Coronavirus: Warner Bros Launches an Anonymous COVID-19 Reporting System

Warner Bros. has reportedly created an anonymous reporting system in Europe.

The mission of the new anonymous reporting is to alert the studio if the cast and crew witness people breaking COVID-19 production safety protocols.

This news comes after Warner Bros. announced production for ‘Fantastic Beasts’ and ‘The Batman’ is heading back into production in the UK following a Coronavirus COVID-19 production shutdown.

Kevin Trehy, Warner Bros executive Vice President of physical production reportedly discussed the importance of safety and adhering to guidelines.

Deadline reports he told an industry panel in a behind-closed-doors meeting, that “No-one knows what a schedule looks like in the new normal,” and there is a need for longer pre-productions allowing sets to “pivot” when things are not going as planned.

In related news, Atlanta’s film industry is reportedly back in action. Currently, the Georgia Film Commission says 14 productions are now in preproduction or have started filming. However, Deadline reports there are several others who are early preproduction and plan on filming as early as next week.

Productions currently filming include ‘Black Adam’ starring Dwayne Johnson, Season 13 of Bravo’s ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’, Lifetime’s ‘Little Women: Atlanta’ and Tyler Perry’s ‘Sistas’ and ‘The Oval’. It is important to note that while ‘Black Adam’ is now in preproduction in Georgia, filming is not expected to start until next year.

In addition, independent films including ‘Home Safe’, ‘Terror Lake Drive’, ‘Don’t Waste Your Pretty’. and ‘Double Kidnapped’.

Actress Sarah Chalke on Auditioning for ‘Scrubs’, Getting Cast on ‘Rick and Morty’

Sarah Chalke opens up about auditioning for ‘Scrubs‘ and getting on ‘Rick and Morty‘

Sarah Chalke is most known for her role as Elliot Reid on ‘Scrubs’. Before playing the principal supporting role, she was also known for playing Becky Connor on ‘Roseanne’ in the 90s. Since ‘Scrubs’, she has returned to Canada. In a recent interview with Digital Spy, she opens up about how she didn’t initially take the audition for ‘Scrubs’ too seriously.

“With the Scrubs pilot, I’d just moved to LA a couple of months before with my best friend. We didn’t know anyone. We never had any plans. We had plans to go to a show, and I got two auditions for the next morning. I’m so Type A, and normally I work on an audition from the second I get it until the second I go in the room. And I was like, ‘I’m not canceling. I’m not canceling these plans. Whatever these two auditions are, I’m not canceling these plans.’”

Chalke got the ‘Scrubs’ script and realized how much she enjoyed the show. She remembers, “I got home at midnight, and I read the Scrubs pilot, and I was like, ‘Oh, s—. This is really, really, really good. I want this so badly!’ And the audition was at 9am. So I thought, ‘OK, I’ll skip the other audition, and I’ll just focus on the Scrubs one’. I went in the next morning at 9, and, yeah, I’ll never forget the moment that Bill [Lawrence, showrunner] called me and was like, ‘You’ve got it’.”

It took a while for her to get a call-back. Chalke remembers, “It was a bit of a long, drawn-out process. I remember just feeling like, I thought I was maybe dreaming when I got that phone call.”

When asked about her favorite moments on her acting career, Chalke said, “I feel really lucky because when you read a script and you’re excited about it – that was certainly the feeling that I had when I read the Scrubs pilot, and the feeling I had when I read the Rick and Morty pilot, and the feeling that I had when I read this Netflix series that I just did called Firefly Lane which is coming out in the fall.

“You kind of get goosebumps, and you think, ‘Oh my gosh, I hope this works. I hope we get to do this for a while.’ But you never know, right? Because it’s such a combination of timing and so many factors that go into it. You know when you read something and you love it, but you don’t know how it’ll be received.”

When asked about getting cast on ‘Rick and Morty’, she said “I loved the script. I was auditioning from a friend’s cabin for the call back. Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon called me.

Jake Gyllenhaal on How He Approaches Acting, Networking, and Friendships

Jake Gyllenhaal opens up about his acting, career moves, and Hollywood friendships.

