Meta Launches Paid Verification on Instagram and Facebook

Meta is thrilled to announce the introduction of its paid verification services on Instagram and Facebook in the US, making it easier than ever before for businesses and influencers alike to get their accounts verified quickly.

Today, Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, made a splash by unveiling the launch of Meta Verified across Instagram and Facebook in America. Last month, the subscription service launched in Australia and New Zealand giving users access to a coveted blue check mark on their Instagram and Facebook accounts for an affordable monthly fee. For only $11.99 per month, you can unlock the power of Meta Verified on your web browser; or for a mere $14.99 monthly fee, enjoy the same benefits on your mobile device!

“Meta Verified is rolling out in the US today,” Zuckerberg said on Friday in the Meta Channel on Instagram. “You can get a badge, proactive impersonation protection, and direct access to customer support.”

Don’t miss out! Sign up for the subscription service today and join our waitlist. To qualify, you must be 18 years of age or older and pay a monthly fee. To solidify your identity, you must finish the authentication process and provide a government-issued photo ID before being granted access to Meta Verified. Two-factor authentication is an absolute must. Those with Meta Verified accounts can only amend their profile name, image, username, or date of birth if they agree to begin the verification process again.

Meta Verified provides unique stickers for Facebook and Instagram Stories and Facebook Reels. Plus, every month, you get 100 Stars to commend other creators on their success!

Meta communicated to TechCrunch via email that the initial test in Australia and New Zealand had delivered “good results,” as well as taking into account feedback from their subscribers. To provide a better understanding, an Australian and New Zealand Meta Verified subscription includes improved visibility and reach in searches, comments, or recommendations. After receiving user feedback that this offering took time to understand, Meta is researching it more before deciding whether to expand beyond Australia and New Zealand.

Using Elon Musk’s expertise, Zuckerberg created the innovative Meta Verified platform. Last autumn, after the Tesla CEO acquired Twitter, they rolled out a new Blue subscription service containing paid verification for only $8 monthly. Unlike Twitter’s approach, users who have already been verified on Instagram and Facebook don’t need to pay for their confirmation. Despite Elon Musk’s pledge to abolish legacy verification badges, he has yet to follow through.

Earning the distinguished blue checkmark on social media has long been considered a prestigious milestone, previously limited to celebrities and other noted public figures such as politicians, actors, athletes, and journalists. Musk has challenged the idea that blue checkmarks should be exclusive and instead argued for them to become more widely accessible.

Since its inception, Meta has provided most of its services at no cost to customers. Nevertheless, it’s becoming more evident that this is altering. Worth noting is that Meta and Twitter aren’t the only two companies to offer subscription services. Last year, Snap unveiled its service last year, successfully transforming 2.5 million users into paid customers!

To get the ball rolling with Meta Verified, simply access your settings on Instagram or Facebook and select “Accounts Center” to ensure you’re all set. If you can use the subscription service, “Meta Verified Available” will be visible underneath your profile picture and name. To move on to the next step, choose your payment method for your subscription plan and confirm it.

New Safdie Brothers Adam Sandler Netflix Movie: Everything We Know So Far

Adam Sandler and the Safdie Brothers are collaborating on a new feature film exclusively for Netflix. Here’s the lowdown on what we know so far about the project.

First announced in October 2022, the Safdie Brothers (comprising of Benny and Josh Safdie) will be writing, producing, and directing a brand new movie bound exclusively for Netflix.

The trio worked together on Uncut Gems for A24, released in 2020 to rave reviews. The project remains on Netflix outside the United States as a Netflix Original title, but in the United States, the movie sadly departed the service last May.

Alongside their work on this new Adam Sandler Netflix project, the Safdie Brothers are also working on a new comedy series via A24 Television scheduled to release on Showtime, The Curse. Both serve as executive producers. Filming for the series took place throughout 2022, but a release date has yet to be set.

