The upcoming Tupac biopic All Eyez On Me is now casting new talent in Atlanta, Georgia.

Marinella Hume Casting, the new casting director for the Tupac biopic All Eyez on Me is looking for new talent to work on the upcoming feature film.

Casting directors are casting a ton of featured roles. Producers are looking for hip hop types, featured extras, and photo doubles to work on the upcoming scenes. Filming for these scenes start on Friday, January 22nd and continue until Sunday, January 24th.

About All Eyez on Me:

Suge-Knight-Snoop-Dogg-TupacAll Eyez on Me is directed by Benny Boom and centers around the life and times of legendary rapper Tupac Shakur. Filming will take place in Atlanta, Georgia starting December.

Watch the amazing High School Musical audition tapes released by Disney.

The Disney Channel’s hit TV series High School Musical celebrated its 10th anniversary on Wednesday with an amazing reunion special, which included a look back at some of the cast’s adorable audition tapes.

During the flashback to the East High gym, High School Musical stars Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Lucas Grabeel and Monique Coleman took a trip down memory lane while watching their cheesy auditions together.

While Tisdale’s audition with Grabeel and Bleu’s audition with coleman were cute, it would be Zac Efron’s audition that stole the show.

Even back then, there was a clear on screen chemistry between the cast of High School Musical. Especially between Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, who both dated for several years.

Unfortunately, Zac Efron didn’t make it to the reunion, and his absence was felt, especially since none of the cast mentioned his name while watching the auditions and they didn’t even show Efron delivering any lines in the flash back.

The 28-year-old actor is currently promoting his new movie Dirty Grandpa, while getting in shape for the new Baywatch movie, which is now holding open casting calls across the south east.

The Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising trailer is finally here and it’s pretty hilarious.

After filming in Atlanta, Georgia for several months, the Seth Rogen and Zac Efron comedy is back.

The first ‘Neighbors’ revolved around a couple with a new baby who are forced to live next to a fraternity house and do whatever they can to take it down. In ‘Neighbors 2′, a sorority moves in next door to the couple and Seth Rogen gets help from the fraternity to help battle the wild sorority sisters.

Neighbors 2 looks like it is going to bring back the same kind of style and flair to the series.

Here’s The Real Reason Why All Movie Trailers Are the Same

Here’s the secret formula to all movie trailers.

Despite fewer people watching movie trailers now more than ever, movie trailers are and will always be an important part of the marketing part of any movie. When skillfully done, they can make even horrible movies look like Oscar winning pictures.

Unfortunately, due to this formula, all movie trailers are basically the same. Jack Nugent, host of the informative “Now You See It” web series, gets to the root of this situation in a video bluntly called “The Problem With Trailers.”

This handy guide explains each trailer and has four main goals it is trying to accomplish in a relatively short amount of time. The trouble starts when too many trailers use this formula for creating movies.

“These techniques have become so normal that they aren’t enough to make a trailer stand out anymore,” Nugent explains. “The vague dialogue, the over-the-top music—it’s very familiar to us.

Here, Nugent explains the different type of formula used for American Sniper and Furious 7 trailers and why these are the new type of trailers Hollywood should be using.

Eva Longoria: Daytime Soap Opera Actors are “Divas”

Eva Longoria reveals what it’s like working on daytime soap operas and it’s pretty dramatic.

Eva Longoria appeared on an episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers on Tuesday to promote her new comedy series Telenovela, and she discussed her experiences working on soap-operas.

Apparently, there is more drama behind the scenes of your favorite soap operas than there are in front of the camera. Longoria, who started her acting career in shows like General Hospital and The Young and the Restless, told Seth Meyers what it’s like working on a daytime soap opera in comparison to a nighttime series.

“The difference between daytime soaps and nighttime soaps is that in the daytime soaps, the men are the divas.” She recalled a time when her male scene partner kept saying the wrong line, which she was then repeatedly blamed for; “The men could do no wrong,” she concluded.

It looks like every actor has to start somewhere.

Longoria’s new TV series Telenovela is a sitcom series starring Eva Longoria and Jencarlos Canela. The series centersa round the daily life of a telenovela star that doesn’t know how to speek Spanish, even though being extremely popular with the co-stars and crew around her.

[WATCH] The Unedited El Chapo Raid Looks Like a Michael Bay Action Movie

You can finally watch the unedited El Chapo raid and it’s pretty crazy.

