Model Who Quit Instagram is Now Asking for Money, Friends Call it a Hoax

Instagram model, Essena O’Neill, who quit her Instagram and Instafamous lifestyle because it was “dishonest and contrived” is now asking for people to pay her bills, according to reports.

Essena O’Neill, 19, has recently quit promoting a false reality on social media.

She is now producing content that she believes will inspire young teens.

The teen has thousands of followers on social media. Including YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.

But, now she is asking for people to pay her bills. In a newly published 17 minute long video posted on her new website, Essena O’Neill, who would spend more than 50 hours a week promoting her fake lifestyle, explains why she abandoned her “celebrity” social media status and says that without her online income she is no longer able to support herself.

‘I can’t afford rent right now,’ she said. ‘It’s like I am embarrassed to admit that I need help… if this [website] is of value to you then please support me because I can’t afford my own real life.’

However, friends of O’Neill revealed to sources close to the Daily Mail that it is all a hoax and publicity stunt.

“She’s got more Instagram followers than ever because of this publicity stunt… and on YouTube as well,” said former friends and YouTube bloggers, Nina and Randa in a clip titled “ESSENA O’NEILL Quitting Social Media Is A HOAX.”

YouTubers Nina and Randa, who Essena recently lived with in Los Angeles, have said the video is a publicity stunt. And it all started after her boyfriend broke up with her.

“When things ended with [Essena and her LA-based boyfriend]… she hated LA and I guess everyone along with it – terrible people and depressed and sad,” the beauty bloggers said.

“It was literally a complete 360 when he broke up with her… I mean 180.

“The reason she is so upset and so down is because of the break up with this guy… what she is saying is fake.”

Her friends also said she was not at the “pinnacle of success” as she was sleeping on people’s couches.

“That’s what’s so inspiring to people – this person who had money, cars, fame – she’s given up everything, but she didn’t have any of that,” they said, noting that O’Neill stayed on their couch while in LA.

“She’s still promoting herself on social media,” they added.

But Essena O’Neill has fired back saying that this is real. On her website she left the following message:

“Okay, am I the only one over these headlines? Like this is kind of my point, let’s talk about positive change and actual topics. Social pressure, reality behind paid posts, animal cruelty, environmental damage, gender equality, racism, culture appropriation, being present, living out of a 2D world – these are the headlines that should matter. Not ‘poor girl blames social media for problems’,” the statement reads.

She also commented on her “friends” in a message posted online.

“Nina And Randa, this is nothing about my personal life,” Essena commented on YouTube.

“This is about me feeling the need to constantly perfect and edit my life online. I am so grateful for everyone in LA but the feeling of misery was internal and I do blame myself for that, no one else. Please my personal life doesn’t deserve to be online.

“I’ve had these feelings about social media for ages and struggled with coming to grips with them. If this is me calling out paid posts and beach shoots?

“Guys I just want people to know my life was edited and not ‘real’. I want to use this spot light to talk about veganism, environmental awareness, body positivity…. why do you feel okay talking about my personal life to the world? This is about so much more than me. Please this isn’t right, you’ve twisted my words.”

Essena O’Neill is currently represented by IMG Models. One of the biggest modeling agencies in the world representing models such as Miranda Kerr and Gigi Hadid as clients.

Here are six movies that blatantly reused clips from other movies.

This is pretty amazing. Everyone knows that making a movie is expensive. You have to pay for catering, background actors, trucks, lighting, and a ton of other production equipment in order to turn an idea into a reality. That is why so many Hollywood producers are rushing to cities like Atlanta, where states provide film and tax incentives.

But, did you know that Hollywood reuses scenes from other movies in order to save money?

We rare not talking about paying tribute to a particular movie, we are talking about taking footage from one movie and using it again in another movie and hoping no body would notice.

History Channel ‘Vikings’ Open Casting Call for New Talent in Ireland

History Channel’s hit TV series Vikings is now holding an open casting call for extras to work on the hit TV series.

According to the casting call, the open casting call will be held on Saturday, November 14th in Liberty Hall, Eden Quay, Dublin 1 Ireland from 10:30am to 4:30pm.

Producers are looking for African, Caribbean, Middle Eastern, Asian, Mediterranean, and South American actors, models, and talent to work on the TV series.

Vikings is inspired by the sagas of Viking Ragnar Lothbrok, one of the best-known mythological Norse heroes and notorious as the scourge of England and France. It portrays Ragnar as a former farmer who rises to fame by successful raids into England with the support of his family and fellow warriors: his brother Rollo, his son Bjorn, and his wives—the shieldmaiden Lagertha and the princess Aslaug.

History Channel ‘Vikings’ Casting Call

“Vikings”, filmed in Co. Wicklow & Dublin, and shown nationally on RTE 2 and Internationally on the History Channel.

The story follows a group of Vikings travelling overseas and discovering new parts of the world. It is set around the time of the late 8th and early 9th Centuries.

A crucial part of the story is how the Vikings see and react to the contrasting cultures and nationalities they encounter for the first time when they journey south. We are currently casting for Extras – NOT VIKINGS – but the people they encounter in the regions of the Mediterranean and Africa.

