‘The Unauthorized Saved By the Bell Story‘ is coming to ruin your childhood.

Dustin Diamond (Screech) wrote a book several years ago about working on the show Saved by the Bell and how everyone except for him was abusing drugs and have sex with each other. The entire book did not really do that well, and Diamond later apologized for exaggerating some of the stories.

But, Dustin Diamond‘s book doesn’t Lifetime from producing a movie about Saved by the Bell

Now, thanks to hours of brand new interviews conducted for this film (obtained independently of Diamond and his book), the real story will be brought to life in The Unauthorized Saved By The Bell Story, a new Lifetime television movie that guarantees no one will be able to look at the classic kids’ comedy the same way ever again! Saved by the Bell featured Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Dustin Diamond, Lark Voorhies, Dennis Haskins, Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, Elizabeth Berkley, and Mario Lopez. Saved by the Bell would later lead the way to other shows such as Beverly Hills, 90210, Dawson’s Creek, and The O.C. that introduce young audiences to critical moral dilemmas.

The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story premieres September 1st at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.

Harrison Ford’s Injury is Worse than We All Thought

Harrison Ford’s injury is worse than we all thought, he required surgery and will take eight weeks before he maybe able to get back on set of Star Wars: Episode VII.

Do you recall the story about Harrison Ford breaking his ankle on the Millennium Falcon in London? Well his injury is worse than we thought.

Harrison Ford suffered a broken leg and required surgery. In a statement about the accident Harrison Ford‘s Rep, Ina Treciokas, confirmed that it was initially reported as an ankle injury had turned out to be a break in his left leg.

“Harrison’s left leg was broken in the accident. His surgery was successful and he will begin rehab shortly. He’s doing well and looks forward to returning to work.”

Disney confirmed to TheWrap that shooting on J.J. Abrams‘ Star Wars: Episode VII will remain on schedule while Ford’s leg heals. It is reported that it will take up to eight weeks.

Harrison Ford will return to his legendary role of Han Solo, in the upcoming Star Wars sequel. The actor was injured by the door of the Millennium Falcon, the spacecraft the character used in the original films.

Star Wars: Episode VII features  John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Lupita Nyong’o and Max von Sydow. Along with the original cast,Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker.

FOX’s Batman Prequel, “Gotham” Reveals The Show’s Villains [VIDEO]

Fox has released a new teaser trailer for it’s new Batman prequel, Gotham.

The new trailer gives you an inside look at the villains featured in the series. Including Camren Bicondova, Robin Lord Taylor and Jada Pinkett Smith.

Gotham is produced by Warner Bros. TV and is based on the characters from the hit DC comic book series. The show is written/executive produced by Bruno Heller, directed by Danny Cannon and executive produced by John Stephens.

The new TV series is based upon the Batman universe. Gotham, centers on the origin stories of Commissioner Jones Gordon played by Ben McKenzie, as a rookie detective in Gotham City, and Bruce Wayne after the death of his parents, and the villains that made Gotham City infamous.

Filming is currently taking place in New York City as casting directors are holding an open casting call this Wednesday, June 25th in NYC.

FOX’s ‘Sleepy Hollow’ Season 2 Casting Call for TWO Featured Roles

FOX ‘Sleepy Hollow’posted a casting call seeking African American actors as well as a stand-in for a leading actress in the TV series.

This modern-day twist on Washington Irving’s classic, ICHABOD CRANE (Tom Mison, “Salmon Fishing in the Yemen”) is resurrected and pulled two and a half centuries through time to unravel a mystery that dates all the way back to the founding fathers. Revived alongside Ichabod is the infamous Headless Horseman who is on a murderous rampage in present-day Sleepy Hollow. Ichabod quickly realizes that stopping Headless is just the beginning, as the resurrected rider is but the first of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and only one of the many formidable foes that Ichabod must face to protect not only Sleepy Hollow, but the world (FOX).

‘Insurgent’ centers on Beatrice Prior as she must confront her inner demons and continue her fight against a powerful alliance which threatens to tear her society apart.

‘Insurgent’ features  Shailene Woodley, Theo James, and Miles Teller. The upcoming ‘Divergent’ sequel will be directed by Robert Schwentke

The upcoming production has been code-named “Mineral” in order to protect the production of the feature film.

Insurgent will hit theaters on March 20, 2015. The release date for Allegiant is March 18, 2016.

Chelsea Handler Lands Ground Breaking Series with Netflix

Chelsea Handler has landed her next TV gig and it is one show that will change the way the world watches TV.

Chelsea Handler‘s next TV opportunity will be on Netflix. After months of negotiations, the streaming service announced a deal with Handler that includes a talk show, a stand up special and four docu-comedy specials.

Similar to her E! late-night show that is expected to end on August 26 this year, will feature Handler’s opinions on topics of the day and guest interviews.

It has not been reported how often the show will air, if it will be daily, weekly or monthly. “The Internet has disrupted many of the conventions of traditional television and together with Chelsea Handler, Netflix is looking forward to reimagining the late night talk show for the on-demand generation, starting with the late night part….” said Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos.

