.

“When we left, their producer was horrified and said, ‘We’ll never play what he said. I’m so sorry.’ But it happens all the time, to the point where it’s fascinating because they don’t do it to men.”

Paskal Rudnicke Casting is looking for general contractors and door framers for a TV commercial. Casting directors are looking for general contractors who have experience framing doors. Producers are looking for men between the ages of 40 to 60 years old and live in the Chicago area. Talents will be compensated $2,000 for their work in the upcoming commercial.

Auditions will take place and interviews will be conducted surrounding your door framing and contracting experience. To be considered you must be available to audition on Monday, January 14th, available for a fitting on January 29th and a film shoot on January 30th, if hired.

Shaheen Baig Casting in partnership with Pulse Films is now casting a lead speaking role for an upcoming feature film. Casting directors are looking for London based kid actors to feature in a film for BBC Films, starring Riz Ahmed.

Casting directors are looking for kid and teen actors of Pakistani descent between the ages of 8 to 14 years old. No previous acting experience is required, “just enthusiasm and interest”
