Bradley Cooper looks like he has packed on a ton of muscle fo rhis new role in ‘American Sniper’. It is reported that he has gained 40 pounds and a beard to star as Navy Seal Chris Kyle in Clint Eastwood’s new movie that is based is on a true story.
Cooper’s co-star, Eric Close, recently spoke to E! News about Cooper’s transformation. “He put on like 40 pounds,” Close said. “He really takes this story personally and wants to do an honorable job for Chris’ memory and for his family.”

The sequel to ‘Divergent’, ‘Insurgent’ is now casting talent to appear in the upcoming movie.
If you don’t know, the films are based on the books in Veronica Roth’s best selling trilogy about Tris, a 16 year old living in a dystopia and does not fit in anyone of the society’s five factions.
Although Divergent was primarily filmed in Los Angeles and Chicago, where the stories are set, Insurgent and Allegiant will primarily be filmed in Atlanta starting in May.
The upcoming production has been code-named “Mineral” in order to protect the production of the feature film.
Insurgent will hit theaters on March 20, 2015. The release date for Allegiant is March 18, 2016.

Showtime plans on creating a new television series that centers on the crack cocaine epidemic in Los Angeles.
John Singleton is returning to the era of his debut feature film Boyz In The Hood with a new television series, Snowfall.
According to Deadline, the drama series is set to premiere on Showtime.
Singleton is set to direct and co-write the project, co-written by Eric Amadio. The two executive produce with Michael London and Underground’s Trevor Engelson and Evan Silverberg.
The new television series will center on the start of the crack cocaine epidemic in Los Angeles told through the eyes of a young black kid from Compton, a Mexican wrestler and a CIA agent charged with running the money to the Mexican drug lords.
The new television series is described as being filmed in the same way as Boyz IN the Hood, which earned Los Angeles native Singleton writing and director nominations several years ago.

The Lebron James Comedy is now filming in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Starz Network has teamed up with Lebron James for a new television series. The scripted comedy series comes from executive producers James, Tom Werner,Mike O’Malley, Maverick Carter and Paul Wachter. O’Malley is also a writer on Showtime’s Shameless and an Emmy nominee for his role on Glee, will pen the project. The comedy, which was first announced in September, is currently in production and scheduled to premiere in September. The production company behind Arnold Schwarzenegger’s last feature film “Sabotage” has laid off employees following the horrible opening of the big budget production.
QED International has laid off five employs including support staff and a junior lawyer three weeks after the disastrous opening of Sabotage, according to Deadline.
Sabotage, directed by David Ayer and featured the action star Arnold Schwarzenegger failed to capture the attention in the box-office.
But, QED International is not done as they are preparing to release several other big budget productions in the next few months.
Thee bloody pic flopped and is hanging on by its fingernails in the Box office Top 20 — it’s No. 18 in its third weekend — having grossed a mere $10M. John Hegeman, president of worldwide marketing, is still on board as he helps prepare the debut of the next Ayer-directed film, Fury,which has some star power in Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf and audience favorite Michael Pena. QED slapped down $1M to buy the WWII spec from Ayer over a year ago; it will bow in November. One insider said that QED is reallocating resources for development spending. To that point, today QED purchasedYellowstone Falls, a 52-page spec script by Dan Kunka, winning what was said to be a heated bidding war. The film, which will be produced by Kevin Misher and QED President Bill Block, is about a mother wolf who must battle to save her cubs after being separated from her mate following an apocalyptic event [Deadline].
That is tough that five people were let go from the production.
