A short film titled “2 Grand Later (Barkly Times Film 2)” is casting two lead actors for a live-action production in Ocala, Florida. The 10–15 minute film follows two theater students working together on a performance studies project centered around a late-2010s dog blog, presented through a modern nu-metal-inspired concept. The production is seeking performers for Braeden and Madison, two creative and confident protagonists with contrasting personalities. Virtual auditions are accepted, and rehearsals will take place remotely via Zoom. Filming is expected to require approximately one to two days.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform one of two lead roles in a 10–15 minute live-action short film.
• Portray a theater student involved in the film’s central performance studies project.
• Learn and perform scripted scenes while bringing personality and authenticity to the character.
• Collaborate with the other lead actor and production team.
• Participate in remote rehearsals before filming.

Requirements

• Braeden: Male, ages 18–45, any ethnicity.
• Braeden is creative, determined, and confident and is completing an Acting 2 performance studies project.
• Madison: Female, ages 18–40, any ethnicity.
• Madison is sarcastic, creative, humorous, and confident and helps Braeden with his project while seeking film acting experience.
• Must be available to work in Ocala, Florida.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Compensation

• $115 for approximately 4.5 hours of filming.
• Paid lead roles.
• Food provided.
• Additional production-related items provided.