What’s the new Safdie Brothers Netflix movie about?

Details on what exactly the new movie is about are still extremely slim.

When the project was first announced, it was only said to be “in the world of sports,” whereas that’s since been refined to “Set in the world of high-end sports card collecting.”

We’ve heard the movie is explicitly about Baseball cards in New York City during the 1990s.

Who will star in the new Safdie Brothers Netflix movie?

We’ve also heard that Benicio del Toro is or, at one point, was eyed for a role in the forthcoming movie. Best known for films like Sicario and The Usual Suspects, the veteran is also set to appear in the Netflix Original movie Reptile, released in 2023.

Daniel Richtman has also reported that Gael García Bernal, the Mexican actor best known for Werewolf by Night, Coco and Old, is also in talks for a role.

Netflix did not respond to a request for comment on the potential casting of Benicio del Toro for the project.

We’ve also found an open casting call which is believed to be attached to the upcoming Safdie movie (it matches the production dates, and the casting company, jv8inc, worked on Uncut Gems).

OPEN CASTING CALL: A NEW UNTITLED NETFLIX FEATURE FILM

SEEKING MALE YOUTH AGES 9-12

We are searching for two supporting roles in an upcoming NETFLIX feature film slated to shoot June – August in and around New York City. This is a paid opportunity.

MOOKIE – Mookie is an 11-year-old white boy.  He is very overweight and on a strict diet. He’s bullied regularly.  Privately his sense of humor can make you laugh, but his vulnerability will make you cry.

NOT ATHLETIC BUT LOVES SPORTS.  BEING A FAN OF BASEBALL IS A PLUS BUT NOT A REQUIREMENT.  CAN BE BASED ANYWHERE IN THE U.S.

MULLIN – Mullin is an 11-year-old white boy.  He’s intense, intimidating, and gets what he wants. Most popular kid in his school. Very athletic and, specifically, very good at baseball.

MUST BE ABLE TO PLAY BASEBALL WELL.  MUST BE BASED IN THE NY TRI-STATE AREA.

No prior acting experience is necessary.  If you think your child fits one of the descriptions above, please submit it for consideration!

Interested? Apply Now

When will the movie begin production?

In a VanityFair interview, Sandler originally stated that the movie was due to “supposed to start in the late winter.”

When asked about whether he expects the filming schedule and time on set to be intense, Sandler said:

“Yeah, because of how much these guys care. And how much I don’t want to let them down. And I see how hard they work, and just like when I’m working on my comedies with my friends, it means a lot to us. Every joke means a lot. The Safdie boys, every word means a lot to them, and every movie frame means a lot. So I don’t want to walk through anything. I care about it, and I respect those guys so much.”

According to reports, filming was due to be underway on the project from April 3rd, 2023, but it’s unclear whether that’ll be the case.

Newer listings point to June 2023 filming starting August 2023 in New York City.

That’s all we have for now. Let us know in the comments if you’re looking forward to watching the Adam Sandler Safdie Brothers reunion in the comments below.

How to Cure Sore Throat Before an Audition

For many performers, such as actors, models, influencers, and filmmakers, there is often a lot of pressure to be fit and ready for your next gig. This can lead to severe stress if you have a sore throat or cold just before an event or shoot. In this blog post, we cover the steps you need to take to attempt still to make it through your set but also protect yourself, so you don’t risk any potential illnesses. It starts with understanding the various ailments associated with colds/sore throats and taking preventative measures when possible, then knowing how best to manage other elements such as eating right, conserving energy, and getting enough rest before going out on stage or shooting in case something does happen. We will also discuss practical warm-up strategies, which can help ease some of the discomfort associated with these conditions while on-stage.

Understand your symptoms and take action to alleviate them.

