The MGM Feature Film MAX is seeking those interested in working as background Extras for filming!

According to the casting call flyer, all ages and ethnicities are needed!

MGM Studios, Sunswept Entertainment and Picture 8 Productions are bringing a new family movie MAX to North Carolina to begin filming this spring.

Inspired by true events, MAX – “A Belgian Shepard Malinois military working dog returns from active service in Afghanistan traumatized by his handler’ s death. Erratic and dangerous, Max is adopted by the bereaved family and bonds with the marine’s troubled 14-year old brother.

Together they unravel the secret behind his brother’s death and pull a family together again.” Boaz Yakin (Remember the Titans) will direct the film.

Filming to take place in Charlotte and surrounding areas this spring and summer.
ALL AGES (Children –Adults), ALL ETHNICITIES, ALL TYPES are needed for filming.

In addition to ALL, Casting is seeking several special need request:

BIKE PARK TEEN- Males Ages 14 -18, Hispanic, African American and Caucasian are needed. All should be able to ride and own a BMX or Mountain Bicycle. Please submit with heading BIKE TEEN. Along with the guidelines for all submissions, please include your bicycle information.

Those of MIDDLE EASTERN, PERSIAN, AFGHANI, INDIAN decent –
Older Males (ages 50’s -60’s), Women & Children needed to portray Afghani Villagers. Please include VILLIAGER in your submission heading. Middle Eastern Males ages 20’s -30’s with weapon experience. Include ME MALE 20’s- 30’s in submission heading.

MARINE/MILITARY MALES –Should be clean shave, have haircuts meeting Military Standards, should be Fit/Good Shape. Many in the 20’s and 30’s age range needed. Please include your branch of service and years served in submission. Submission heading should include MILITARY MALE.

HISPANIC FAMILIES –Adults and Children needed.

STAND INS for Actors. Should have flexible schedules and able to work when needed.
FEMALE SI – Olive Complexion (Could be of Hispanic, Asian, Middle Eastern, Indian descent), 18 -20’s years of age (Adult to stand in for Teen actress), Black/Dark Brown Hair, 5’2-5’2, 90-100 lbs. Please submit with heading Carmen SI.
MALE SI 1 –Caucasian Male, 5’7/120, Brown Hair, Age 18 -20’s (Adult to stand in for teen actor), Submit with heading Justin SI. Should be able to work many days.
MALE SI 2 – Olive Complexion (Could be Bi-Racial or of Hispanic, Asian, Indian, Middle Eastern Descent), Black/Dark Brown Hair, 5’7/120, Age 18 – 20’s(Adult to stand in for teen actor). Submit with the heading Chuy SI.

ALL Submissions must include a current snapshot (which can be taken with a cell phone) and the following information; Your Name, Age, Phone, Height/Weight, Clothing Sizes, Shoe Size, City/State you reside, Color /Make/Model/Year Vehicle you drive.

Submission headings should be your Age, Ethnicity, Gender and City/State you reside. EXAMPLE: 45, African American Male, CLT/NC.
