Oprah Winfrey Network announces the fifth season of Tyler Perry’s ‘If Loving You Is Wrong’ will be the final season of the Georgia-filmed series.

Season 5 will premiere on March 10, announcing cliffhangers will come to an end and answers fill finally get answers to questions. OWN says the final season  “promises to be explosive and sexier than ever.”

“We are grateful to Tyler Perry and the talented cast and crew for giving us five incredibly entertaining seasons,” said Tina Perry, president of OWN. “We can’t wait for fans to see the jaw-dropping storylines that are going to unfold this season. It delivers all the juicy drama like only Tyler Perry can.”

The TV series is created, written, directed and executive produced by Tyler Perry and centers around a group of husbands, wives and friends who live in the same neighborhood. The show premiered on OWN in September 2014 to record numbers for the network. The premiere averaged 1.93 million viewers, beating 1.77 million who watched the premiere of Tyler Perry’s ‘Haves and Have Nots’.

The cast for “If Loving You Is Wrong” includes April Parker-Jones, Amanda Clayton, Edwina Findley Dickerson, Zulay Henao, Heather Hemmens, Charles Malik Whitfield, Eltony Williams, Joel Rush and Aiden Turner. The show is produced for OWN by Tyler Perry Studios.

Georgia-Filmed Kevin Hart‘s ‘Die Hart‘ trailer is here.

On Monday, Quibi released a trailer for the upcoming Georgia-filmed series ‘Die Hart’. The series features Kevin Hart, playing a fictionalized version of himself, attempting to become a mega-action here like his BFF Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. But to do so, he must train under Ron Wilcox, who is played by John Travolta. Wilcox is a deranged coach who runs an intense Action Star School.

The trailer for the series teases some action-comedy scenes and his co-star Nathalie Emmanuel. The goal is to pass a series of steps to become an action star including surviving burning buildings, hand-to-hand combat, high-wire greenscreen stunts, and possibly a name change.

“Have you ever heard an action star leading man ever called Kevin?” Coach Ron demands of Hart. “Kevin James in Mall Cop?” Hart suggests. Wrong answer, apparently.

The trailer has over 100,000 views in less than 24 hours.

Die Hart debuts on Quibi on July 20.

Kevin Hart will star in Quibi’s original series ‘Action Series,’ now known as ‘Die Hart.’ The TV series will film in Georgia, according to reports. The new action-comedy is based on the opening of his 2016 concert film Kevin Hart: What Now? and Kevin Hart’s company Laugh Out Loud is producing the project.

Deadline reports John Travolta will star with Kevin Hart in the series ‘Die Hart’. Written by Tripper Clancy and Derek Kolstad and directed by Eric Appel. ‘Action Scene’ will feature Hart playing a fictionalized version of himself on a mission to land a leading role in an action movie. After getting rejected for the part, Kevin meets an A-list movie star. Their meeting launches into a misadventure where Hart is trying to fight his way through a series of action scenes.

‘Die Hart’ will be the first type of production for Laugh Out Loud, which brings together comedic voices to produce original and unscripted series, standup specials, and more.

Quibi is set to launch next year and has announced two dozen series since it secured $100 million in ad sales from leading businesses, including Procter & Gamble, PepsiCo, Anheuser-Busch, Walmart, Progressive, and Google.

Casting calls have not been released for the project but, two major casting directors have announced casting calls for secret productions now filming in Atlanta, Georgia. Check out the casting calls below:

Showtime’s ‘Ray Donovan’ Canceled After Seven Seasons

Showtime cancels ‘Ray Donovan‘ after seven seasons.

The drama series featured actor Liev Schreiber as the main character, a Hollywood fixer for the elite at first in Los Angeles and later in New York.

The news to cancel ‘Ray Donovan’ comes after the seventh season ended in January. 19. The finale for Season 7 will now serve as the series finale. Along with Leiv Schreiber, the cast also featured Eddie Marsan, Dash Mihok, Pooch Hall, Steven Bauer, Jon Voight, and Graham Rogers. It was created by Ann Biderman and executive produced by David Hollander, Mark Gordon, Bryan Zuriff, and Lou Fusaro.

“After seven incredible seasons, ‘Ray Donovan’ has concluded its run on Showtime,” the premium cabler said in a statement. “We are proud that the series ended amid such strong viewership and on such a powerful note. Our deepest thanks go to Liev Schreiber, Jon Voight, showrunner David Hollander and the entire cast and crew, past and present, for their dedicated work.”

Liev Schreiber commented on the potential of an eighth season after the end of Season 7. On Instagram, he said the show’s future is in the hands of the network. ‘Ray Donovan’ had 82 episodes and is one of the longest-running Showtime series to date. ‘Ray Donovan’ received 10 Emmy nominations during its run, with Hank Azaria winning for best guest actor in a drama in 2016 for his role as Ed Cochran.

This news comes after Showtime plans on ending ‘Shameless’ with an eleventh and final season. The announcement was made by Showtime’s co-president of entertainment Gary Levine during the network’s Television Critics’ Association press tour in January. ‘Homeland’ is also coming to an end with the eighth season, which will start their final run this February.