On Monday, we saw a clip of the dramatic raid footage that ended in Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman’s recapture by Mexican authorities. Those 30 seconds (cut from 50 minutes of footage from CNN) showed Marines throwing grenades into the home holding El Chapo. Five cartel members were killed while El Chapo temporarily escaped into a manhole. He traveled through the sewer, emerged and stole a car, but authorities were able to capture him before he disappeared again.

Now, an extended video shows a full 15 minutes of GoPro action from Friday morning’s “Cisne Negro” (Black Swan) mission.

The clip ends as the soldiers realize that El Chapo is nowhere inside the two-story structure. We may see a lot more when the full 50 minutes of footage surfaces. However, whether or not we’ll actually see El Chapo’s arrest and his reaction will probably be shrouded in mystery.

The drug kingpin now sits in the same Mexican prison that he escaped from last July. The warden and 71 other employees were charged after El Chapo escaped through a hidden tunnel. Of course, El Chapo’s plan may not have been a secret at all. His network of connections may make anything possible, even another possible escape. But, it’s interesting to point out that his Hollywood appeal is what led to him getting caught. All of which begs the question: Is Sean Penn a spy?

‘Star Wars’ is Now Casting Lead Roles for the Han Solo Spinoff

Star Wars is ramping up production for the new Han Solo spinoff movie and according to reports, casting directors are currently holding auditions for the lead role in the Disney movie.

According to Variety, talent agencies are currently pitching their best and biggest actors to star in the next Han Solo spinoff movie. But, due to Non-disclosure Agreements and top flight security, details surrounding the casting calls and auditions have not been made public. However, Variety has been able to get a short list of actors that are currently auditioning this week for the lead role in the Han Solo solo movie.

Variety’s sources tell them that that after seeing hundreds of actors, LuscasFilm execs have cut the list down to about a few actors with “Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Dave Franco, Jack Reynor, Scott Eastwood, Logan Lerman, “Brooklyn” star Emory Cohen and “Everybody Wants Some” actor Blake Jenner” among the top list of actors making the cut, so far. Apparently, casting directors were looking for actors as young as 17 to 34 years old.

Star Wars movie producer Kathleen Kennedy and directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller are holding auditions and a decision is expected to be made in the next few weeks.

Filming for the new Han Solo movie will not start filming until early 2017, but sources close to Variety say the reason for such a early decision has to do with the upcoming Star Wars movie, which is currently filming. That might explain the most recent casting call which was leaked showing that Harrison Ford was returning to the franchise. And Variety’s sources say that “the new Solo could have a small cameo in “Rogue One: A Star Wars” before appearing in his own standalone pic.”

Rogue One still has a month of filming to go and is supposed to be set between Episode II and Episode IV, making this new Han Solo age accurate for a cameo in the movie. Golden Globes: Tom Hanks Impression of Denzel is AMAZING

Tom Hanks introduced Denzel Washington as the recipient of the 2016 Cecil B. DeMille award with amazing style, grace and acting abilities.

It helps that he’s one of the few actors in Hollywood that could work side by side with Washington himself. It’s not an easy job to bestow a major award to a legendary actor, icon, and activist like Denzel Washington. In fact, King Kong ain’t got **** on him.

But what no one could probably see coming was Tom Hanks impression of Denzel Washington’s acting. That’s right, when Tom Hanks performed his best Denzel impression, it was so good it made Denzel break into laughter.

Denzel Washington, who was probably still laughing after Donald Trump, struggled to give a great speech but, you could easily tell that Denzel was simply enjoying the glorious moment with his family.

Was Jennifer Lawrence a jerk to this Golden Globes reporter reading a question from his phone?

Right after winning her Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical, Jennifer Lawrence was being interviewed at a post awards show when an incident occurred between the Hunger Games actress and a reporter trying to ask her a question.

Jennifer Lawrence quickly became upset with the reporter attempting to read her a question off of his phone, which apparently is not unheard of for international reporters for whom English is not their first language.

Without ever listening to the question, Jennifer Lawrence snaps. “You can’t live your whole life behind your phone, bro. You just can’t do that. You gotta live in the now,” a faint laughter spreads through the room. The reporter quickly apologized and then went on to ask the question, asking Lawrence how she sees herself for the Oscars, referring to February’s awards which Jennifer Lawrence is likely to be nominated for. However Lawrence, seemingly still upset, fired back: “We’re at the Golden Globes. If you put your phone down, you’d know that.”

Many people took to Twitter to blast Jennifer Lawrence’s rude comments.