We are therefore seeking to cast and employ 100’s of EXTRAS from the following backgrounds…AFRICAN, CARIBBEAN, MIDDLE EASTERN, ASIAN, MEDITERRANEAN, SOUTH AMERICAN.We will be holding an Open Casting day on Saturday 14th November at Liberty Hall, Eden Quay, Dublin 1 between 1030am – 4.30pm.

The work will be paid and there is no signing on fee or no agency fees included – we pay you directly! The Open Casting is a very quick process.

We will give each person an application form when they arrive to fill out. We will then take a photo of each person there.

It is very informal.

You can come along anytime between 1030am and 4.30pm, no appointment necessary.

The whole process should only take about 20 minutes per person.

Following the casting, we will phone people to give dates of work and ask that they come to our studio for a costume fitting prior to the day of filming.

If people have already attended our open casting earlier this year then there is no need to reapply, as you will be automatically considered.

This is a very specific open casting and you should only come along if you fit the groups denoted above.

‘True Memoirs of an International Assassin’ starring Kevin James is now hiring extras to play security guards in Atlanta, Georgia.

Hylton Casting is now hiring extras to play bodyguards for an upcoming scene in the new movie True Memoirs of an International Assassin. Filming will take place on Wednesday, November 18th in Atlanta. After years of speculation the upcoming Tupac Biopic will film in Atlanta, Georgia.

According to a help wanted ad posted on the Georgia Help Wanted Hotline, producers are now hiring crew for the upcoming feature film All Eyez On Me.

There were rumors for several years that there was going to be a Tupac biopic movie. But, following the release of the NWA biopic, Straight Outta Compton, it was reported that production for the Tupac movie moved at an record setting pace.

Now, according to these reports, it appears as though that the Tupac biopic, All Eyez on Me will film in Atlanta, Georgia.

We previously posted casting calls for the lead role in the Tupac movie several months ago. So it is nice to see that production is actually picking up on the upcoming Tupac movie.

Ben Affleck’s new movie Live By Night is now hiring crew in Atlanta, Georgia.

Ben Affleck recently commented on this upcoming project:

“Basically I’m doing a movie called Live By Night and I’m trying to meet this schedule in order to do it, in order to meet the back end so that I can have it released at the right time, and I just hadn’t gotten enough writing done and it became clear that if I took that job [acting in ‘Focus’] and was in Buenos Aires for three months, I was gonna miss the deadline.  I had to choose between getting the movie out when I want to or doing this one, so reluctantly I chose the [former]. But I love those guys, I love Kristen, I was really excited to work with her, I think the movie’s gonna be fabulous, and I’m sure they’ll find a great guy for it.””

Ben Affleck, will be playing Joe Coughlin, the youngest son of a respectable Boston police captain who grows up to become an employee of the city’s most fearsome (and successful) mobsters during Prohibition-era America.

This movie was originally supposed to film in Tampa, Florida but, after tax incentives provided by Georgia’s Film Commission, the movie will film in Atlanta and Boston.

‘Prison Ramen’: Shia LaBeouf Reveals Jail Stories in New Book

Actor, Shia LaBeouf, wrote an essay about every time he was arrested.

The first time Shia LaBeouf was arrested he was only nine years old. Apparently, the aspiring actor stole a pair of sneakers.

He was arrested once again when he was eleven years old after stealing a Game Boy from Kmart.

So, Shia LaBeouf’s experience with the law is not an uncommon or new occurrence.

But, his recent public intoxication in Austin, Texas and viral videos saying he wants to kill his now ex-girlfriend, show that not much has changed in the last few years.

But, the actor wants to everyone to know his side of the story, at least his his experiences with getting arrested.

LaBeouf’s new book Prison Ramen, breaks down his recent criminal record.

“The third time I was 20, in Van Nuys, California. I tried to stab my neighbor and spent two days in jail. While I was there, I at least understood that being in jail is not the move. It sucks ass.” (Via E! online)

LaBeouf points out how jail sucks. Especially in Chicago.

“The fourth time I was in Chicago and I wouldn’t leave Walgreen’s, so I was taken to spend the night in jail. For some reason, I had the best sleep ever,” he writes. “The most recent time was 2014, when I was 28 and in New York City. I went to see the play Cabaret. I didn’t behave very well during the performance and ended up spending 25 hours or so behind bars…” (Via E! online)

Shia LaBeouf points out that his recent time behind bars he had an amazing egg sandwhich, and he adds the prison recipe in his new book.

Even though he points out how bad going to jail can be, he realized his past experiences helped make him the man who he is today.

“When I’m nervous in my creativity, I think of my failures in life and in art,” he admits. “Thinking about my screwups loosens the grip of fear. It’s freeing to f–k up and to recover.”

Despite, Shia LaBeouf’s recent hang ups with the law enforcement. Hollywood still regards LaBeouf as one of the best actors in the game. His latest feature film, Man Down, LaBeouf explained his “suicidal” acting technique.

Mickey Rourke’s Dog Saved Him From Killing Himself

Mickey Rourke reveals his dog kept him from committing suicide.

