Hello! Thank you for expressing interest in participating in our PRIVATE AMERICAN IDOL AUDITIONS. This application is for Idol Casting Producer Asjai Lou, who is responsible for finding TOP TEIR VOCALIST for American Idol. Completing this application does not guarantee a spot with the executives, however, it does guarantee an Idol producer Asjai Lou will view your talent. Those Asjai Lou feel are ready to be THE NEXT IDOL will be contacted directly and scheduled for a PRIVATE EXECUTIVE AUDITION.

AMERICAN IDOL EP AUDITION PROCESS:
1: Complete THIS questionnaire
2: Start practicing song choices. READ INFO BELOW REGARDING SONG CHOICE PREPARATION.
3: If chosen casting team will contact you to meet with Asjai Lou in a private zoom togo over your song choices and story for EP audition.
4: Once song choice for EP audition are solid, Asjai will schedule a PRIVATE EXECUTIVE AUDITION via zoom. After zoom, Asjai will be given a yes, no or maybe by executives which she will share.
Everything is done digitally via zoom until we shoot the actual show.

Have instrumentals for each song choice, acapella does not do too well in zooms. IF YOU PLAY AN INSTRUMENT PLEASE PLAY AND SING. We want to not only hear your amazing voice but we also need to see your performance skills. Come dressed like the star YOU ARE.

How To Prepare For Your American Idol Audition
Before you do anything, make sure you meet American Idol’s eligibility requirements. You must be at least 15 years old. You must also be a legal U.S. resident. You can find more detailed eligibility requirements here. Due to the pandemic, auditions have gone virtual with aspiring singers having the ability to start the audition process online.
What to do on the day of your American Idol audition
According to reports, you can pick up a wristband and seat ticket at the Check-In when you reach the audition location. The show also suggests signing the Personal Release form ahead of time. Before COVID, you were allowed to bring one person with you at the audition. If you’re under 18, your parent or guardian must sign a Personal Release and accompany you at all times. Audition times range from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
What to sing in your American Idol audition?
Once you get started, you can either sing a cappella or accompanied by an instrument. You may be asked to sing two to three songs, so make sure you have multiple options. If you receive a callback, you may be asked to sing a song off a producer’s list of options, and another song of your choice. It is important to note, you will have to go through multiple rounds of auditions before you get a chance to meet the judges and make the cut. Advice The show advises American Idol contestants not to wear clothing that features designer names, logos, or celebrity/cartoon images. If you have a tattoo, you may be asked to cover it.
