Casting directors for CBS Television series ‘Under the Dome’ are seeking background actors and extras.

NCasting is currently looking for men and women ages 18 to 55 of various ethnicities to do physical activity in a scene filming in Wilmingotn, North Carolina. Talents that own a truck or car may also receive a $15 to $25 pay bump if the car is used in a scene.
CBS Under the Dome is based on Stephen King’s bestselling novel about a small town that is suddenly and inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by a massive transparent dome. UNDER THE DOME stars Mike Vogel, Rachelle Lefevre, Dean Norris, Natalie Martinez, Britt Robertson, Alexander Koch, Colin Ford, Nicholas Strong, Jolene Purdy and Aisha Hinds.
CASTING CALL: Monday March 3rd, in the Burgaw area… I need men and women 18-55 years old and of all ethnicities that are in good shape as you may be asked to do physical activity in the scene.
This role is either “MALE TOWER FOLK”, “FEMALE TOWER FOLK,” or “ETHNIC TOWER FOLK,” I also need pick up trucks and a car that are not red or white.

Once we receive everyone’s availability, we will book people based on the needs of the production for those days.

2. BOOKING EMAIL
If you are booked, you will receive a BOOKING EMAIL. It will give you the details of the days you are booked to work. You must respond to your booking or you will be replaced.

If you respond to the AVAILABILITY CHECK/SURVEY and don’t receive a booking email, it means that you are not needed for that particular episode. We will do our best to get a booking email to you no later than 48 hours of the shoot date.

3. CALL INFO
The day before your booking you will receive your CALL INFO. You can expect this email to arrive some time between 8:00PM and 11:00PM. This is because we do not get the official call times until they are finished filming on that current day. When you receive your CALL INFO email you are REQUIRED to respond. This is how we know you have received the information and that you will be there.

Kanye West has updated his website to announce that a Yeezus tour film is about to be released in movie theaters nationwide.

The Yeezus Tour film was directed by Hype Williams, and will be in theaters.

It looks like Kanye West is trying to break into Hollywood. Recently, American Psycho author, Bret Easton Ellis, spoke with Vice.com about an apparent collaboration in a new movie based on the Yeezus tour.

Either way, if you are fan of musicals, hip hop, or stage production you will most likely find this trailer exciting.

The producers for ‘From Dusk Till Dawn’ are now casting new talent in Austin, Texas.

 
Casting directors are looking for extras who have not appeared on ‘From Dusk Till Dawn’. They are accepting submissions from background actors to portray ‘Travelers’ – attractive, clean-cut professional types. For more details see the casting call below:

The English-language El Rey – which is set to premiere this December nation-wide with initial carriage via Comcast – would air From Dusk Till Dawn as its first scripted series. Robert Rodriguez, is heavily involved in getting the network off the ground, will be writing, producing and directing the From Dusk Till Dawn series himself. The series will expand on the story and characters from his original film and providing more Aztec mythology. There has not been a report if the two sequels will be included in the television series since, Robert Rodriguez only worked as a producer on those projects.
 

‘American Crime’ ABC TV Pilot Casting Call for Featured Roles in Austin, Texas

ABC Television pilot ‘American Crime’ is now casting talent in Austin, Texas.

‘American Crime’ is a drama written by John Ridley, the writer of ’12 Years a Slave’. The television series is expected to take on racial issues in California’s Central Valley.
According to Deadline, it centers on a racially charged murder the subsequent trial, which are examined through the personal lives of the people involved in the crime. The case gets bigger and bigger, becoming a point of conversation in America’s views on race, class and gender politics.

John Ridley wrote the script and is executive producing the project with Michael McDonald, former ABC studios executive turned producer.

AUSTIN, TX Casting Notice – ABC Television Pilot “American Crime” for work on either WEDNESDAY 3/5/14 -or- THURSDAY 3/6/14.
