Terry Crews will host the game show “Who Wants to be A Millionaire”
According to a recent report on Deadline.com, Terry Crews will take over as the host of “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” after Cedric the Entertainer has left the series following one season.
I hear Crews last week reached an agreement for the show, though the deal has not been finalized. Cedric was told of that this past weekend, following his 50th birthday on April 24. The veteran comedian announced today that he would be leaving the show after one season, citing his busy schedule as well as the production’s move to Connecticut, done as a budget-cutting measure.
At the end of the day, it looks like it came all down to money. In order to save money, producers moved the location of production and changed the show’s host.
Terry Crews is dominating Hollywood, with the new movie “Blended” starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, “The Expendables” franchise, and a Fox series, Crews is looking to take over the film and television industry.

A new “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” trailer has released and it is essentially the same trailer but they finally reveal a few other characters in the movie.

FOX is currently in production to create an event series surrounding the Boston Marathon bombing.
The untitled project is in development and is based on the best-selling book Long Mile Home, written by Boston Globe. The book centers on five people whose lives are changed forever after the two bombing blasts at the finish life of the 2013 Boston Marathon.
According to Deadline, “Basil Iwanyk, producer of We Are Marshall and executive producer of The Expendables franchise, will produce through his Thunder Road production company. He and Kent Kubena, who’s filming Gods Of Egypt, will shepherd the project for Thunder Road.”
Rod Lurie is set to write and direct the new series. Lurie recently visited Boston ahead of the 2014 marathon to get a sense of the people and the place. “It’s a big beautiful city,” he posted on Facebook, “with a bounce-back population that takes care, not just of its own, but others as well, and they aren’t about to be stopped by a couple of punks, potheads without a winning bone in their body, cowards without a country. There’s no place on Earth I’d rather be than right here, right now.” Visiting the apartment where the bombers lived, Lurie found a note thumb-tacked to the door: “Nobody in the building has anything to say to journalists/reporters. Please go away.”

The new drama on the USA network is described as a “provocative drama that explores modern marriage at its midpoint.” The new television series features Matt Passmore (“The Glades”) as Neil Truman and Stephanie Szostack, (“The Devil Wears Prada”) as Grace.
The USA network describes the series by answering the question, “What do you do when having it all is not enough?” by delving into their shocking and unconventional choices.

Queen Latifah to produce and star in the HBO movie, “Blue Goose Hollow”.
Queen Latifah is a hard worker. Between producing TV shows and movies, hosting her own talk show, now she is getting ready to star in the story of the legendary blues singer Bessie Smith in a HBO movie.
The movie will be directed and written by Dee Rees, the director of the Pariah. Latifah will star as Smith, and her production company Flavor Unit will produce alongside the Zanuck Company, Shelby Stone Productions, and HBO.
Production is set to begin in June in Atlanta, Georgia.
The new movie will center around Bettie Smith’s life and music. Smith was one of the biggest blues singers in the 1920’s and 1930’s. Her nickname was ‘The Empress of The Blues’. Her career took a hit during the Great Depression, and as she was trying to make a comeback, she lost her life due to a major car accident.
Production for ‘Ride Along 2’ is heating up and producers for the sequel are now getting ready to film in Atlanta.
The Kevin Hart and Ice Cube production is getting ready to begin filming in the next couple of weeks in Atlanta, Georgia. According to Deadline, filming is set to begin late June and early July. It is also reported that the movie will become more multi-cultural to expand to a wide demographic.
The original Ride Along made $120 million in the first weekend now, Tim Story, the director of Fantastic Four, and Think Like a Man Too, will direct ‘Ride Along 2’.
Kevin Hart is currently filming ‘Get Hard’ alongside Will Ferrell in New Orleans, Louisiana. Filming for ‘Get Hard’ is expected to wrap this May. ‘Get Hard’ centers on Will Ferrell who seeks the help of Hart to toughen him up before serving a sentence in a maximum security prison for a crime he didn’t commit.

‘Pitch Perfect 2’ is now filming in Baton Rouge, Louisiana featuring Rebel Wilson.
Pitch Perfect 2 star Rebel Wilson is returning to the stage with Anna Kendrick, Elizabeth Banks, and Brittany Snow in the new sequel to the hit movie. Wilson recently tweeted a photo (see below) letting everyone know that movie rehearsals are underway.
The movie is filming in Baton Rouge, Lousisana and casting directors are seeking extras to work on the movie.
The sequel to the movie centers on Fat Amy and Beca as they move to college. The upcoming movie is directed by Elizabeth Banks from 40 Year Old Virgin and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay
