San Francisco, California Casting Call – HBO’s “LOOKING” is casting men and women to work on a park scene in San Francisco

HBO’s ‘Looking’ centers on the experiences of three close friends living and loving in modern-day San Francisco. Casting directors are looking for actors to play Halloween Store customers, and party guests in an upcoming scene.

Beau Bonneau Casting is looking for Bay Area actors ages 18 and older to work on the second season of HBO’s drama ‘Looking’. Filming will take place in San Francisco and producers are looking for talent to work on a rural town dive bar scene, in addition to a Country gay bar scene.

Filming will take place on Thursday, October 30th and Friday, October 31st.

We are casting Bay Area local Extras 18yrs & over for LOOKING, an HBO dramedy revolving around the lives of 3 gay friends living in SF, shooting Mon – Fri through 11/20 mostly in SF. There is a constant need for Men & Women in their 20s-30s to portray Hipsters, Techies, LGBTQ Community, Bar Goers, etc. Friends & Real Couples encouraged. * Rural Town Divey Gay Bar Goers Thurs 10/30 approx 10AM-7PM – Men 21- mid 40s to portray blue collar/country casual gay bar goers in Modesto, but shoots in Oakland.

* Picture Pick Thurs 10/30 approx 10AM-7PM – Featured Extras: Lycra Outfit Guy, Early 20s for small, divey, rural/country gay bar scenes (supposed to be Modesto, but shoots in Oakland). Director will photo select 1 man with avg (not super fit) to pudgy physique willing to wear & dance in a production provided silver lycra outfit described as a head-to-toe onesie. He is dancing with a lesbian couple when actors enter. Note 10/30 Lycra in subject line of submission

* Picture Pick Thurs 10/30 approx 10AM-7PM – Featured Extras: 2 Men in their 20s, 1 more reserved/shy looking & 1 with more hot blue collar type looks, will be photo selected by Director for small, divey, rural/country gay bar scenes (supposed to be Modesto, but shoots in Oakland). Lonely guy noticed by cast members, almost invited to dance, when his hot young friend/boyfriend shows up and they share a kiss hello. * Must be willing to kiss on camera! Real couples/friends willing to kiss encouraged. Will be recognizable, but no speaking lines. Note 10/30 Kiss in subject line of submission

* SF Park Goers Fri 10/31 approx 7AM-1PM – popular Mission neighborhood park goers, Men & Women 18-45, Hipsters & “Gay Beach” section, may need some sunbathers. Note 10/31 Park in subject line of submission.

Hours/Rates: Shoots can last 8 up to 12 hours. Approx time frames given when provided. Exact report time unknown until eve before & we never know end time. MTV ‘Scream’ TV Series is Coming Soon

MTV is going forward on a Scream TV series.

According to reports, MTV has greenlit its “Scream” TV series for a 10-episode first season set to premiere in 2015.

Jill Blotevogel from “Harper’s Island” and “Ravenswood” will executive produce the MTV Scream series. She previously revised the pilot script which was written by Jay Beattie and Dan Dworkin from “Criminal Minds,” “The Event” and “Revenge”.

Willa Fitzgerald, Amy Forsyth, John Karna, Carlson Young and Amadeus Serafini starred on the pilot, which marks the first time Scream is being made into a TV series. Jamie Travis (“For a Good Time Call” and MTV’s “Faking It”) directed the MTV pilot.

The “Scream” franchise first started off in 1996 with the first movie directed by Wes Craven and starring Neve Campbell. The big-screen adaptations ended with “Scream 4” four years.

Hugh Jackman Diagnosed with Skin Cancer for a Third Time this Year

Hugh Jackman was treated for skin cancer for a third time in a year.

Hugh Jackman has been fighting a yearlong battle with skin cancer. Wolverine was recent treated for his third basal cell carcinoma in the past 12 months. His rep told E! News that the procedure went well and that Hugh Jackman is currently “all good.”

Hugh Jackman has revealed that he used to spend a lot of time outdoors as a kid without protection from the sun.

The actor previously had cancer cells removed in November 2013 and then again this May. On October 27th, Jackman posted a photo on Instagram that contained the title of Baz Luhrmann’s song “Everybody’s Free (To Wear Sunscreen).” Jackman added the words, “SUNSCREEN!”

Hugh Jackman is currently working on the upcoming Broadway play, The River.

Imagine Dragons Music Video Extras Casting Call in Phoenix

The hit recording group, Imagine Dragons is shooting a music video near Phoenix, Arizona on Thursday, October 30th and according to OLV, they are looking for extras to fill a crowd scene.

Imagine Dragons are an American Indie rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada. The band gained exposure following the September 2012 release of their debut studio album, Night Visions and first single “It’s Time”. The album peaked at number 2 on the weekly Billboard 200 chart and led to a worldwide tour during much of 2013. MTVcalled them “the year’s biggest breakout band.”