Having a sore throat or cold when you’ve got a gig coming up can be highly stressful. It is essential to take the time to understand your particular symptoms and how they may impact the performance of your duties. To alleviate them, it may help to consult with a healthcare professional who can offer advice to help you manage your condition and reduce the risk of any further disruption. Taking simple precautions such as having lots of fluids, using honey, steam inhalation, and warm drinks can also go a long way in helping you cope with the illness so that it does not interfere with your plans.

Use warm saline gargles or steam inhalation to reduce soreness and throat pain.

If you’ve got a sore throat or a cold and have a gig coming up, it can seem overwhelming to figure out how to take care of yourself quickly. Luckily, the two best options for reducing soreness and throat pain are warm saline gargles and steam inhalation. By gargling with warm salty water (near body temperature), you can flush out mucous and bacteria, which can also help clear your sinuses. Steam inhalation is also a great way to reduce pain in your throat and open up your nasal passages. You can boil water, put it in a bowl, add an herbal infusion or essential oil that contains menthol, such as eucalyptus, peppermint, or tea-tree oils, and then cover your head with a towel over the container so that you can inhale the vapors directly from the bowl. Both of these techniques will work wonders if used frequently over a short period before your gig.

Take cold medicine to reduce congestion and fever.

If you are unfortunate enough to have contracted a cold or a sore throat on the eve of an upcoming gig, you must take the necessary steps to help speed up your recovery. One way to do this is by taking over-the-counter cold medicine, which helps reduce congestion and fever in the short term. Before beginning any medication, however, be sure to check with your doctor that the recommended dose will not negatively affect your performance at the gig or interact with any other medications you might be taking. Taking cold medicine can provide much-needed relief and help you perform your best!

Drink plenty of liquids and avoid caffeinated beverages.

It can be difficult when you have a sore throat or cold and a gig coming up. However, ensuring that you give your body the best chance of recovering is essential. One helpful tip is to drink plenty of liquids. Water and other clear liquids like juice can help soothe your throat and may provide temporary relief from the irritation – make sure to avoid those caffeinated beverages as they can increase dehydration which can worsen your symptoms. Additionally, electrolyte solutions such as Gatorade or Pedialyte can help replenish any fluids that may have been lost due to fever or illness-related sweating, helping boost your energy and keep you hydrated throughout the day.

Stick to a nutritious diet that includes foods like garlic, ginger, and citrus fruits for their anti-inflammatory properties.

Keeping yourself healthy is paramount when you’ve got an upcoming gig, which means eating a nutritious diet to minimize cold or sore throat symptoms. Those fighting off a chilly should focus on foods with anti-inflammatory properties, such as garlic, ginger, and citrus fruits -these can help boost the immune system when you need them most. While the long-term effects may be limited, having a few days of those nutrient-rich foods can support your body while providing additional energy to make it through the set.

Get adequate rest – practice meditation or yoga for relaxation.

Preventing a cold or sore throat in the first place is best, but if you find yourself in this position close to a performance, getting ample rest is vital. In addition to rest, it can also be helpful to practice relaxation techniques like meditation and yoga, which have been proven to help reduce stress. Lower stress levels can help protect against disease progression and benefit mental well-being during illness. Additionally, any time spent practicing such activities brings tangible benefits during a performance, as each provides an opportunity for increased self-awareness and focus on the present moment. Taking care of yourself when you’re trying to perform is essential, and good rest is necessary – so don’t skip out on the relaxation practices!

Conclusion:

Sickness can be a bummer, significantly when it interferes with your plans. But the show must go on! The good news is you can take some simple steps to help prevent or reduce the severity of symptoms related to your sore throat or cold if you come down with one before an important performance. From understanding your symptoms, using warm saline gargles or steam inhalation to reduce soreness and throat pain, taking over-the-counter cold medicine, drinking plenty of liquids, having a nutritious diet that incorporates anti-inflammatory ingredients, and making sure you get adequate rest – these steps all combine as a holistic approach in helping you cope with a cold or sore throat before any upcoming gigs. I hope this helps make all your vocal performances delightful and successful!