When Mickey Rourke was having a drought in his acting career the actor nearly committed suicide. But, luckily his dog was there to save his life.

Years before becoming a breakout hit in The Wrestler, during the mid-1990s, the leading man behind Diner and 9 1/2 Weeks was having a hard time. He was nominated for several Razzie Awards and had a struggling boxing career.

Recently, Rourke told reporters at the premiere of the documentary Eating Happiness, “I was going through a really rough time.” He continued, “I was hurting myself and I was sitting in the closet one day. I couldn’t take it anymore and picked up a gun.”

But, what stopped him from pulling the trigger? It was his dog.

“I was deciding what part of my head to put it on and my dog, Beau Jack, he [cried] and I looked over and he looked up at me like this and… he said [with his eyes], ‘Who’s going to look after me?’ And it made me put the gun down. I was ready to go.” (Via)

This is not the first time Rourke expressed his compassion for dogs. In a 2008 interview with The New York Times, he described his home having photos of “dogs everywhere,” including Beau Jack, the dog Rourke rescuved when he collapsed in 2002.

At the Eating Happiness premiere, the actor said, “I get along better with dogs than I do with people.”

Jon Stewart Lands Four Year Deal With HBO for Exclusive Content

Jon Stewart lands a major deal with HBO.

The Daily Show alumni will now create digital content for the premium cable company, HBO and HBO’s HBO Go, and HBO Now, according to reports.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jon Stewart has signed a four-year production deal with HBO and will start creating new short-form digital content for the network

“Jon Stewart led a revolution that changed the face of TV comedy on the Daily Show,” said HBO programming president Michael Lombardo in a release announcing the news Tuesday. “He graced our network nearly 20 years ago, so we’re thrilled to welcome back his immense talents in this next chapter of his career.”

Added Stewart: “Appearing on television 22 minutes a night clearly broke me. I’m pretty sure I can produce a few minutes of content every now and again.”

Jon Stewart has been keeping his career on the down low since he quit The Daily Show after 16 years.

There is no word as to what Jon Stewart plans on releasing. Reports suggest that he is working worth a cloud-graphics company OTOY, Inc to develop short-form digital content.

However, he does have a long history of providing content that reaches a millennial audience.

For example, his comments on the Charleston Shooting and reasoning behind leaving The Daily Show were topics of discussion around every water cooler across America.

Georgia’s Film Industry Faces Major Film Crew Shortage

Georgia’s growing film industry is facing a major up hill battle, as new report suggests that there is a major crew shortage.

According to the Wall Street Journal, there is a huge demand for crew workers because of the lack of qualified, trained and skilled workers and the large number of productions filming simultaneously.

According to the report, producers were asked last year about the number and quality of Georgia’s film and TV workers. About 50% of producers were unable to hire all the workers they needed to work on their productions locally.

“Every time there is volume, there is an issue of crew,” said Gideon Amir, a movie and television producer who works in Atlanta on the show “Devious Maids” and other projects. He noted that the quality of available workers doesn’t always meet producers’ standards.

Which leads to constant work for people that are qualified in the film industry, as the WSJ points out.

But, it is important to point why Hollywood is pushing for more local crew members in Atlanta, Georgia. It is all about the money.

CBS Films, hired more than 200 below-the-line workers for “The Duff” shoot. Regional demand is so high that Georgia’s training initiative will be well-received by Hollywood. “If you build it, they will come,” she said.

Union salary for crew workers is a lot higher than non-union workers. And Georgia, a Right to Work State, features hundreds of non-union workers at the producers’ disposal.

The union salary for a “grip” who works with a camera crew can start at nearly $38 an hour in California. The same position, unionized through the local chapter, pays about $26 an hour in Georgia. Taking into account union and pension contributions, labor costs for that position in Georgia are about 25% lower than in California.

But, this should not come as a surprise for those following Georgia’s film industry. Last July, during a meeting between representatives for the film and television industry told state officials that they regularly struggle to find crews in Georgia and have to hire staff from other states.

Projects have struggled to find construction crews, grip and electric teams and special effects, especially for television teams facing a deadline of only a few weeks, said Craig McNeil, production executive at NBC’s cable arm Universal Cable Productions.

McNeil is midway through shooting the first season of “Satisfaction” in Georgia and said the number of projects shooting simultaneously in the state can make it difficult to fully staff.

It is important to point out that one of the biggest producers in Georgia has even complained of the lack of qualified crew members.

David Grant, vice president of physical production for Marvel Studios, called the state’s incentive program one of, if not the best, in the U.S.

But Marvel has struggled to find the experienced and trained special effects technicians, specialty costumers and stunt team members especially important to an action hero production, Grant said.

When they can’t hire locally, crew members have to be flown in from California, he said.

“We’ve found because Georgia is so busy, some of the advantages of being here via the incentive are wiped away because of the amount of people we have to bring in,” he said.

But, Georgia reportedly has a plan to solve this issue. Georgia State University is building a new media production center in downtown Atlanta. The Savannah College of Art and Design has expanded the number of film-related courses, and the Atlanta Media Campus Studios is planning on building on-site classrooms to teach people the ins and outs of filmmaking.