What this means is that Netflix is planning on delivering a late-night show that is not based on a time period but on an on-demand fashion.

Chelsea Handler was recently interviewed on the Howard Stern Show and she called E! “a sad, sad place to live” and “a failure,”. She went on to say that she wanted to do something outside of the box to keep herself interested. “I wanted to sit with the cool kids at lunch so I approached Netflix to make sure they were as cool as I thought they were, and when I confirmed my suspicions, like with any other future lover, I made my move. I’m more excited than I’ve been in awhile, and the team at Netflix is the most forward thinking, alert group I’ve sat down with in ages. No offense to the Shahs Of Sunset.”

Chelsea Handler is expected to tape an one-hour stand-up special during the June 20th stop of her tour “Uganda Be Kidding Me” in Chicago. The stand-up will premiere on Netflix in October 10, 2014. The following year Chelsea Handler will create four new docu-comedy specials for Netflix centering on her experiencing different things like, politics, to Silicon Valley and the NBA draft.

Study: Internet Providers Don’t Provide Speeds they Advertise

FCC study shows that internet providers don’t provide the speeds they advertise a majority of the time.

According to a recent study by the Federal Communications Commission, Verizon DSL customers have the worst experience with internet speeds. The study shows that a typical night when the usage is the highest, 95% of Verizon DSL customers received only 42% of their total advertised download speed.

According to Deadline, the FCC plans on sending letters to the CEOs of Verizon as well as Centurylink, Frontier DSL and Windstream to discover how they plan on fixing the issue.

“Consumers deserve to get what they pay for,” Chairman Tom Wheeler says. “While it’s encouraging to see that in the past these reports have encouraged providers to improve their services, I’m concerned that some providers are failing to deliver consistent speeds to consumers that are commensurate to their advertised speeds.”

If you have Comcast you should be relatively happy. 95% of Comcast customers received 98% of their total advertised download speeds. While Time Warner Cable, Charter and Cox at 93%. AT&T trailed behind with 62%.

If you’re a Verizon Fiber your receiving better internet connection than advertised with 101% while Cablevision tops the list with 117%.

A majority of the internet service providers improved their performance. But, at the same time others did little to change. Only a small portion offered slightly more than half of what their total advertised speeds.

Do your research before signing on that dotted line because, at the end of the day you’re most likely getting less than what you paid for.

Watching the trailer you can feel the start of an epic battle between man vs animal. ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes‘ centers on a growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a group of human survivors following the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier that killed large part of the human population.

Humans and apes reach peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.

Director Matt Reeves’ directed Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes  which stars Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Toby Kebbell, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Enrique Murciano and Kirk Acevedo. Mark Bomback and Rich Jaffa & Amanda Silver wrote the production.

CBS Under the Dome is based on Stephen King’s bestselling novel about a small town that is suddenly and inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by a massive transparent dome.

Casting directors are looking for a photo double and stand-in for the actor Eddie Cahill. Cahill best known for portraying “Miracle on Ice” goalie Jim Craig in the movie Miracle, and for playing the roles of Tag Jones on Friends and Detective Don Flack on CSI: NY.

Filming is scheduled for Tomorrow, Thursday, June 19th.

A&E’s ‘Longmire’ posted a casting call for extras to play townsfolk for a scene filming in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Longmire is a crime drama that premiered in the summer of 2012 on A&E. The series was created by John Coveny and Hunt Baldwin and is based on the novel series written by Craig Johnson. The plot of the show follows Walt Longmire, the Sherrif of Absarok County, Wyoming.

Longmire returns to his job after his wife dies. But, with the assistance of his daughter, new deputy, and best friend, Longmire investigates major crimes and prepares to run for Sherrif. Starring Robert Tayler, Katee Sackhoff, and Bailey Chase. Produced by Warner Horizon Television and The Shephard/Robin Company.

Johnny Tapia Boxing Champion Movie Open Casting Call in Albuquerque, New Mexico

“Johnny” the upcoming feature film about Johnny Tapia, the Boxing Champion of the World is holding an open Casting call in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

According to KRQE, Albuquerque will be the location for the new film “Johnny” based on the life of the legendary Boxer Johnny Tapia.

“Filmmakers say it makes sense that the film is shot here because so much of Tapia’s life took place in the Duke City. The production looks to hire right around 230 actors, extras and crew members. The film office says they’ll use mostly New Mexicans.”

Filming starts next month.

Midthunder Casting is holding an open casting call for speaking roles in the upcoming Johnny Tapia feature film. Actors that are selected will get paid $504/day. Producers are looking for Hispanic Boys ages 2 and age 7 to portray “Young Johnny” and Hispanic Men ages 60’s to 70’s to play Johnny’s Grandfather.

The Open casting call will be held at University Village Hotel (BallRoom) on Saturday, June 21st, 2014 from 2: t0 5:00PM.