Whether you are an actor, model, influencer, filmmaker, or simply looking for ways to network in the industry and build momentum for potential projects down the line, there are tried and tested methods available that will help you reach out and market effectively. In this blog post, we aim to provide valuable tips on how best to promote your Casting Call so that you can maximize visibility and make connections with decision-makers within the film/entertainment industry.

Reach out to your network. Leverage personal connections to spread the word about your Casting Call.

Building a network of people in your field will help to spread the word about your Casting Call and allow more people to attend. Looking through the contacts on your phone, email, or social media and reaching out to these connections is the first step in this process. Mentioning what you’re working on, such as upcoming Casting Call and projects, can help build engagement, leading to broader promotion. Posting information about performances on your social media is also an effective way for your network to engage – adding visuals such as video snippets or promotional graphics along with a brief blurb can catch people’s attention and encourage them to come to check out a show. Reaching out to everyone from family members and coworkers to bloggers, press outlets, or other performers in your network will ensure higher success in promoting Casting Call.

Utilize social media platforms. Use organic and paid content strategies to reach a wider audience and increase visibility for your Casting Call.

Social media presents an incredible opportunity for artists to promote their Casting Call and build a fan base. Using platforms like Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, you can reach an even larger audience to get the word out about your upcoming events. Creating organic posts regularly that share exciting content is one way to engage with potential fans and maintain an active presence online. Additionally, leveraging paid content strategies can become even more beneficial by targeting specific audiences and testing different types of content to see what resonates best with your fans. Doing that will help you gain visibility while exploring new ways to connect with people who may be interested in attending your Casting Call.

Create attractive visuals like posters, flyers, or videos to promote your Casting Call and engage with fans.

Promoting your Casting Call is an essential step to gaining recognition as an artist. Creative visuals like posters, flyers, and videos can be incredibly effective tools in helping to spread the word. These materials inform interested parties about your upcoming show or performance and can help build anticipation. Not only do visuals provide valuable information, but they also look attractive and help engage with your fans, thus increasing the likelihood of a successful show. Therefore it is beneficial to design eye-catching materials that highlight your Casting Call’s important aspects and excite attendees to come.

You can use email marketing to target potential attendees and keep them up-to-date on upcoming shows and events.

Email marketing is an effective tool for promoting Casting Call and staying connected to potential attendees. It lets you send targeted messages and inform your audience of upcoming shows and events. Leveraging email automation can help you reach out to attendees quickly – without sacrificing the personalized connection with each recipient. In addition, carefully segmenting your email list based on interests, location, age, and other factors will help ensure your messages are relevant and engaging. Utilizing this strategy can be a great way to get people interested in your Casting Call and ensure they don’t forget about it when it comes.

Leverage influencers in the industry who can help spread the word about your Casting Call and share their experiences with their followers.

When promoting your Casting Call and gaining visibility with your target audience, leveraging influencers in the industry can be a great strategy. By partnering with these influencers, you can tap into their existing fanbase, which can help spread the word about your Casting Call and elevate the visibility of your music. These influencers offer an invaluable opportunity to reach a wider audience, as they are connected to many people who may be interested in what you are creating. Also, their followers will consider their experience working with you, so it is essential to ensure they have positive experiences that they would be willing to share with others. Taking advantage of these opportunities and building relationships with influencers is an effective way to promote your Casting Call and maximize your reach.

Please use local press outlets like newspapers or radio stations willing to write stories or feature you on their shows/programs.

Using local press outlets such as newspapers, magazines, and radio shows is a great way to promote your Casting Call. These channels often provide more personal coverage with the chance to create more meaningful connections. Before you put anything out there, it is crucial essential your messaging be careful and target specific press outlets to maximize the impact of these stories or features. For example, artists can use music-focused online press specializing in their genre and local newspapers and radio stations to create interest in their work. Reach out and give these outlets details on your upcoming Casting Call and why their audience should support or be interested in it. Finally, please ensure you build relationships with key personnel at media publications so you can stay on their radar for future Casting Call.