Jake Gyllenhaal has appeared in a wide diaspora of movie roles over the last decade. He has also started focusing more on theater work by working on Broadway. In a recent interview with Vogue, Gyllenhaal talked about his previous career decisions and why he feels he has a lot of growth he can accomplish over the next few years.

While known as a film actor, he starred in his first Broadway musical in the 2017 revival of ‘Sunday in the Park’. He explained, “I do love acting in movies and I have had great luck, but really I feel at home when I’m acting and singing simultaneously. It’s been that way since I was very young.”

Gyllenhaal’s earliest films were both dramas and comedies, ‘Donnie Darko’ and ‘Bubble Boy, respectively. Looking back, Gyllenhaal believes that they helped create the image that was reinforced throughout the rest of his acting career. That said, he has changed his acting style since then.

“It’s very important we’re portraying men in a different way in film, in art. I remember being very young, very sensitive, and someone said I was a doormat. I think what they were trying to say, that’s full of its own very interesting complications, was that I cared. And things affected me. That potentially I wouldn’t be someone you would picture jumping off a roof into an exploding building. But I don’t agree with that. When I did Jarhead, the writer William Broyles said to me, ‘You are like so many of the guys I was in service with.’ I think that’s important to perpetuate in storytelling.” He added the joke, “At the same time, that might just be me trying to get more jobs.”

Gyllenhaal admitted that it was important for him to focus more on his personal life instead of his career. “I’m interested in my life, even more so than my work. I’ve reached a point in my career where I feel hungry in a different way. I’ve seen how much of my life I’ve neglected as a result of being committed to that work and that idea.”

He added, “seeing life as something that is, you know, fleeting, and the world being as it is now. I’ve turned to my family, I’ve turned to my friends and I’ve turned to love. I’m a little less interested in the work, I would say, and more interested in that.”

When asked about celebrity friends, he expressed the importance of networking. “You’re making me feel very emotional about my friends,” he says, sweetly. “Those male friendships are very important to me.”

How to Get Cast in ‘The Gray Man’ Starring Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans

The Gray Man (Movie) Cast, casting calls, auditions, and news you should know.

Netflix is spending millions on a new thriller movie, ‘The Gray Man’, starring Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans.

According to reports, the movie’s budget is $200 million is based on a series of books by Mark Greaney. ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ directors Joe and Anthony Russo will direct the movie with a script written by Joe and contributions by Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus.

Netflix is planning on creating a film franchise around the movie. Ryan Gosling will play a former CIA agent, Court Gentry. Gentry is a freelance assassin who is being chased down by his former agency associate Lloyd Hansen, who is played by Chris Evans.

“We have all committed to the first movie, and that’s got to be great to get us to the second movie,” said Joe Russo.

Netflix is planning on expanding its original content as the traditional movie theater experience becomes a distant memory due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Production on ‘The Gray Man’ is expected to start this January 2021 in Los Angeles, California.

In July, the Russo Brothers’ film will be released in theaters and on Netflix.

The Gray Man, the superhero buddy comedy from the Russo Brothers, has unveiled its first trailer. The film’s official title is The Gray Man. Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans star in the project.

The Gray Man follows Greaney’s novel series of the same name. Gosling plays CIA operative Court Gentry/Sierra Six, and Evans portrays Lloyd Hansen: a former colleague whose superiors have compromised.

The film is co-produced by Joe Roth, Jeffrey Kirschenbaum, Mike Larocca, and Chris Castaldi, with Patrick Newall, Christopher Markus, Stephen McFeely, Jake Aust, and Angela Russo-Otstot, Geoff Haley, Zack Roth, and Palak Patel will serve as executive producers.

The cast includes Jessica Henwick, Wagner Moura, Dhanush, Alfre Woodard, Regé-Jean Page, Julia Butters, Eme Ikwuakor, and Scott Haze.

The Gray Man has a new trailer, which you can watch above. The Gray Man will be available on Netflix on July 22 and in select theaters on July 15.

Ages: 18+
Any ethnicity male or female