According to reports, “This isn’t a paid gig, but anyone over 16 with ID (and a parent with them if they’re under 18) is welcome to attend.”

“The video will have a timeless look, so they are asking people to wear muted colors (jeans, neutral/muted-colored tops, t-shirts, polos or button downs. Greys, light-yellows, browns or light-blues),” according to a Facebook page announcing the casting call. All participants must also stay the entire day. Food and water will be provided.

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Star Calls Out ‘Racist’ Halloween Costumes

Jesse Williams from ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ argues against racist Halloween costumes on Twitter.

“Grey’s Anatomy” actor Jesse Williams went to Twitter on Tuesday to discuss what he believes are “racist” Halloween costumes.

“What about black pain is so fun to you? From where is that joy derived?” Williams tweeted to his nearly a million followers.

The Chicago actor then called out Halloween costumes he considered racist including those depicting Trayvon Martin, the African American teenager who was killed by George Zimmerman two years ago in Sanford, Florida.

The actor has frequently used social media and the Internet to voice his beliefs about race. Jesse Williams also participated in a “Ferguson October” protest in Missouri and voiced his concerns regarding no charges were filed against Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson. “A man sworn to protect & serve, shot an unarmed teen 6 times from a distance with witnesses & every gesture is being made not to charge him,” Williams wrote.

The actor not only had a bone to pick with Ferguson, Missouri. The Grey’s Anatomy actor argued against the movie Noah was racist.

“Instead of making all white ‘Noah,’ when it would be physically impossible for all those people to be white, or ‘Exodus’ when we know for a fact that the Egyptians were not white, Rhamses and Moses are all white, while the slaves and the servants and the thieves are black. That’s racism,” Williams said.

Baseball player Jose Canseco accidentally shoots himself

Former major league outfielder was cleaning his gun when it fired, according to police.

Jose Canseco was cleaning his gun when it went off Tuesday afternoon, nearly severing his finger, according to the Associated Press. The major league outfielder is undergoing surgery after the incident at University Medical Center of Southern Nevada.

According to reports, the finger will either have to be amputated fully or undergo full reconstructive surgery. Doctors have purportedly already told the couple the retired slugger will never regain full use of his left hand.

Jose Canseco played for several teams from 1985 to 2001. In 2005, he admitted to using anabolic steroids and claimed a large majority of other players did the same. He would later work on the reality show “Celebrity Apprentice“.

Celebrity Feud – Tommy Lee Jones Hated Jim Carrey while filming the Batman sequel, Batman Forever.

Jim Carrey went on The Howard Stern Show yesterday to convince everyone to see Dumb and Dumber To and relive previous life experiences. But, during the course of the conversation with the Howard Stern crew Carey directly addressed an old rumor that Tommy Lee Jones hated Jim Carrey while they filmed Joel Schumacher’s Batman Forever.

Tommy Lee Jones played Two-Face and Jim Carrey was The Riddler in Batman Forever. One year prior to filming, Dumb and Dumber made $16M in its opening weekend and would later make $247M in the box office. Jim Carrey’s movie opened against Cobb starring Tommy Lee Jones. Cobb centered around the baseball player Ty Cobb. Cobb ended up making less than a million dollars in theaters and $64,000 its opening weekend.

Jim Carrey explains his first meeting with Jones in the video below. But, here’s the transcribed version by Uproxx.

“I was really looking forward to working with Tommy, because he’s a fantastic actor, and he still is to me. I love him, I mean he’s amazing, but he was a little crusty. He was a little crusty. Sometimes that Rhodes Scholarship is more of a weapon than an asset.

“I think he was just a little freaked out because Dumb and Dumber came out on the same weekend as Cobb, and Cobb was his big swing for the fences and that didn’t work out and that freaked him out a bit.

“I walked into a restaurant the night before our big scene in The Riddler’s lair. [The maître d informed Carrey that Tommy Lee Jones was also in the restaurant.]

“I went up to say hi [to Jones] and the blood drained from his face, in such a way that I realized that I had become the face of his pain or something. He got up, kind of shaking and hugged me and said ‘I hate you. I really don’t like you.’ And I was like ‘Wow, okay. Well, what’s going on man?’ And he said, ‘I cannot sanction your buffoonery.’[…] I said, ‘I think this part requires that the tone of this thing is kind of childlike evil and stuff, and I think you might have trouble there, so I wish you the best.’” [emphasis ours]

It is not easy to be an actor. You are putting yourself out there for millions to criticize, patronize and even ignore. Kudos to Jim Carrey for going out on set the following day and doing the Batman Forever scene knowing that your fellow actor hates your guts. That’s true acting!