Identify new venues or alternative spaces where you can host your Casting Call to reach out to additional audiences.

Are you a creative looking to expand your Casting Call repertoire? Taking your talents to new venues or alternative spaces is a great way to reach different audiences. Networking and creativity go hand-in-hand; scouting out other places may open opportunities for promotion and collaboration with other artists. Many towns have small public spaces with utilities suitable for hosting; finding these unknown gems can be as simple as asking around or quickly searching online. Additionally, venues such as libraries or schools may host events where you can participate, further increasing your reach and networking potential. Hosting nights at local pubs or cafes could also be a beneficial way to promote yourself, as these places thrive on new customers who enjoy unique experiences they can’t find elsewhere. While it takes time and effort to research different venues, tracing all avenues of the creative industry can come with unexpected rewards for making yourself known!

Think outside of the box – look for other ways you can creatively advertise your Casting Call or stand out from competitors

Suppose you want to make a name for yourself and promote your Casting Call uniquely; consider thinking outside the box. Get creative! Some possible ways to advertise include leveraging social media platforms such as Instagram or Twitter to spread the word, creating brochures or flyers that list all of your upcoming Casting Call, teaming up with other performers or independent Casting Call venues, or attending industry conferences and networking groups. Using clever methods can help set you apart from competitors and let potential customers know who you are. Exploring new challenges is always a good idea – this could even add a layer of fun to promoting your Casting Call!

Acknowledge your feelings – Recognize and acknowledge the pressure you are feeling.

Pressure can be a daunting feeling, and it’s essential to face it head-on. Acknowledge the feelings of anxiety and stress you experience, as this is your first step in managing them. Recognize that it’s normal – everyone feels overwhelmed sometimes. It’s essential to take time for yourself to remain calm during challenging times, even if it’s just a few minutes of meditation. Creating an organized schedule can also reduce some of the stress of juggling multiple tasks. Taking one job at a time will help you stay focused and progress more efficiently with less pressure. Recognizing and acknowledging the pressure will make your actions more transparent and manageable between schoolwork and acting work.

Create a plan – Break down tasks into small chunks and create a timeline for completion.

When juggling schoolwork and acting commitments, creating a plan of action is critical to managing both pressures. Breaking the task into small chunks and creating short-term goals will keep work on track, allowing for more success over the long run. Additionally, it helps to prioritize tasks based on the due date and create a timeline for completion so that everything runs smoothly. Knowing how long tasks can take and ensuring plans are manageable given all competing commitments is essential. Doing so will equip you with better strategies for promptly meeting expectations and completing projects.

Ask for help – Seek support from teachers, family, and friends when necessary.

As an aspiring actor or student, it’s natural to feel pressure when juggling school work and acting work. There is no shame in admitting that you may need help occasionally when ensuring that everything is completed. Be bold and ask for assistance from reliable sources like friends, teachers, or family. They will provide valuable tips and assign tasks appropriate to your current situation. Furthermore, it’s important to remember that asking for help isn’t a sign of weakness; it’s a sign of strength since it takes courage and determination to succeed. An experienced teacher or parent can offer sound advice while providing much-needed support. With their guidance and direction, you will have the confidence and assurance to tackle both acting and schoolwork simultaneously with relative ease.

Take breaks – Allow yourself time to relax to reduce stress levels.

Taking time to give yourself a break can help you balance the pressures of doing schoolwork and acting work. Breaks help you stay focused and productive and reduce your stress levels. Taking a few minutes away from studying or practicing a script can be beneficial to recharge and restore motivation. Permit yourself to step away for a few moments to continue performing at your best. Scheduling regular breaks throughout the day, even if only 5-10 minutes, will create space for reflections and allow you to return to tasks with increased enthusiasm. Make sure that your break activities aren’t too stimulating – find something calming like reading or listening to music – to get maximum de-stressing benefits and come back refreshed!

