Casting directors are now casting talent for the upcoming Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier will center on Steve Rogers as he continues working with S.H.I.E.L.D but, struggles embracing his new role in the modern world. He is then re-united with James ‘Bucky’ Barnes, who is now brainwashed Russian assassin known as the Winter Soldier.
Recently, Chris Evans talked a little bit about The Winter Soldier. “There were always hints [that ‘Winter Soldier’ would be the sequel]. The best thing about [Marvel Studios president] Kevin Feige is he’s a fan. He’s not just a businessman, he’s a rabid comic book fan. Even during the first ‘Captain America,’ well before ‘The Avengers,’ there were whispers of [Winter Soldier] being the sequel. So I’m excited to tackle that.”
The upcoming Captain America sequel, starring Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Sebastian Stan, and Scarlett Johansson, is set to begin filming in Cleveland, OH next month and they’re in need of background actors.

The conflicts in the series, both internal and external, stem from the elimination-style format of the show. Early in the season, the bachelor goes on large group dates with the women, with the majority of women eliminated during rose ceremonies. As the season progresses, women are also eliminated on one-on-one dates and on elimination two-on-one dates. The process culminates with hometown visits to the families of the final four women, overnight dates, should they choose to accept, at exotic locations with the final three women, and interaction with the bachelor’s family with the final two women. In many cases, the bachelor proposes to his final selection.

Casting Directors are now building a database for stand ins.
Catrett-Locke Casting (better known locally in the Atlanta area as “CL Casting”) is the brainchild of co-founders Rose Locke and Jamie Lynn Catrett, who brought their vision to life in 2011 after casting the background for the feature film “The Watch”.
CL Casting is an Extras Casting Company located in Atlanta, Georgia. They point out on their Facebook Page their mission to provide various productions – film, television, commercials, print ads, etc – with the best talent that Atlanta has to offer and to represent said talent under the highest professional standards imaginable.
A stand-in for film and television is a person who substitutes for the actor before filming, for technical purposes such as lighting.
Stand-ins are helpful in the initial processes of production. Lighting setup can be a slow and tedious process; during this time the actor will often be somewhere else. Stand-ins allow the director of photography to light the set, the camera department to light and focus scenes. The director will often ask stand-ins to deliver the scene dialogue (“lines”) and walk through (“blocking”) the scenes to be filmed. In this way, a good stand-in can help speed up the day’s production and is a necessary and valuable cast member on a film.
CL Casting recently posted the following Casting Call for Stand-ins on their Facebook Page:
Hi everyone. We are currently building a database for stand-ins. Please fill in the below form and then send an e-mail to CLCStandins@gmail.com.