Producers are looking for background extras to work on several scenes filming in December. To audition for an extra role on the new TV pilot, check out the casting call details below:

TV Pilot Casting Call

ANNOUNCING OUR NEW PROJECT – Seeking those interested in working as background extras for a Premium Cable TV pilot to be filmed in the Rock Hill area in December. Sorry we are unable to give you more details other than -it’s going to be a very cool show you will want to be a part of! Filming will take place in December.
Those of all ages, ethnicities and types will be needed for filming.
Please submit 2 CURRENT SNAPSHOTS (must be current photos). One photo should be a full length/full body shot and the other a closer up photo of your face. These photos can be taken with a cell phone.

Along with TWO PHOTOS, all submissions should include the following information;
NAME
PHONE
AGE
CITY AND STATE YOU RESIDE
HEIGHT/WEIGHT
CLOTHING SIZES (For males – jacket, dress shirt -neck and sleeve, casual shirt, pants -waist and inseam and shoe. For females -dress, shirt/top, pants/skirt, shoe along with your measurements if you know them)
COLOR, MALE, MODEL & YEAR VEHICLE you drive (we will be needing those with vehicles for filming several scenes)
LIST ANY TATTOOS & PIERCINGS which can be seen in Spring and Summer attire and if you do or do not have an ARTIST RELEASE FOR YOUR TATTOOS you can provide.
LIST YOUR AVAILABILITY -1 day, Multiple days, As much as needed.
SUBMISSION HEADING -should include your Age Ethnicity, Gender, City/State you reside. EXAMPLE -18,Hispanic Male, Charlotte,NC.

Jerome Jarre has come a long way from living in a small town in France to having more than 8 million followers on Vine.

He recently released a new video revealing that prior to Vine he was not the happiest guy in the room. But, after making a friend he turned his life around. Then the rise of Vine has allowed him to reach places he has never imagined. He recently moved to New York a year ago, and his popularity grew.

Since moving to New York he has become a household name for many Vine users. This popularity raised corporations interests and an advertising company offered the star a million dollars. The Vine star quickly turned the money down because he was still not happy.

Typically a high-profile Vine user can make $30 thousand per single sponsored Vine. At that rate, Jarre would only have to do 3 Vines per month in under 18 seconds to become a millionaire.

The problem with the video is that he is most likely already a millionaire and that this offer was nothing in comparison to the offers he is currently receiving or has received in the past. But, at the end of the day Jarre’s message of living the life to the fullest is inspiring.

Some kids grow up wanting to become doctors, scientists, and the President of the United States. Others grow up wanting to become famous. Now, after a sex tape, three weddings and seven seasons of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim Kardashian’s prediction of becoming famous has came true.

During Kim Kardashian’s eighth-grade graduation video, Kim Kardashian vowed that she will one day become famous. “Someone get a tape of this? I hope you do, so you can see this when I’m famous and all of you will remember me as this beautiful little girl.”

Some people say that the video reveals a determined pre-teen who will one day stop at nothing in order to become successful. Others say she is just narcissistic.

Mr. Incredible Gets in a Fight with Batgirl on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Fight Breaks out on Hollywood Walk of Fame featuring your favorite Superheroes and villains.

I am pretty sure you want to know the details here and I completely understand. But, it is not clear as to what caused the fight.

The footage was captured by a passing production company. Hollywood’s Walk of Fame features a large number of people who dress up in well-known costumes and charge tourists on the iconic sidewalk to have pictures taken with the

Chewbacca, Waldo, Freddy Kreuger attempted to stop the two superheroes from trading blows but it was too late. Between Mr. Incredible’s super strength and Batgirl’s razor claws the two superheroes started fighting on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame.

Tourists looked on to see Freddy Krueger trying to calm the situation and Chewbacca trying to hold back Mr. Incredible. But, after Batgirl scratches Mr. Incredible in the face, the character enrages and probably started using his super strength.

Watch this ‘Shia LaBeouf’ video of a cannibalistic Shia LaBeouf.

In an amazing mixture between Citizen Kane, Shia LaBeouf, Broadway and horror movies, Rob Cantor and his ensemble of musicians, dancers, and celebrities create this amazing 4 minute story centering around Shia LaBeouf.

The video is essentially a short story where Shia LaBeouf is trying to kill you. LaBeouf chases you through the woods, attacks you with a knife, and you end up in a battle to the death. But, the ending offers an amazing twist. It features Shia LaBeouf standing up to escape the spotlight. Eventually, the light finds his face and he realizes he can’t escape it and sits back down; amazing staging.

Check Out The Trailer For Robin Williams’ Christmas Movie

Robin Williams is an amazing actor and although he may no longer be with us, he has a few finished movies left that will give fans their last chance to witness his amazing acting abilities. The upcoming wacky holiday movie, “A Merry Friggin’ Christmas,” will feature Robin Williams, Joel McHale, Clark Duke, Oliver Platt, Candice Bergen and Lauren Graham and will center around a man who has to team up with his estranged father for a road trip through a blizzard in order to get the Christmas presents for the son he’s forgotten at home.

There are going to be a ton of laughs, hijinks, and Christmas love. “A Merry Friggin’ Christmas” hits theaters on November 7th.