Stay organized – Prioritize tasks and make lists to ensure everything gets done in time.

It can be daunting to juggle academic and acting work; however, staying organized is one effective way to reduce stress and ensure that all assignments are completed on time. A great way to start is by listing any upcoming academic or acting tasks that need attention and prioritizing them based on urgency and importance. Taking the time to break down your tasks into manageable chunks will make it easier to complete each one promptly while also lessening the feeling of pressure or overwhelm. Additionally, be sure to micro-manage your calendar – schedule a block of time for each task so that you can save time in the end due to procrastination. Staying organized will help you stay focused on completing tasks and contribute significantly towards success in schoolwork and acting work.

Make Time for Yourself – Don’t forget to care for your mental health by carving out “me” time throughout the day.

With the pressure of balancing schooling and acting, it’s easy to let stress take over. However, it is vital to remember that taking care of your mental health should always be a priority to maintain a healthy lifestyle. One way to do this is by making space for yourself to unwind and recharge throughout the day. This can take ten minutes away from work during lunch to reflect on your day and clear your mind or remove yourself from screens before settling down for the night. This could also include enjoying a light physical activity or listening to calming music while practicing deep breathing exercises. It is essential to establish a routine that allows you to focus on yourself daily so that you stay in touch with your emotions and needs and are better equipped to handle stress when it arises.

Conclusion:

Balancing schoolwork and acting work can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. While it’s good to acknowledge your feelings and take some time for yourself, learning how to stay organized and create a plan will help you succeed. Make sure you take breaks between tasks, prioritize the important things and ask for help when necessary. We all face a certain amount of pressure, but we can learn how to manage it effectively with the right strategies. These tips will help you stay on top of your goals without compromising your mental health.

How to Write an Application Letter?

Would you like to make a lasting impression with your application letters? Writing an effective application letter is critical to ensuring you stand out In the competitive world of actors, influencers, models, and filmmakers. The importance of a well-crafted application letter must be recognized; recruiters often assess these as part of their overall perception of your candidacy for the position or opportunity being offered. With this blog post, we’ll explore tips on how to write an eye-catching and memorable job application letter so that you can land every role – or at least get noticed!

Join Project Casting to access jobs you can apply to right now.

Research the company’s values, mission, vision, and culture.

When writing an application letter, thoroughly researching the company and understanding its values, mission, vision, and culture can make a huge difference. It’s essential to take the time to study the company not only as a whole but also at a more granular level so you can tailor your cover letter specifically to that employer. Knowing how the company operates and its core diversity and customer service positions will help you craft an application letter tailored to their work standards and expectations. Furthermore, this research shows dedication where prospective employers know what kind of work ethic a candidate may have even before setting foot in the door for an interview. These extra research steps can significantly tip the scale in your favor!

Craft a compelling subject line that grabs attention and conveys your enthusiasm for the position.

Taking the time to craft the perfect subject line is just as important as nailing the content of your application letter. Not only should you hit the sweet spot between descriptive and direct, but you should strike the right balance between professionalism and enthusiasm. A great subject line helps guarantee that your application stands out from the crowd and makes it more likely that a hiring manager or potential employer will take a closer look at your application. Before you submit it, please consider how your subject will hook readers in and draws attention to what makes you an attractive Candidate for this opportunity – be sure to pick words that make you stand out!

Structure your letter in a way that is clear and easy to read, starting with an introduction of yourself and why you are interested in the role.

When it comes to writing application letters, having clarity and structure are essential. An effective letter should start with a brief introduction, offering your name and a few words about why you are interested in the particular role. Defining your motivation for applying and showing how you can contribute positively to the organization you hope to join is essential. Once this has been established, dive into your qualifications and experience that make you ideally suited for the job. Lastly, provide proof of your abilities through a portfolio, examples of previous work, or references from former colleagues or employers. By putting these pieces together thoughtfully and nicely packaging them in an easy-to-read format, potential employers can see why you’re suitable for their team.

Show your qualifications using powerful words and concrete examples highlighting your strengths.

Writing an effective application letter is vital when applying for a job. To ensure your letter is noticed, you should begin by using strong words that properly emphasize your qualifications and experience. Be sure to back up any assertions you make with concrete examples that demonstrate why you are the ideal candidate for the role. Showcase your strengths, such as communication skills or problem-solving abilities, using real-life examples of how you’ve applied them in past roles or situations. If done correctly, this will leave potential employers with the impression that you have an appropriate background and the relevant skill set that makes you a suitable candidate and warrants closer inspection.

Provide a call-to-action at the end of your letter to encourage further contact from the employer.

When crafting the perfect application letter, including a call-to-action at the end is essential to get noticed by your desired employer. A call-to-action should be distinct from simply restating that you are looking forward to hearing back from the employer – this does nothing to convey your enthusiasm for the role or initiative. Instead, a clear call to action can leave an employer with assurance in your resilience and dedication. For example, asking for a follow-up phone call or setting up an in-person meeting can show how you’ll have to make time for such exchanges. Employers appreciate when candidates are eager to reach out and start conversations, which may further lead to interviews being offered and even successful job placements. If you’re feeling confident about your letter, consider including a powerful call-to-action at the close to gain positive attention.

Proofread your application letter to ensure everything is correct before sending it out.

Before you send out your application letter, setting aside time for proofreading is extremely important. This will help ensure that your written piece contains no spelling or grammar mistakes and will positively impact potential employers. Even the most experienced writers can miss an error, so utilize resources such as spell checkers, grammar tools, and even family or friends to provide extra eyes before submitting your application. A polished and well-written letter will help show employers that you are paying attention to detail and have crafted a professional letter worthy of their review. Make sure you take the time to double-check for accuracy before submitting!

Conclusion:

It takes work to write an effective application letter. Still, by following the above steps and applying them to your letter, you can make sure that your message is received in the manner it was intended – to be remembered and noticed. Researching the company, crafting a compelling subject line, structuring your letter, showing your qualifications using powerful words and concrete examples, and providing a call-to-action to encourage further contact from the employer will all help increase your chances of success. In addition, proofreading your letter thoroughly before submitting it can help ensure you get all the errors and typos. With enough effort and framing of your writing appropriately for the job you’re applying for, you may even find yourself favored for the position!

‘The Last of Us’ Surpasses ‘House of the Dragon’ as HBO’s Top Series

The critically acclaimed ‘The Last of Us’ is now HBO’s highest-rated series, surpassing the widely popular ‘House of the Dragon.’

The Last of Us has broken records and taken the TV industry by storm, surpassing even George R.R. Martin’s highly-acclaimed Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon in viewership ratings!

HBO’s finale of The Last of Us was a hit, with The Hollywood Reporter revealing that the show garnered an impressive 8.2 million viewers across all HBO platforms this past weekend. Compared to the 8.1 million views of the week prior, it experienced modest growth and achieved a record-breaking peak viewership for its nine-episode season premiere.

Since its premiere on January 15, The Last of Us has been a smash hit with viewers. Boasting an average of 30.4 million viewers per episode across the entire six-episode series, this show will keep people coming back for more! An astonishing 40 million viewers watched the premiere episode of the show.

Suppose the last three episodes of this season continue along its current trajectory. In that case, The Last of Us will become more significant than even HBO’s highly-anticipated series, House of the Dragon. This past weekend, the show’s finale garnered 74.5% more viewers than its series debut—an impressive 4.7 million people!

Comparatively, The Last of Us has the most viewers for an HBO show since Game of Thrones’ final season, which averaged 44 million viewers with an impressive viewership count of 30.4 million!