‘Free State of Jones’ Movie Trailer is Finally Here and Matthew McConaughey is Amazing

The civil war drama, Free State of Jones, centers around the story of Newt Knight, a farmer and former Confederate soldier who ultimately deserts from the Civil War and leads a revolt against the Confederacy.

On Saturday night, the first trailer for the Civil War drama Free State of Jones was released Saturday, featuring some pretty action packed scenes. Academy Award winner Matthew McConaughey stars in the film written and directed by Oscar nominated director Gary Ross.

McConaughey plays Newt Knight, a farmer and one-time Confederate soldier who ultimately leaves and starts a rebellion consisting of farmers and slaves against the Confederate Army in Jones County, Mississippi.

Filming took place throughout New Orleans, Louisiana with casting directors looking for background actors, models, and stand-ins.

Watch the 1989 Clearasil commercial that helped launched Mark Ruffalo’s acting career.

Before Mark Ruffalo was the Hulk, Ruffalo was an aspiring actor who auditioned over 600 times before ever landed a major role. In fact, Ruffalo was just another young actor working on small acting gigs.

During the Tonight Show last week, Jimmy Fallon aired a classic 1989 Clearasil commercial featuring a 22-year-old Ruffalo discussing the problems with acne and using medicated face wipes.

“After I was hired,” Ruffalo recalled, “The director was like, ‘I really liked what you did because you just seem like you came right off the street—like, you don’t know how to act at all.’” I guess that’s no longer a problem for Ruffalo. In fact, Mark Ruffalo called out Jason Statham after Statham bashed the Marvel series for bad acting. Ruffalo responded by saying, “You’ve got nothing on me.” And by the looks of this commercial, Ruffalo is probably right.

Ruffalo’s acting career is on fire nearly 30 years later. Following his major breakout performance in You Can Count on Me sixteen years ago, he went on to star in critically acclaimed films such as Collateral in 2004, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, the underrated movie Zodiac in 2007and Shutter Island alongside Leonardo DiCaprio. For his roles in The Kids Are All Right (2010) and Foxcatcher (2014), he received Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations for Best Supporting Actor.

Mark Ruffalo is now working on the sequel to Now You See Me.

Quentin Tarantino’s “Punishment” for Sleeping on Set is ‘Terrifying’ [VIDEO]

Quentin Tarantino is one of Hollywood’s most celebrated filmmakers. But, in a recent interview with Conan, Tarantino is also the guy you don’t want to mess with on set.

Tarantino revealed on Conan Tuesday night his method of “punishment” for actors or crew members who fall asleep on his set. It involves a purple dildo named “Big Jerry” and lots of pictures. Firt of all, did Tarantino buy this dildo himself? Who has to use the dildo? Also, there are a few grosser names for a dildo than Big Jerry, which implies there is a “Little Jerry” hiding out there somewhere on set of The Hateful Eight.

[WATCH] ‘Star Wars’ Director J.J. Abrams First Acting Role

Before directing the biggest movie in history, J.J. Abrams was an aspiring actor.

In a newly revealed indie film, J.J. Abrams was an aspiring actor who played a whiny little brat in a movie once. That’s right, before creating the beloved TV series Felicity and Lost, and directing Star Trek and Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Abrams tried his hand at acting.

His second movie, and the first in which he had a major role was, Six Degrees of Separation, an adaptation of the John Guare play that starred Will Smith. In addition to being one of the biggest movies to launch Will Smith’s acting career, it contains a scene in which J.J. Abrams character screams, “YOU’RE AN IDIOT! YOU’RE AN IDIOT!” at his father over the phone for allowing a con man into their family’s Manhattan apartment.

Before breaking box office records, J.J. Abrams was an aspiring teen actor just like everyone else.

Have you ever noticed that actors act differently in the classic American movies? Well actors used to have very different, American accents in the earlier part of the 20th century movies.

If you have ever seen an American movie from the 1940s and earlier, you might have wondered why the actors sound so different from actors today.

This video from HowStuffWorks explains the accent, referred to as the Mid-Atlantic or Transatlantic accent:

It is not just actors, but also anyone form the higher class society at the time:

This type of pronunciation is called the Transatlantic, or Mid-Atlantic, accent. And it isn’t like most other accents – instead of naturally evolving, the Transatlantic accent was acquired. This means that people in the United States were taught to speak in this voice. Historically Transatlantic speech was the hallmark of aristocratic America and theatre. In upper-class boarding schools across New England, students learned the Transatlantic accent as an international norm for communication, similar to the way posh British society used Received Pronunciation – essentially, the way the Queen and aristocrats are taught to speak.

