Thor Reveals Why He was Absent during Marvel’s ‘Captain America: Civil War’

This Thor mockumentary is hilarious

A mockumentary that debuted at San Diego’s Comic-Con explains why Thor was not in the last Captain America movie. And the mockumentary’s absurd humor is pretty damn entertaining.

After Avengers’ last rescue, Thor required some “me-time.” He moves to Australia, hangs out with a guy named Darryl and meets Bruce Banner for coffee. He also creates a crazy conspiracy theory about the Marvel universe.

As Vulture reports, Taika Waititi directed this short, and is directing the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok. So, expect to see this kind of humor and laughs in the next Thor movie.

Captain America: Civil War was a hit in the box office. As the precursor to the upcoming Avengers: Infinity Wars, the Marvel movie was incredibly epic. While the movie filmed in Atlanta, Georgia the feature film had several bloopers and over the top scenes that didn’t make it into the movie. Luckily for us, we can finally watch the incredible antics that went on while the camera was not rolling.

Here’s New “Spider-Man” Behind the Scenes Videos To Get You Excited

Tom Holland is Spider-Man in these new Spider-Man: Homecoming behind the scenes videos.

It’s no secret that action movies would be nothing without the stunt men and stunt women. And while there are several famous actors who enjoy doing their own stunts, such as Tom Cruise, it is not uncommon to see stunt performers doing a large majority of scenes in an action scene.

@chrishemsworth and @bobbydazzler84 beat that!

A video posted by ?? (@tomholland2013) on

In the case of Spider-Man: Homecoming’s Tom holland, he seems pretty damn intent on learning how to become Spider-Man as much as possible without the help of stunt performers. He can do some amazing flips but, in a video, posted on Instagram, Holland shows off his skills alongside Bobby Holland Hanton and it’s pretty damn incredible.

You can easily see why Tom Holland became the next Spider-Man, this guy is was born to play the Marvel superhero.

Here’s Why NBC Wanted ‘The Walking Dead’, But Without Zombies

0

NBC wanted to make The Walking Dead but, feature the show without zombies.

AMC’s The Walking Dead is a hit. It’s the most popular show on television and the show many aspiring actors dream of landing a role on. But, without zombies it wouldn’t be The Walking Dead. However, that’s exactly what NBC executives were aiming for when they were considering picking up the show nearly a decade ago.

Fans getting ready for the premiere of Season 7 of The Walking Dead on October 23 have a lot to be excited about but, it could have gone down an incredibly different path had NBC executives had their hands on the project. Both NBC and HBO were looking to adapt Rober Kirkman and Tony Moore’s Image comic book back in the day but NBC had some strange changes in mind.

According to Variety, executive producer Gale Anne Hurd revealed what NBC wanted.

Before the show was picked up by AMC for domestic and Fox for international, its creator Frank Darabont presented the first version of the script to NBC, with whom he had an overall deal. According to Hurd, their response was, “Do there have to be zombies [in it].” NBC then asked Darabont if the show could be a procedural in which the two main protagonists would “solve a zombie crime of the week,” she said.

That’s right a “zombie crime of the week.”

5 Ways You Never Knew John Cho Took a Stand for Diversity in Hollywood

John Cho has a long history on promoting diversity in Hollywood. Here are 5 ways you never knew John Cho stood up for diversity in Hollywood

John Cho is known for his roles in Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle and most recently in the Star Trek franchise. However, the 44 year old actor, has been working inside Hollywood’s biggest movies for over two decades and as an Asian-American actor he has had his fair share of obstacles to overcome. In fact, in an interview with Fast Company, the actor revealed how he took a stand against what he thought could have part and how he actually led to a positive change for the film.

5. John Cho wanted to change Hollywood

John Cho recalled in the interview how he wanted to change Hollywood for the better after seeing little to no diversity as a kid.

“I remember being a kid watching TV and movies, as someone who was born in Korea and came over to the United States as six years old, and being bummed at the imagery that was on television and in the movies and never seeing anyone that looked like me doing anything positive, perhaps with the exception of George Takei on Star Trek.”

4. Cho made a decision not to play stereotypical roles

John Cho decided early on not to play a role in a stereotypical fashion during auditions.

“I got this audition for this movie called Big Fat Liar (2002). When I got there I realized I was supposed to be playing this film director from Hong Kong with this very thick accent. I thought, ‘Oh, shit, I don’t know if I want to do this.’ I felt that kids might find themselves laughing at a guy with an accent in a comedy, even though I felt the part wasn’t written to make fun of the accent, I felt that the accent could be inadvertently laughed at. I thought about it and I told them no.”

3. John Cho pushed for diversity even when he didn’t land a role

John Cho

John Cho ended up getting a bigger role in the movie by standing for what he believed in and not playing into the stereotypes of Asian American men and women. He continues, “I got a callback surprisingly from the director, Shawn Levy, and he said, ‘Well, if you’re not comfortable with that, let’s figure something else out.’ And it was just an early moment where I took a risk and a director was willing and kind enough to take that risk with me.”

2. John Cho continues to support those who speak their mind

“When one does speak one’s mind, one might be surprised at how receptive people are,” explained.

1. John Cho on Chinatown Season

John Cho explained that he started getting more opportunities as an actor once popular TV shows such as Law & Order started doing episodes set in Chinatown. But, he decided to do auditions in a way that reflected positively to his community. “I don’t think it’s a great experience to have a big role in something you don’t feel good about,” he says.

Daniel Radcliffe Reveals His Acting Technique for ‘Imperium’ and It’s Incredible

Daniel Radcliffe reveals what he did to get into character for his new movie Imperium and it’s amazing.

Even though Daniel Radcliffe could probably never work another day in his life after starring in the Harry Potter franchise, the seasoned actor is always looking to push the limits of art, creativity and filmmaking. In his next movie, Imperium, Radcliffe plays an FBI agent who goes undercover as a neo-Nazi. However, this may have been Radcliffe most difficult role to date.

According to an interview with Fast Company, Radcliffe reveals what interested him in the script, how he played such a layered character, and what it felt like to say racist dialogue.

Radcliffe begins by explaining the type of movie scripts he comes across. He explains, “Often in these kinds of scripts you’ll have a character that’s set up as being smart and that’s how he overcomes obstacles in the first two-thirds of the film, but then in the last act, it’s just, ‘Ah fuck it, give him a gun.’ And it’s nice to see a script that has the balls to keep him unarmed and using his brain until the end.”

Radcliffe also had several discussions with director Dan Ragussis about how to portray his character. Radcliffe wanted to show the audience that the character was multi-dimensional having two distinct personalities, a neo-Nazi and a FBI agent. He says, “Something I deferred to Dan [Ragussis] on all the time was working out how good Nate is at hiding his feelings. Because you want to show the audience stuff that you don’t want to show the character you’re in the scene with, so it’s sort of trying to find that line of showing I’m shit-scared in a way that they can see it without the guy I’m with being like, ‘Hey, you’re obviously shit-scared—presumably you’re FBI.’ It was hard to make sure you know where he is emotionally at all times but make it believable that the people he’s with wouldn’t.”

However, for Daniel Radcliffe the hardest part of making the movie for Radcliffe was the racist dialogue. He explains, “No swear words can offend me but when you get to the racial stuff, it’s like, oh yeah, this is the last bastion of what is really truly horrible and offensive. There’s a reason those words are powerful. Even though you know that everybody knows and understands that you’re acting and this in no way reflects on you, it’s still just horrible to say some of this stuff, so I found myself going up to some of the actors between takes and apologizing: ‘I know you know, and I know I don’t have to, but I just feel like I need to.’”

Several Film Crew’s Cars Damaged On Movie Set in Atlanta

Film crew’s cars were damaged during Leisure Seeker shoot in Atlanta.

Filming is at an all-time high in Atlanta, Georgia. But, crew members on the Atlanta set of the upcoming Leisure Seeker were reportedly upset when they found their cars filled with water in a parking lot where they were told they had to park or be towed.

According to Deadline, 20 to 25 cars were flooded and several of the cars were totaled. Deadline recently spoke with several of the crewmembers. One crew member said it was “the worst experience” they have ever had in their entire career. Another crew member said, “I’ve never been treated like this. It’s very degrading….humiliating”.

It was first reported that the movie’s producers were not going to pay for the damages. However, Deadline reported this morning that they will provide rental cars for those whose cars are unusable for the duration of the shoot “as a courtesy” and also “would like to cover” auto insurance deductibles for cars that need repair.

via Deadline

Leisure Seeker centers around a retired couple (Helen Mirren and Donald Sutherland) who embark on an adventure in a Winnebago. The movie is based on a novel by Michael Zadoorian. Helen Mirren is most famous for Academy Award winning role as The Queen in 2006 and the upcoming Fast 8 feature film. Donald Sutherland is most known for his role in The Hunger Games as President Snow.