Here’s an example from the classic movie Casablanca:

If you’re from Northeast, you have probably heard the accent from older men and women who grew up around this time. As for actors in this era, since this was the accent of upper-class elites, it was the one also taught to actors. Though it stopped being used over time, you can hear it all the time in older movies. This is because method acting and other natural styles of acting changed the way people talked in movies and TV shows.

Do you think it is possible to survive The Walking Dead?

 That’s what the latest trailer for the mid season return of AMC’s The Walking Dead asks whether or not people can survive inside the walls of Alexandria.

The 30-second clip shows the second half of the apocalyptic drama’s sixth season shows Lauren Cohan’s Maggie shaken up and Andrew Lincoln’s blood-drenched Rick Grimes. But, the scenes sho no sign of Negan, the new character played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan who is expected to turn The Walking Dead upside down.

“Negan is the leader of the Saviors. He’s the new biggest threat, possibly the biggest ever threat that’s ever been introduced in the ‘Walking Dead,’” exec producer Robert Kirkman told Variety in November after the midseason finale. “We’ve announced that Jeffrey Dean Morgan is playing him, and he’s an absolutely amazing actor. He checks every box needed for Negan, which is he’s very personable. You like this guy. He’s very funny. But he’s also extremely intimidating. Very powerful. Just a very wide range of personality traits that Negan encompasses. It was very difficult to find somebody who did check all those boxes. But I’m very happy to say Mr. Morgan does. Negan himself is a catalyst who fundamentally changes what we’re doing with ‘The Walking Dead’ and how these characters exist and really messes a lot of things up for Rick in a lot of terrifying ways. There’s a lot of cool stuff in store for the ‘Walking Dead’ fans when he debuts.”

Convicted Armed Robber Granted Early Release After Singing on ‘The Voice’ (Video)

A convicted armed robber was allowed to walk out of prison early after impressing judges on Georgian ‘The Voice’.

According to reports, Eona Kolbaia sung a prayer set to music on the Georgian local version of The Voice. Kolbaia was granted her freedom after making it to the quarter finals. During the finals, Kolbaia sang the song Kyrie Eleison, a version of a Catholic prayer for mercy.

But, why would such a talented singer end up in jail for armed robbery? Apparently she tried to rob a cab driver.

Kolbaia, who had been convicted of a 2012 heist when she and a male accomplice robbed a taxi driver in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi, threatening him with a fake pistol before making off with cash, mobile phones and his car, had been allowed out of prison to attend auditions and recordings of the television show after prison officials recognized her talent.

At the end of the shower, the former Soviet state’s prisons minister Kakha Kakhishvilil walked on to the stage to tell her that even though she lost she impressed the parole board so much that that the government has decided to cut her sentence short. “We’ve been keeping a close eye on her,” the minister told the audience. Kolbaia responded by saying she was going “to use this opportunity to start my life anew.”

‘The Hateful Eight’: Cast and Crew Reveals Samuel L. Jackson’s Acting Process

Here’s what it’s like to work with Samuel L. Jackson in ‘The Hateful Eight’.

The Hateful Eight doesn’t make it’s wide release until a few more days, but Quentin Tarantino’s latest movie has had more drama than an episode of the Jersey Shore. The movie’s script and movie was leaked online and the movie was boycotted by the police. But, outside of all of this drama, Quentin Tarantino’s new movie is being called “devilishly good.” One of the actor’s standing out from the rest is Samuel L. Jackson.

So, it begs the question; What is it like working with Samuel L. Jackson?

The Hateful EIght

Well, in a newly released featurette centering around Major Marquis Warren (Samuel L. Jackson), a former union soldier turned “infamous bounty hunter.” In the video, Jackson unpacks his character’s motivations – “he joined the war, he says, to kill white, Southern crackers, but he killed pretty much anybody who got in his way”

But, the video also shows what it’s like to work with Samuel L. Jackson with the cast and crew revealing Jackson’s acting process. “Sam is one of those very few people that sometimes can get Quentin to step outside of the words on the page,” says director of photography Bob Richardson. “That level of respect I’ve only seen with Sam.”

Even Kurt Russell praised Jackson’s acting. “I really looked forward to working with Sam because he’s a bold actor,” says Russell. “He’s inventive, creative. He’s right there with you, for you. You should be there for him.”

As the highest grossing actor in Hollywood, you have to trust Samuel L. Jackson’s acting process!
